This place was referred to me by another reputable mechanic. Right away I felt comfortable in his care, and he solidified that once business was started. My car was taken care of at great price, without having to sacrifice quality and customer service standards. Most importantly for me, I got the chance to pour back into a hard working, bar setting black owned business located right at home in HRVA. I finally have a great mechanic I can trust.

Everyone knows how important it is to have a go-to "car guy." I am so thankful I found Mr. Gene at G&T Auto. His prices are fair, and he does quality work in a timely manner. I will be sending anyone I know I need of car service/repair his way. Thank you G&T Auto!

Best experience at an auto shop by far. Staff is amazing and very knowledgeable about servicing vehicles. If you re in Suffolk or surrounding areas, I would highly recommend their services.

Hands down the greatest experience we have every had with a repair shop. We broke down 30 miles outside of Suffolk. AAA said we needed to pick a repair shop in order to get towed. Jumped online and found this shop. A total stab in the dark. Wow it the best decision we made that day. We got to the shop at 4:00. Gene asked us if we wanted to get back in the road that day or the next. Of course we wanted to head out ASAP. He stayed late, ordered the part, fixed our car and got us back in the road within an hour. The price was definitely reasonable and beyond all that service he texted us the next day to make sure we made it home safely. We can t say enough about G&T Auto Repair.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was looking for an auto shop to repair both rear knuckles on my car and stumbled across this place. I couldn't be happier with my results. Phenomenal service! Gene ordered the parts and got my car repaired in little to no time. I highly recommend G&T Auto ! They're very reliable and the customer service is absolutely amazing! 10/10 Hidden gem for sure

I must say, this the most amazing repair facility that I ve ever experienced! VETERAN OWNED! The customer service is amazing! The prices are great and workmanship on whatever repairs you need should be the standard of what a auto repair company should be. I would and I am recommending this shop any body that needs something done to their vehicle. 5 stars is the max on google but I ll give it 10 all day!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

My experience with G&T was outstanding. Gene went above and beyond to replace and point out potential issues on my car without trying to upswell me like a lot of the dealerships would. The pricing is very good compared to what the dealership was trying to charge me just to replace brakes, rotors and the calipers. Mr. Gene was excellent in customer service as well as the work that was done on not only my Vehicle but my Wife's Vehicle as well very fast and efficient the communication was outstanding as well. Called this morning asking about pricing to replace my Brake pads- informed them I already bought the pads with plans to replace them myself but hurt my arm and could no longer do it. They had no problem using the ones I bought. Got me in within 1 hour- super friendly- reasonable! Even did a diagnosis to see why my AC & Heater isn t working- without charging me. The mechanic came and discussed plans with me so I can return to have other repairs done - I definitely felt like I was appreciated as a customer! G&T replaced the water pump on my 1979 Mercedes, and did amazing work! Was very impressed at their communication, and how friendly they were. I highly recommend and will definitely use them in the future!!

My parents were visiting from out of town when their headlight went out. My dad tried the Ford dealership and some other locations, but everywhere he went said it would be at least a couple of days before they could fix it. My dad was able to purchase the bulb from autozone. He took the part to G&T Auto Repair. The owner was exceptionally kind to my dad. He replaced the bulb within minutes, and didn t even charge him.
