My wife and I had previously researched a Kubota L2501 (gear drive) with the LA526 loader. We worked with Chase Tate and he made our purchase an entirely enjoyable experience from the START. Chase treated us like family, NOT customers. Chase isn't simply a "low pressure" salesman. He is a "NO PRESSURE" salesman. He even delivered the tractor to us once it was ready! In the future, we will definitely be calling Chase for anything we might need in the way of farm/garden/yard maintenance equipment and we will definitely pass on his name and number to those around us need likewise. We are so very pleased we called Chase at Collie Equipment. :-)

Went to buy a trailer today based on the recommendation from a co-worker. The sales rep I encountered was the most despondent salesperson I ve ever met. Don t think this is indicative of the sales staff as a whole, based on the recommendation I received, but I wouldn t purchase anything from Beverage Tractor if I had to deal with this individual. I took my business elsewhere and took home a trailer from another business that actually wanted to help someone that was there to buy.

I was warned in advance about dealing with Beverage. Customer service is poor at best. Bought a large new trailer which had Dmv required inspection. The brakes did not work at all in addition to a deck board which was not installed correctly, causing the board to severely warp. Returned the trailer for repairs. Over a month later, nothing was done. After I contacted them for the second time, repairs were finally made. Also bought a new Kobota tractor w/ bush hog and loader. Used the hog one day cutting grass. Did not meet my needs. Ask to purchase another heavier hog w/ full trade in (purchase price of $3250)on value of my hog. Upgrade hog priced at $5500. They only allowed $1750 on trade in. Again, only used 1 day w/ no defects for which would of costs me $1500 if I accepted their offer. I declined and will Never deal with them again.

Matt Rexrode has went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care in every aspect of purchasing new equipment, making sure my service was done in a timely matter, and making sure I was 100% satisfied with the service I was provided. I would steer clear of Beverage tractor in Blacksburg Va went in to purchase a $90,000 piece of equipment on 8/4/23 talked to a salesperson named Devin he said he would get back with me days past didn't hear anything, so I drove to their location talked to Devin in person about the equipment again while I was there, I purchased a $3000 attachment and he said he would call me back again on the equipment. Its be 4 days (8/16/23) now haven't heard back yet, so this tells me a lot about this dealership if there not interested in selling a $90,000 piece of equipment along with my returning business on attachments, parts and service maybe you should think twice on visiting this dealership John Deere and New Holland are just up the road. RESPONCE: MR GILBET THE UNIT IN QUESTION FOR SALE WAS AVILIABLE ON YOUR LOT AND I HAD MADE A VISIT TO THE LOCATION TO LOOK AT IT. AS FOR THE TRADE YOU HAD THE INFORMATION ON THAT UNIT FOR FOUR DAYS AND THE UNIT FOR TRADE WAS NOT GOING TO BE A DEAL STOPPER AS WE COULD HAVE MOVED FORWARD WITH THE PURCHASE AND MOVED IT TO ONE OF OUR OTHER LOCATIONS AND IF YOU WERE REALLY CONCERNED A PHONE CALL FROM YOUR SELF WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER THEN AIRING THIS OUT HERE. Beverage Tractor knows how to treat you right. I am on My 3rd Kabota purchase from Beverage Tractor. Matt was my salesman and he knows what he is doing. I ve bought several pieces of equipment with Matt Rexrode at Beverage. Professional, no pressure sales followed by professional service. Matt is always helpful whether I m considering something new or trying to find a solution, if he doesn t know the answer he ll find it quickly for you. Beverage has a team of support that has always responded quickly. Kubota equipment has proven to be very dependable. I ll be back again .

Sorry we customers bother your existence with our mere worthless presence to ask you for anything. Salesman Ron Smith was great. Personable, knowledgeable and patient. I had a ton of questions which he answered everyone. He was very helpful in helping me find the right tractor for my needs. Even found a tractor elsewhere when Beverage did not have one on their lot. Past 5 star service.

