Great staff. Very helpful and concerned. Had my tire in stock and got me on my way quickly. I wish I could say the same about Progressive Roadside Service. Left me stranded for two days. Thank you again for the help Tidewater!.

If you re looking for a genuine, caring and quality shop this is it. After having my bike at another big name shop (cw) and having a terrible experience (including not performing services I paid for) I came here. They not only got me in and out quick, but also let me know they noticed the clutch may need to be looked at. Turns out the plates were toast and there were some cracks which could have led to even more damage to other parts. Previous shop told me they checked it over and everything was was perfectly normal. Pam even took me back to take a look at the parts and show me all the damage just so I can have eyes on it. They have great caring techs and you always feel welcomed and treated with respect. Anytime me or friends need something done, this is where we ll be going.

They have good prices and the service work is completed when estimated. I like that they will give you options for parts/tires and provide you with the quality and price information so that you can make a selection based on knowledge. A great place to have your bike worked on.7/13/2023: I had a slow air leak in my front tire. I couldn't find it, and any bike rider knows that a front tire that is low on air makes steering 'difficult'. Pam and the guys in the shop found and fixed it. I dropped my bike off in the afternoon and it was fixed that afternoon. I think they even cleaned my windshield. Tidewater Motorcycle is The Place to get great service and prices.

My apologies Sir! I gave you a 3 because I thought your business was OK. What's wrong with OK? Now your business is "Not OK" based on how you responded to customer who gave their opinion. Is there a requirement to be in your "Database" to give an opinion? Yes I did several reviews in the middle of the night. What's the problem with that? I chose not to give any details because there was nothing outstanding either way but now your business stands out.

Amazing service and suck friendly people. The were very helpful and quick too. They even called me back a few days later to see how the bike was doing and make sure i was satisfied. I will continue to go to this mom and pop shoo for everything from service to parts and advice.

Great service at a great price.Have been bringing this shop my forks to be resealed and tires to be mounted for the past year or so and have always been pleased with the quality of work, fast turnaround times, and fair prices. Recently decided to bring them my 2008 KTM 450 for a carb tuning. Was a bit skeptical at first as KTM dirt bikes are notorious for being difficult to work on, but I couldn't be more happy with the results! The bike now runs better, starts easier, and has a crisper throttle response. Within a week the guys made it feel like a completely different bike for only $100!Highly recommend this shop and will be bringing my bikes back in the future!

Absolutely stellar. The team here could not be more helpful, they assisted me with a battery issue and factory service on my Can-am Spyder. The vibe is amazing, they simply care and that is hard to come by in today's world. I cannot recommend them enough.

Great Experience!!!! I needed a rear tire and recently moved out this way and my bike needed a new doc. I read reviews of shops in the area and gave Tidewater a try. I found my new bike doc. When they test rode the bike after installing the new tire they noticed that the bearings were bad on the triple-tree. I had noticed something odd in the turns but had no idea, I thought it was grooves in the road. This could have been a safety issue if left unchecked. So I took it back in once they got the parts and she rides like a dream again. They were very accommodating and worked around my vacation...and rain. Friendly atmosphere. Thank you Tidewater!!!

First of All... this shop has the best service, staff, and mechanics in the Tidewater Area! I brought my 91 FLHTCU in for tires and the friendship started right then... since then they have done a Stage 1 for me and they will have all of my future business all I can say is that if you go ANYWHERE else, you went to the wrong place. Pam and Brian are just awesome people, and so is Tidewater Motorcycles!!!

The staff was spot on accurate with the specific problem I was experiencing with my 2003 Honda VTX 1800S. They had all the information about my bike and responded immediately to the specific parts needed for repair and gave me a very reasonable estimate on total cost. I was flabbergasted. They are very fair and honest about what my cost needs were. I immediately scheduled my bike for maintenance. Their professional and honest approach inspired me to request an oil change and 50 point check. The entire staff greeted me with open arms and made me feel like I was part of their family.

