Let me Start by saying this was the easiest, and most comfortable dealership experience I have ever had. They worked with me on finding where I needed to be and they never pushed at anything during the whole process. The worst part of it was dealing with my insurance company over the phone at 7pm on a Saturday. But that was to be expected I guess. This place was a 10/10 in my book for sure.

They make you feel welcome. Very efficient, time wise, and their prices are reasonable. They are not the typical dealership that over charges for servicing your vehicle or pushes you to do things that may or may not really be necessary. When I purchase my next vehicle this will certainly be a reason to factor in to buy again from them..Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Staff is always super friendly and welcoming. They always do great work on our vehicles and keep us in the loop with wha they find. Today my van wouldn't start, I called and they were able to get it in and fixed same day for me.

Even though Bareford isn't my closest GMC dealer, I chose to bring my business to Bareford based on a referral by a friend and my trust in Joey Fore to take care of me as a customer. I ended up making a custom order on a Sierra, got the deal that Joey committed to me, and was pleased with how they worked with me throughout.My advice to would-be buyers is to at least give Bareford a chance to win your business...I was not disappointed and expect to work with them again for my wife's next vehicle.

The personnel that worked with were very pleasant to deal with and they were very fair when it came to trading in the Camry I had. They made the whole process very easy, explanations were very straight forward and when I left the dealership I felt good about my decision and felt like they had my back.

Purchased 2017 Acadia, experience was smooth and professional. When I called for pickup I wanted to have the car serviced since it had additional miles put on it. To my surprise Austin our sale rep. Had proactively already had the car serviced with inspection up dated. We purchased locally just for this type of experience, glad we did!

Took vehicle here because of front end rattle noise. Mechanic claim they not hear any noise. But it needs new transfer case. $2,600 later n new case still makes noise. Next trip mechanic claim motor mount broken. $430 later in new mount. Still makes rattle noise. I will not be returning to this dealership. They have no idea how to fix vehicles. I would highly advise people to go somewhere else.

I drive more than an hour each way to this dealership because they are honest and fair. They never recommend any services that are truly not needed, and they don t look to take advantage of you or gauge your pockets. I will continue to use them as long as I own my Chevy. I recommend them to everyone!

Everybody at the dealership is awesome I have bought several vehicles from there and so has my family the only concern I had about my reason work was that I purchased a $70 sensor and that was fine that was the cheapest around but I was charged $148 for labor. For installing a sensor that was on top of the motor and plugging it in I found the labor to be more expensive than I ever thought it would be but other than that great place

I've had my Buick Enclave for over 4 years and all of my experiences with this dealership have been positive. Our salesman was great (Austin) and the service department is always pleasant and efficient (love being able to book online).

Check in/check out went very smoothly, I just feel like the the service technician could've checked and balanced the air in the tires and topped off the windshield washer fluid. Really like the precautions that are in place at the dealership. In example the tech used a protective barrier for the inside of the vehicle and removed it when exiting the vehicle after service.

I went in because my tire was losing all its air within 72hours. Seems like a substantial leak to me. Got an oil change and tire rotation. Well they rotated the tires then checked the good tire for a leak and didn't find it. Yet again I'm waking up to my car sitting on its rim. When I called to get my tire replaced they said they don't care my Buick Encore stock tire at the Buick dealership and can't help me fix it. Extremely disappointed in the way I've been treated

Great buying experience. No high pressure tactics. I received a fair value for my trade in as well as for the new vehicle that I bought. I live outside of Richmond and travelled nearly 2 hours to get to Bareford. It was worth the travel as they had the exact vehicle (color, options) I was looking to buy. They have a small town approach that I don t get from Richmond area dealers.

Customer service was great while purchasing but experience and customer service after was not. My car wouldn't start after only having it for 5 days (I had only driven it 3 times). They refused to pay the tow to have the vehicle towed back to their dealership to have it fixed. My husband had to talk to the salesman, the manager refused to talk to him on the phone- said we had to make an appointment to talk to him. We were also mislead that we were buying a CPO car. The ad they posted said it was but it really wasn't.

Good service as usual. The work was done way ahead of schedule and as usual I can feel the results. Had a recall, inspection and oil change and tire rotation, under 100.00. That's why I keep coming back!! GOOD JOB GUYS!!

I have had a repetitive problem with my '017 Yukon. Although I didn't purchase my vehicle from this dealer, their service department has been outstanding throughout my issue. They have provided transportation for the time vehicle has been in their shop, and they have accommodated MY Schedule. JW, the Service Manager is hands on, and communicates All for your planning and scheduling preferences. An unfortunate issue with my vehicle, through no fault of their own, and now a resolution, Thanks!Service: General repairs & maintenance

My wife and I drove 3 hours (6 hrs round trip ) to buy a truck we saw on the internet . It was easily the best experience I've ever had buying a vehicle at a dealership . The truck was honestly represented and they made a good offer on my trade with no game playing . A respectful , pleasant experience with nice , honest people . I will make the drive again .

