Great experience at Starr Motors.During purchase, Glen, CJ, and all the employees I worked with were patient and knowledgeable, and went out of their way to make my experience easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend stopping by if you are thinking about buying a vehicle.Cat in Maintenance worked hard to make sure brake issue was corrected and i was informed during the process.

The Whites and entire staff at Starr Motors are first class. I have bought many cars and trucks from various dealerships in my 69 years and have never had a better experience. There was a little issue with my Wrangler EV and they did not stop until they got to the bottom of the issue. Will definitely be back to by my next car.

Starr Motors service department Is one of the Best in Hampton Roads.They have improved greatly over the years. Professional, Accurate and Always keep you up-to-date on your vehicle maintenance/service. I stopped by the service department to find out a good time to bring my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for an oil change. I mentioned that I was in the market for new tires. I still had the original tires on the car and I wanted to stay with that brand. A few other tire stores said that they could not get that brand in due to shipping issues and inventory, however, Starr said they could and at the moment they were having a buy 3 tires get one free. I jumped at the opportunity. The tires were found and shipped the same day. I was more than happy with my tire purchase and feel secure in knowing that they are keeping my car maintained the way it should be.

My husband and I had a great experience purchasing at this dealership. I made our appointment with Devin and he was super friendly and straight forward which I definitely appreciated. The process was made so easy and stress-free. I had gone to other dealerships and I can honestly say that I had the best experience with Starr Motors. I am not a frequent reviewer but I felt the need to share my experience at Starr Motors. My son arrived back from Pensacola and needed a vehicle...had to be a wrangler. After several days of searching and looking at over priced, worn out jeeps. We decided to check out Starr motors about an hour from our home in VA Beach. They had many used options that were responsibly priced. What set them apart and justifies me leaving this review is when I expressed my concerns on wear and tear, the Service Manager Nick and his team pulled the Jeep in and checked it over as if they were going to purchase it. Providing me with a full health status of the vehicle and a maintenance plan to keep it like new. Observing this team being so honest on a vehicle that they intended on selling, captured my trust and confidence. To experience this level the of customer service provided from both sales and service was a home run. Thank you Starr Motors for standing out and we will return soon as the wife says yes to a 392 Wrangler!

I would give the experience 10 stars if possible. The entire team I worked with (Glenn, Brooke, Mary Beth) all went above and beyond to make the experience quite enjoyable. I was out of state and even had a better experience than I've ever had being in person buying a vehicle. The level of service was far beyond anything in the marketplace these days!I will always start with them in the future when I am in search of a new vehicle.

I have been servicing my truck at Starr Motors for many years. I have never thought that they install lift kits on trucks until I had a conversation with one of the mechanics while I was waiting for my truck to have an oil change done. I was referred to speak to Ryan and Seth. Both gentlemen explained in detail the process and the length of time to install the kit. Once I was convinced to have it done, Ryan eventually did all the planning and scheduling for the installation, and Seth was the mechanic who installed the lift kit. I ve had the truck for a few weeks now since the installation and the ride has greatly improved. Kudos goes to Ryan and Seth for the outstanding job. I would definitely continue to service my truck and as well as refer others to Starr Motors.

Starr Motors did a phenomenal job diagnosing a difficult issue with my Jeep and fixing it quickly. They kept me updated with the progress as it went and constantly communicated with me. I always have great service with Starr. This most recent was no exception. She runs like a dream!

Been experiencing a clicking sound while driving straight in front end of 2013 dart (I know) after having transmission replaced years ago, asked about it for years and was always told nothing was wrong (treating me like I was crazy saying there is no sound when I have video evidence.) Fast forward to now, clicking got so constantly bad/loud that I took it to another shop here in suffolk, they took apart my front passenger side and low and behold.. my cv axle had entirely missing bolts. Where are they? Probably on starrs floor forgotten about somewhere. I was 16 at the time they replaced the transmission, shows how much they care about to people paying them to fix their vehicles.

I sent Starr an inquiry on their website. I was contacted by Brooke via email and text clarifying the car I was looking for. I scheduled a time and the sales rep met me at the car with the keys. Chris was knowledgeable about the 2 vehicles. He provided me with the print outs of the specs and out the door pricing. One of the owners even greeted me. Very friendly and professional visit. I recommend.

Incredible experience! Genuine people that really want to help! I purchased a used 2006 Jeep Commander from Chris Kobal. Chris helped me every step of the way. I purchased completely over the internet/phone, as I am from Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Chris sent me multiple detailed pictures and made sure every box was checked to make my buying experience seamless. He even had the service center completely check the vehicle top to bottom to ensure there were no surprises (even put on four new tires + a new spare at no extra charge!!!). The car was fully detailed and ready to go. In-fact, the team at Starr included Starbucks gift cards for the long drive back!!! I could not ask for a better overall experience. If you are in the market for a new or used car, definitely check with Chris & his team before making a purchase!!!