DO NOT BRING YOUR MOTORCYCLE HERE !!!!!!!I know this is a lengthy post but I urge you to take the time to read it if your thinking about bringing your bike here.I own a 2013 Suzuki GXSR. I brought my bike here for repairs after I lost control of it and had moderate cosmetic damage. I gave tidewater motorcycle my bike on 11/06/2017 and did not get it back until 05/04/2018. I contacted them every 2 weeks to get an update on the motorcycle and felt like I was getting the run around. They would constantly tell me they were waiting on parts which I completely understood. They received all of the parts and replaced the damaged parts they advised that they couldn t figure out why my front brake calipers and needed to keep it longer. After about month three they contacted me saying the bike was ready. I went there and got my bike it looked great ! I went about a quarter mile down the road and stopped in the middle of Route 10 because my brake locked up. The mechanic ran to me and bled the line which made the caliber unlock. He said I was good to go and I rode for a half a mile and it locked up on me again. I gave it back to them and they kept it for another two months.Oh but the nightmare doesn t end there. About a month in when they got my bike back I called them and asked them for an update and they said they accidentally dumped it while riding it back into the garage. The receptionist advised the accident occurred three days prior to me contacting them and they did not call me because they wanted to find how much damage was on the bike and have parts on order to fix it. My wife took it upon herself to call the business and the receptionist was very unprofessional and rude with the conversation. She cursed multiple times and was argumentative with my wife.i don t know if they had an off day(months) with my bike but I feel like it was a terrible experience. Even after I got my bike back I felt unsafe riding it. I have not ridden as often as I d like because I don t feel like they did a great job. Over all it was experience and I will never bring my business there again. Terrible customer service and a horrible service department. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

I had an incredible experience with this shop. They ALWAYS asked before purchasing parts or taking the bike apart again when the problem still persisted, but that caused more money for labor, so they called to ask first. I have never had a more pleasant experience with any bike or car shop. I would trust them with any vehicle of mine, I wish they worked on cars too! Another reviewer, Adrian, doesn't sound like he has a correct story and you should absolutely bring your motorcycle here. They were one of the only shops in Hampton roads that worked on ktms and I'm so grateful that we found them. We had been put through the wringer with this bike and it had been to two shops that ruined it more and more and the people at tidewater motorcycles were the only ones that actually made progress with it. And pam is so kind and was so helpful. Thank you all for the work you did!

I needed two tires mounted on two ATV wheels. The valve stems were already installed, i installed them myself. I called and asked how much it would be and they told me $80.00!! $80.00? I could have had the 33 inch tires on my Silverado mounted, balanced and installed for less than that. Carts Plus in Suffolk did them for $30.00 for both. Never calling or going to Tidewater Cycle again...

Ripe off. Took a carbureted bike to them to fix idle problem. She said they couldn't get to it till the following week. Told them to keep it no problem call me when find problem. Never called I called them she said it was ready. Bunch of money later brought bike home in same condition. Said they replaced needle in carb as I took apart and it was original. Nothing was worked on and still charged the repair. I ordered parts and fixed myself. Never step foot in there again. The lady that runs shop has natural attitude about her. First time in shop I felt uncomfortable. Just my opinion and my money that I will hold on to in future.

I spent a lot of money in this shop. But when I make a call to ask a question about one of my bikes..I'm told you just want us to tell you how to fix it so you can fix it yourself..wow..I'll never be back..I will pay extra to avoid the rudeness.

Was out for a ride and spotted them right off the road so I stopped in. Very welcoming and friendly will likely go by again and get service done on my bike (2001 Aprilia falco) prices seemed reasonable based on conversation with Pam.

Been going here for a couple of years... I let them service my 2015sgs ...haven't had any major work done ,but I wouldn't hesitate to carry her to them if needed, my only issue is that I had some replacement speakers put in my fairing, work was done in a timely manner and everything checked out good except my bike was kinda muddy... never said anything to them because that seemed kinda petty to me but I'm sure some other harley owners would have had a problem with this.... I carried her home and gave her a shower... all is well