Really good selection of tractors and related equipment. Everything is more expensive now, and the prices seem in the middle of the pack relative to other dealers. Used equipment, when available, seems more manageable. A few more staff would be helpful when customers arrive so they wouldn't have to look for sales people.

First, the staff are nice people, congenial and likable. But. The service leaves a lot to be desired. They had my Polaris for a month, for a repair that should've taken a couple days. They blamed "delays in ordering and delivery of parts", but told me twice that the pay was due in "The next business day". Finally, I had to call them every time for an updated status, as they didn't call me. Even when it was ready, I wouldn't have known if I hadn't called.

A few days ago I received my eXmark Radius 52 S-Series Zero Turn Radius (ZTR) mower. This was my second major purchase from Beverage Tractor (BT) in four years and again it was simply flawless! I worked with Matt Rexrode both times and those who say that lightening can t strike twice in the same spot are dead wrong.I mow several acres each week with a New Holland Compact Tractor w/ a LandPride Finish mower which takes 4-5 hrs. The LandPride is 13 years old and needs to be replaced, so I did some research on ZTR mowers to see what all the hype was about. I texted Matt with a bunch of questions to see if a ZTR would work for my situation. Matt took on each question with valuable insight and provided honest feedback, but NEVER pressured me to buy anything. He filled in the missing pieces of information and just let me make the call.When I figured out the right model, we worked the negotiations with zero issues and done. His numbers were spot on with I expected to pay after doing extensive market research. It s so good to see an honest and straightforward transaction these days.I ve been using my eXmark ZTR for the past few days and it far exceeds my expectations in all areas. I expect to get many years out of it and the best part is I have Matt on speed-dial if needed. Lol.As far as BT, they have a loyal customer for the remainder of my days. Have always purchased all of our Stihl and Kubota products from David Seal at Beverage. They are great to work with and always very accommodating. David is spot on with any maintenance issues and is always willing to help with any questions or concerns.

I inquired online about a zero turn mower and received a quick response from Matt RexrodeHe responded to all of my questions and concerns and I settled on a exmark zero turn. He made the whole process easy from ordering to delivery also purchased a Polaris ATV and a wood s bush hog and I'm highly satisfied with not only the products I purchased but also the attention and service from this company I recommend them highly.

I recently purchased a Kubota MX5200 from Beverage. I couldn't be happier with my experience. I worked with Matt and he was very patient with me and I never felt rushed. I had some customization I wanted done and that was no big deal.Their pricing was competitive with other local Kubota dealers. If you want something ordered, it's no big deal and arrives fairly quickly in my experience.

I have a second home near Stuarts Draft, but I live in Richmond (approximately 100 miles away). The drive belt on my Troy Built riding mower broke. So after some research, I figured I could fix it myself.After purchasing the belt in Richmond, I drove up on a Saturday morning to fix the mower and mow the lawn. However, there was one bolt that was on too tight which I couldn't loosen. Therefore, I couldn't fix it.I loaded up the mower and headed to Beverage Tractor prepared to just leave it there, but hoping someone could just loosen the bolt for me.To add to it, they close on a Saturday and I arrived at 11:40 AM. Brian was working their service department and after explaining the issue, I didn't even have to ask. He had me pull the mower around, took out his impact wrench and removed it in no time. He also put on the new belt and tightened it up. The whole process took about 10 minutes. I tried to pay him but he refused it.It would have been understandable for him to suggest for me to just leave it there, fix it, and charge me. But he didn't do that. He took time out of his work and provided me with professional, quick service.My experience with Beverage Tractor is it's professionally run by good people who will treat others as they would want to be treated.If ever I need to purchase lawn care equipment or need maintenance on the equipment, I will definitely go to Beverage Tractor.

