Robert and Niya are Superstars. I went in today for a back wiper. It was difficult getting off and took several tries to find the right one as a replacement. These two were so kind and sweet. Thank you for making my trip there worth my time. Y'all are awesome.

Love the people at the Suffolk location. BUT your delivery drivers (one in particular) are unbelievable. I ordered an oil filter (in store). It was supposed to be there from Portsmouth at 5pm. When I went to pick it up, however, the driver never dropped it off. He then calls to say he s not coming back to bring it and I ll have to get it the following day. My car sat jacked up all night and I will be putting this filter on in the rain. I m very upset being that that was my whole reason for doing it the day I chose to. The rain. You guys need a better delivery driver.

Fast, friendly service with decent selection of tools and parts. My only complaint is I can only drop off 5 gallons of waste oil. This is despite the fact that I can buy 10+ gallons at a time and am charged a waste fee when I purchase oil. This has forced me to move my business to a different location as I have several diesels that take 4 gallons at a time.

I went in the store today to buy phone chargers and they were very helpful. When I went to leave, my keys were locked in car. They were able to use a stick and pull my keys to the crack in window, after a few attempts to unlocking on door. Thank you so much to the nice gentlemen who helped me. You guys Rock!

I got there right as they were opening. As soon as I walked in, they asked if I needed help finding anything, but I knew what I was looking for. I appreciate when I walk into a parts store and they ask of you need help.At a rival store, we were trained that the phone was always more important, because the person that walked in is "already there and going to be giving you their money". Always rubbed me the wrong way.But anyway, I found what I went for, the store was clean, well stocked and had tables keeping you and the salesperson 6ft apart. Will definitely continue to go here over the rival

My husband went in there just for a spark plug and the girl was just so rude and wouldn t even help him so he just left.. what is this world coming to in the hiring process

Convenient, close to downtown. Has most everything one requires except tires.Staff tries but too often end up talking away the day with a friendly prospect so customers may go waiting due to intensity of private conversation.Staff managers do a much better job, able to multi-task working with more than one customer as need dictates.Overall I'm glad I know where to find many items I use regularly, all I need from staff generally is to check out.I'll go there and make it a quick trip which is nice during my busy season.

Excellent customer service. Got all new wiper blades, and of course while in the store they offered to put them on if I needed help. I assumed I didn't so I declined and I went to put them on myself. After a couple minutes the guy that helped me came outside for a break and again offered me help. I declined, but he knew I could really use a hand. So as it STARTED TO RAIN he very quickly removed the old wiper blades, and put the new ones on, showing me each time the steps he was taking. This will definitely be my go to for any automotive needs in the future.

Fast service! Great prices.Updated: 9/10/22: needed a bulb for my left headlight. The team member was very helpful in helping with selection and price. These guys are awesome!!

I visited this store twice. (My usual go to auto store closes fairly early. ) Nevertheless, the customer service was excellent. They tested my starter for me & helped me out very quickly. I enjoyed my experience.

Stoppes by to get a wrench, found exactly what I was looking for. Also, first time borrowing the diagnostics reading thing... it was so easy. Didn't fix my problem but I liked it.

I got a new battery for my car they were very helpful I don't know much about cars. Usually go to dealership but they did great job

Had a great experience at this store today. I asked them to replace all my wipers, front and rear, and they did so cheerfully and professionally. Although it was my first trip inside this particular store...it won't be my last!

Very Helpful ! Glenn & Theresa helped give me all the information I needed on my dead battery , helped me use a coupon to save money to purchase a new one with free installation as well. 10/10 best auto in Suffolk

My daughters car broke down. I cleaned the terminals and decided that it may be the alternator. We went to Auto Zone because it is closer. The lady was rude and said that the tester is broken.We went to Advance, and everyone was polite and helpful. Tim tested everything and was a big help. Thanks.Store #174 Main street Suffolk, Va.

Well it would be five two nights ago I went there for a battery check cause I had to repeatedly be jumped last few days and wanted to get my battery checked and get one if need be. Guy trys to check it but connection was messing up and he couldnt figure it out so he sends me to auto zone ( turns out the connection was loose which he didn't catch) auto zone did the same and sent me back to advance. I go in and ask to buy a battery and have it installed and was told that they dont do it when it is an hr til closing. I got fed up went to walmart to buy a self jumper. Good thing cause my battery died the next morning. So back to advance where it was a whole different experience. I was able to get a battery and the staff that morning was wonderful and friendly.

The employees here are amazing, got me and my dad in and out with no attitude and no negativity. I can't recommend this place enough, great work!

I went to Advance auto for a battery and I bought a battery but my computer in my car didn't reset. The guy I had was a kid and the other staff and managers was standing around smoking cigs not helping at all. The guy was looking up everything on his phone. I asked him to check the engine and his reply was the engine light was not on. I left very discussed and I probably will never go back. I prefer AutoZone or O' Reilly's. At least they would take the opportunity to look at the problem before selling me something that does not work.

Advance Auto usually has a great deal on car cleaning products which I use alot so I only shop here now. And the selection is better.
