Outstanding. Dropped off Friday for state Inspection, car was finished monday morning. Eclipse Day. Dropped off 2nd car. Hate when they are boath due at the same time.

I only gave them a 2 because of the customer service. I took one car up there and spent a lot of money for the car to break down weeks later because they did a service that they didn't have the equipment for. Before that breakdown ,I took another car of mine there in the same week. They did work on that car also, and it was never fixed properly, and now the end results were my head was blown, but that was after they did a costly job on that car. I lost all my tows in the process. And I'm also left with almost 4 thousand in the whole with no car, smh.

I had my car towed to the car care center from the highway during the morning rush hour. They told me that they couldn t look at it until the next day. The next day came and they still couldn t look at it so I needed to have the car towed home to have it repaired by a friend.

Four years ago, I gave them 5 stars, but things have gone downhill at this shop. I took my car out there to get a brake job but was told that I would have to leave it overnight. I couldn't even schedule a day to have the work done and wait for it. A brake job required me to leave my car overnight, so I had it done elsewhere in a couple of hours. I've gone out several times to get a quote to fix an oil leak, but each time, they want me to leave the car overnight, just to get a quote. I live alone and I'm 7 miles away, so leaving my car overnight to get a quote is not a reasonable option. They say they're short-staffed. I say they need to hire more staff or at least offer a customer shuttle service. They are forcing customers to find another shop.

Back to back repairs at this shop. They are typically pretty efficient, price fairly, and the staff is kind. Not giving a full 5 starts since it did take them 3/4 of a day to look at my car I had dropped off the night before, but I will continue to use this shop because the staff is trustworthy, kind, and very good at what they do.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto maintenanceServices: Steering & suspension repair, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto maintenance

Very impressed with the honesty and integrity of the Suffolk AAA service center. Was told by my dealership that I needed $1600 of work done on my car. Took it to the Suffolk AAA center which quoted me $1200 for the same work but when they looked at the car they assessed that there was nothing wrong with the car. Planning a trip South. AAA member. Agent spent over an hour providing what's called the trip tic, a map of the trip. We received 6 free highway maps of different states that we would be traveling through.

Terrible customer service walked in at 8 a.m. to get an inspection they told me I'd have to wait 3 hours because they had three other vehicles ahead of me. Unreasonable oh, they probably only have one Tech doing inspections 45 minutes each. I went somewhere else and was out the door with my State Inspection sticker in 45 minutes.They need to do better and as a 20 year AAA member I'm quite disappointed.

Make sure you get a second estimate from another car repair shop before agreeing to any work from here. I made the bad mistake of not doing that and this AAA auto repair shop stuck it to me. They charged me twice what it would have cost me had I have gone to the dealership. When I made a complaint about price gouging I was told I should have gotten another estimate beforehand and that AAA did nothing wrong. I'm sorry taking advantage of long standing members in this manner is WRONG, especially during a pandemic when things are bad enough to start with. Will never go there again nor will any of my family or friends. Complete let down in their reputation.Service: General repairs & maintenance

What a great experience! We were traveling from NJ to FL and we were forced to stop due to a wierd sound. Turns out with was the shell hub bearing. Long story short, they got us back on the road for $200 less than our two local mechanics charged. As AAA members, we got a discount which was great. Plus, it was walking distance to a Starbucks and other stores. Easy time waiting. Great customer service. And an overall great place. We witnessed multiple families coming in for the other travel services they provide.

One of the best experiences I have had for an auto repair shop anywhere! The staff was kind, courteous, and efficient. Much less time spent here for a serious repair than for an oil change at other dealership establishments. I will absolutely return again for all future auto repairs/maintenance.

Very friendly young lady named Erin took care of me. I had left my wallet on her desk and she put it in the back for me. Luckily I realized it within minutes and went back to get it.

This was my first time visiting this AAA location. The staff was very helpful in getting my travel card setup and giving me travel guides for my trip to Europe. The representative also offered me a credit monitoring service and she set that up before I left. I highly recommend going to this location.

I visited here to get an oil change and a leaky tire plugged. The staff were polite. My only complaint was that my Hyundai's oil change price was increased $20 without my consent because the oil filter wasn't in stock so they ordered one. I wish I was informed of the increased cost and wait time before they started so I could have made the decision myself, and not been forced into it.