The staff at Beverage Tractor are very nice and helpful. I'm writing this as information and learning. I have a Kobota BX24 that I took in for full service. I also had 2 additional issues that needed fixing. One issue was the tractor would not start because of a limit switch that failed to make contact. The second issue was I had 2 hydraulic lines that were crimped. The actual service was completed and I was waiting for several weeks for a back ordered hydraulic line. I called several times to check on the progress, and each time they told me they would follow up and call me back. I never got a call back until I left a message stating I was a little upset.The hydraulic line never came in and they finally said, maybe it could be repaired.( I wish they would have suggested that 3 weeks earlier). I finally get a call today 8/5/20 that its ready. I go in pay the bill and go to start my tractor and it won't start. I lift up the seat to check the limit switch. I press the switch and it starts. The service advisor has me take it in the shop and they find it is missing a spring! Now I'm wondering if the other things were actually serviced. The tractor would not start unless it had a spring, or you lift the seat and press the button. Without the spring if you engage the pto mower deck it immediately cuts off. I find it hard to believe that they tested my tractor after the service. When I got home I received a bill in the mail. They need to follow-up on service like they do with the billing.

Over the past couple years I have bought 2 pieces of equipment from Matt Rexrode here at Beverage Tractor. I can tell you Matt is a high class professional to work with and the equipment he recommends/sells you will do what you want and then some. This is a high class place. Called this morning the person answered was apparently was so busy all I heard was hold on. I then asked for parts dept. Person answered that sounded like he was really happy (not) to be there. I asked for an oil filter for a 260Z zero turn with a kohler engine. He said 10 or 12 bucks. I said what's the difference. He said one is black and one is regular. I said what does that mean. He said I think one is longer than the other. Okay thank you. I called Tractor Supply.

Stopped in to get a part for a 1972 Gravely, the gentleman insisted that he have the serial number off the engine, except there isn't one, the plate is rubbed smooth. So I find the manual online and call back with a part number of what I need and they still insist on needing the serial number. It's a 12 HP Kohler motor, not sure why a part, with a part number and the engine size can't be looked up, but they didn't even try. Won't be getting any more business from me and won't recommend them to anyone looking for any tractor parts.

I bought a root grapple and pallet forks from Beverage Tractor. The price was great and CID is a great implement brand. Bill was great to work with. The sales experience was great. They even went above and beyond to switch me out with better pallet forks which was so appreciated... but... Approximately 5 months later, one of the hoses broke for the grapple. It has a pin hole. We called on Monday, left a voicemail for service. Never got a call back. Called again, no answer on the main desk. Called again Wednesday, no one answered the desk. I didn t leave any further voicemails. I ended up calling CID myself, and finding another dealer. My parts were ordered by a Rockingham new holland. I look for a business that can sell me something and support me when it breaks, this is not what I got at beverage tractor. Time is money and 3 days with a broken implement and no direction from Beverage is unacceptable. I won t buy a single item from them going forward. They have forever lost me as a customer.

The customer service is awesome, I have been a customer since 2001 and they have always done me good. There is a Kubota dealership 5 min down the road from me but I choose to drive 6 hours to beverage because they are that good. In past year I have purchased a u35 trackhoe and b26 backhoe from them. Ask for Matt Rexrode, he will do you right

Gravely Pro-Turn ZX60. Matt Rexrode at Beverage tractor in Stuarts draft is a magician. I closed on a house on April 1st and walked into beverage on the 3rd needing a mower like fish need water. I was lookin into a PT-200 for my 5.5 acres and instead of upselling me Matt took a look at my property and what I would be cutting and how often and we decided that a ZX60 was going to be the way go, which was significantly less expensive. Although there were none ready to go that day (3 days after a huge gravely sales event wiped them out) he kept me well informed of what timeline to expect and made delivery happen almost 2 weeks earlier than expected. The entire process after the day I looked at the mower was done over the phone and completely contactless for those who find that important during these times. Mower was delivered at 9am with a full tank of gas and ready to cut. First time cutting an overgrown lawn with a zero turn not having been on one in about 15 years, still only took me about 2.5 hours. That time will be reduced dramatically once I learn this lawn. The absolute most painless purchase I ve made to date. They don t get hung up on upselling or pushing unnecessary products, just straight forward and honest. This mower cuts like a dream on a lawn that hadn t been cut in almost a month! Cant say enough about the service, savings, and purchase!