I've had my vehicle serviced here several times. It takes a long time to get service, they do offer car rental with equal value of your vehicle, the cost is a little higher than other places, normal the time fixing it but if they fix it quicker or longer they'll let you know. I compare auto service & one other place is faster however, here they do suggest things when they see things needs to be fixed & gives you an estimate of the cost. The only drawback I've encountered is I know my vehicle had been driven a lot like it was somebody personal car becuz of my gas & they didn't put my gas back into my car neither after mentioning it but expected me to do it for their rental. Customers time is money as well privacy. I miss Nancy becuz she value the customer & try to make sure everyone is satisfied. She doesn't goes along with wrong doings. I wish she could have stayed until my vehicle was repaired. Also, she make sure she assigns a mechanic that's good with certain cars. She'll asks or suggest a mechanic but I'm very particular about that now that she's gone. It's different mechanics now. After reviewing theses comments & feeling the change in the environment when trying to get an estimate to getting my vehicle repaired. I'm hoping theses reviews changed thing for the better, you can't make things beter if you don't know so I hope it improves. An update since this review a lot has changed. They have a high turnover rate in employees. It's not right that things are doing to people vehicles. They put used parts on your vehicle, if you see a car like yours getting repaired. I would reschedule because they can't get part so they'll take it off somebody else car or yours. Also, getting junk yard parts. They don't stand by their warranty.

Normally I write nice reviews but this time I can't help but share because I would hate for someone to get killed.The first time I took my grand Cherokee they didn't put oil in my SUV like they were suppose to.THE SECOND TIME THEY ALMOST KILLED MY HUSBAND B/C THEY DIDNT PUT THE RIM ON CORRECTLY. Then had the Audacity to get upset because he wanted the rim back and now denying him Service. ALL IM SAYING IS PLEASE PLEASE BE CAREFUL..You were WARNED

I absolutely love this dealer ! Definitely recommend. In the past I felt uncomfortable making a big purchase at other dealers or felt like it was the wrong decision . Even feeling rushed at others dealers or pressured into something I don't want to do or when we're just looking at cars. This dealer was responsive and quick with everything. Nice people and friendly I really enjoyed the atmosphere didn't feel judging eyes I recommend speaking to Mary Beth and Mr. Ellis the lady that worked with sales was nice too. Definitely will be coming back! Thank you so much !

Took my 2014 grand Cherokee ecodiesel for an oil leak in late November 2022. We were told it was the oil cooler was told it will be done within around 10 days so we decided to rent a vehicle. 10 days came up still not done parts are not there yet. I had to leave the area for work so I had my wife check up on it. I came back after 2 weeks still no parts. Early January comes through I have to leave again for work out of the state so I had my wife check up on it again. Late January comes through parts came in and we were told that the oil cooler is done however there is another hose that needs to get replaced since they found it leaking during an leak check. We gave them the thumbs up to change it. One week later we were told that yet again it has another hose to get replaced because it was leaking. At this point my mind set is how come they didn t find this before when they were checking for leaks? Regardless it needed to be done so we told them ok changed it. Another week goes by and they recommend to change the radiator because it was clogged. Now at this point I ve been talking to the manager and asking how come this was not said before because it seems that every time we check for an update there is always something. By the way they also flush the cooling system after changing the cooler, so if they did everything according to the manual they should have found that the radiator petcock is clogged from the begging I asked the manager about this and he said yes that is a good point and then I asked what did the mechanic do I was told they just took the hose off to drain. Now mind you as a mechanic myself maintenance manual should be followed not skipping steps or ignoring what s in black and white. Over all we are very displeased with the service department. Although I will give them a thumbs up with giving our rental for free after the first week. Besides that the technicians seems to be winging the maintenance

This review is for the service department.We have been using Starr motors service depart on and off for many years for 2 Ram trucks.In 2018 ago they hit the service bay with my brand new 2500. Luckily it only damaged the fender flare and it was repaired.Also In 2018 my 1500 was in for a steering shaft recall/warranty. The tech forgot to tighten bolt on shaft and the steering was faulty, luckily I realized it before we got on the highway and lost control.2020 we asked them to diagnose our transmission that shifted a little odd occasionally, they changed the fluid and told us we needed a new transmission even though there was no fault codes and no problems seen internally. (50,000 miles later the transmission is still fine)That was enough for us to go to another dealer for a while, fast forward to this year, 2022, we brought the 1500 back for a leaking oil filter that they didn't tighten enough at previous oil change. They agreed the oil should also be changed since it was leaking and their fault.They did change oil but docked my oil change contract for the work(charged me to redo something they messed up)Same visit they installed a fuel pump due to gauge not working. They quoted $400 labor. They charged me $477.Same visit they serviced the trans(they recommended it).I picked up the truck and 5 miles down the road trans went into neutral by itself and kicked out a trouble code for trans clutch error. I checked fluid and Tech did not refill fluid properly, it was low.I had it towed to dealer and told them we didn't think fluid was filled correctly. The next day they called and said fluid level was fine but there was metal in the fluid and we needed new trans. They also said there was metal in it before they serviced it but they forgot to tell me. (I knew at this point they were lying and trying to cover themselves for the mistake in case them not properly filling cause permanent damage.)I advised them to make sure the fluid level was correct and i would pick the truck up.Picked the truck up, no more check engine light and the trans is perfectly fine. (So far)(another clue they were just covering themselves)Point of the story, they are not trustworthy and do not offer manufacturer quality work or deserve the labor rate they charge.We have had service appointment that went fine with no issues also, but as one customer with this many problems, can they be trusted with brand new vehicles, especially at the cost

Spoke to the manager at Starr Motors Collision on getting my front passenger fender repaired. He assisted me promptly and was able to get my vehicle in very quickly.The price of repair was surprisingly inexpensive compared to other auto body shops in the Hampton Roads area. I dropped the vehicle off in the evening and picked up the next day. I can surely say Starr provided the best service and the best price with the fastest turn around I have ever seen. My car looks better than it did when I purchased it. I would highly recommend this to anyone in need of the same experience. Definitely will be a repeat customer seeing that I have a project car that will need some much needed body work soon!!! Thanks again for your guys help!!!