I couldn't be happier with the service that Bareford Buick GMC provided. Communication was top notch and the transaction was smooth. No added/hidden fees, no run-arounds, what you see is what you get. Would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new or pre-owned vehicle.

Experience purchasing our vehicles was great. The service work and customer service after was horrible.Purchased a used Denali in April 2016. The website listed the vehicle having 89k miles, a couple days later when we went to test drive, it had 94k. Joey stated that he had been driving the car back and forth. After the test drive, we asked about a squeaking noise coming from under the hood, Joey said it was probably the belts because sometimes they squeak when sitting for long periods of time. Well, how is that possible when he had just told us he'd been driving it?! Joey had fed mechanic come out and spray the belts. Fine, we still agreed to purchase. Along with purchasing a 2016 Sierra. Two salsa in one day.Took the truck home...still squeaking. Called Joey, he said to bring it in. We did, turns out it was the alternator, so they replaced it...no cost. Keep in mind, we live two hours away...In September I was told by another shop that my tires were bed (no bald, but something to do with the inner tires). Also, the AC was blowing hot air, there was a delayed start, the emergency break was not working when parked on a hill, the defrost wire on the back windshield had fallen off, and the back up camera wouldn't work (sometimes). We called Joey and he told us to bring the truck in and he'd take care of us, but we'd have to leave it because there were a lot of issues that needed to be checked.We dropped the truck off on a Friday night, and paid for a rental out of pocket. Didn't hear anything until Tuesday evening when we called. The mechanic said he was just getting ready to pull it into the shop to look it over. i called Joey back a few hours later, he went over an email that he had sent. He stated that tire tread was good, and recommended that I take my car elsewhere to be serviced. Said that the e brake was working fine. I asked if he tested it on a hill like I did, he said No...flat ground. He then told me that maybe I didn't use it right, and he would physically make a video of him testing it and send it to me (well of course the car won't move as easy on flat ground vs. a hill). He also said that the AC was blowing hot air and they were going to look into it, they were going to fix the defrost cord, and he noticed the delayed start, so they'd look into that as well. and that the backup camera wasn't worth repairing if its only happening sometimes. So out of my six issues only 3 would be solved.The next day he calls and tells me that they would replace the batter and recharge the AC for 250.00. I explained my frustrations because I didn't feel it was fair for him to tell us 'he would take care of if' to turn around and fix the issues for a high price. The ONLY reason we drove two hours out of our way to your dealership and paid 250.00 for a rental was because we were under the assumption the issues would be fixed at no cost, being that we've only had the car for five months. Joey then said he'd do the two repairs for 210.00.I declined and came to pick up my truck the same night.Never will I reccommend this dealership, and I will be writing this review online. I am so disgusted with the way Joey did business. Seems as Though once he sold us the cars he didn't care about us after. I came to your dealership based off of the reviews I read online. Hopefully your future customers don't have the same thought process as me because I will be sure to post my feedback to the public.

I ve bought 5 different new vehicles from Bareford and the experience has been nothing short of great. I ve had no haggling, no false promises, in fact they ve exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Living in Richmond I could go to a number of different dealerships but I keep coming back to Bareford bc of Joe and his team. I ve referred them to a number of my friends and business associates and they ve delivered for them as well.

This is my 3rd vehicle purchase from Bareford Buick GMC because they provide the continuing care, information and services that are important for my family's transportation needs. BAREFORD BUICK GMC has and excellent service department and Mechanics. I had some Work done on Electrical problems and Oil Change yesterday on My Sierra., Excellent job at a good Price done in a timely ..Thank You JW and entire STAFF ! DELIVERED my SIERRA and even unexpectedly Cleaned my Truck .

My wife and I were on our way to the Mechanicsville area to look for a new vehicle for her. We had a long list of vehicles we wanted to see, Toyota, Mazda, Subaru and a number of others. As we were driving past Bareford Buick GMC I asked my wife if she would like to just stop in and take a peek. We did, and now we have a new GMC Acadia in the driveway.Austin showed us several models from both Buick and GMC and we test drove an Acadia. My wife loved the Acadia and I was quite impressed with it too. I just hope I get to drive it occasionally. We are glad we decided to stop in to Bareford. It was refreshing to experience a pleasant, relaxed, and informative presentation of the vehicles we were considering with none of the nonsense I was expecting to encounter while shopping for a new car. I worked in the automobile industry for more than three decades and Bareford does things the way they should be done. We got a great product from nice people and they're close to our home on the Northern Neck. Thank you to Austin, Joey, and Mary : )