Well, I would like to Start by saying it was one of my Best Experiences on bringing my car to any shop! You just don't know what to Expect these days,when you are getting service on anything! From the time I entered the door,until I left service was OUTSTANDING!! I have been a member a long time and it makes you feel like you are Appreciated when you get Great SERVICE these days! I brought them my car for an inspection and they told me that it needed $1,000 worth of work. So I had them repair it. They didn't do it correctly, so i had to take it back. Then the lady at the travel side of front desk was extremely rude about my dad's service dog when we walked in to pick up the car. I thought that it would be a good shop, being that it's AAA, but I was wrong.

The staff does not return calls!! They are limited on the services they provde. So for a simple oil change is okay.The mobile AAA battery service staff were much more professional and knowledgeable.I would NOT go to this location again. There is one in Hampton that has class A service but this location service department is horrible.The other AAA staff is great!

I have had AAA for a while now in California and their offices were always amazing but when I moved to virginia, I tried to use this place for State inpection and it always seemed to be about a 2 to 3 hour wait. I finally used it to get my second vehicle done and it took about 3 hours and their shuttle service always seemed to be out. I found pretty much any other shop was more helpfully than this place. I like AAA for the convenience and this place did not make it very convenient for me.The people there do not seem too welcoming either. As for AAA I have always liked their services but not impressed at all with this particular location. I'd rather drive an hour away to a different location.

Very good service, pleasant staff here! Thanks Michee for all your assistance! Would like to recommend to management that it would be really nice and very helpful to have a small area setup for customers to be able to sit and work on their laptop, just a counter, table or desk with electrical outlets, nothing fancy. Would have been a big help today since I was there about 2 hours--just a thought.

After having my car for a week they forgot a service I already paid for. I was told I was not on schedule and would have to be worked in for a service I already paid for. The customer service could have been a lot better. I understand forgetting something, but it could have been handled differently.

Never used to have a problem but, now that they accept drop-offs for state inspections; you can forget about getting your car back any quicker than after a full day or sometimes even two! I work for a living and have a family. I can't afford to be down a car for that long.

Extremely rude. The white lady at the front desk with the glasses was rude. I was just coming in with a few questions and was looking for Mr. JAMES JONES. He was beyond extremely rude. Very short with me and didn't help me at all. AAA has decent service but not this one in particular. Take your business elsewhere like I did. The customer service is disgusting.

Went on Ladies Day for Oil Change and 17 point inspection and tire rotation for $25. Made a point of arriving first thing around 8 o'clock and it took an hour or so. While I was waiting for my car to be ready I decided to get a quote on car insurance. After all I was said and done, we saved $600 annually for ten times the coverage. We also increased coverage on our renters insurance and decreased the deductible and added riders for some specific items that we didn't have covered before. We also got AAA towing which has tons of benefits that I can't even begin to go into here. I found out that I have to get a bunch of work done on my car which was recently given to me from a relative so I will be updating my review once we get the work done. But so far, this place is a blessing!

I always assumed that I could trust the Triple A service centers due to Triple A's excellent reputation but recently found out, that's not the case. When my Mitsubishi Montero broke down, I called Triple A and had them tow it to thier Suffolk location. The next day they called me and said it needed a rear shift differential and that it was extremely hard to find this part, he could only find one, it was used with over 150K miles on it and since my truck only had 140,000 miles, it wouldn't be worth it. He also said that it would be 9-10 hours of labor to install it. I asked him what would cause this, he said he wasn't sure but I should of had problems for months prior to it going bad. I asked him at that point, why they didn't see the damage just 2 months prior, when I took it to thier Norfolk location where they removed both of the axle hubs and replaced one, why didnt didn't they see the damange then??? He simply said, I don't know why they wouldn't of noticed it. Once I got if the phone with him, I called Auto Zone and in just 20 minutes, they were able to find the part for $740. A friend recommended a great auto repair shop, who told me this should of definitely been noticed when the axles were removed. They also told me it would only be 4 hours of labor verses the 9-10 hours of labor that Triple A quoted me. I had my truck towed towed there and they were able to find the part for even less, just $550. I've had my truck back for a month now and it's driving great. If your getting something other than an oil change, I highly recommend getting a 2nd opinion before having them repair your vehicle.

Helen is the best. Came in at 4:00 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon for a trip to Cincinnati zoo leaving that evening and she got everything booked and us on the road in a timely fashion with no warning.
