This location usually has the parts I need in stock. I think they are doing a better job customer service wise lately too. Prices for parts seem to be going up but nowdays what isn't?

On several occasions my vehicle was in distress and these guys bailed me out. Several months ago my car would not start intermittently. I brought it to Advance and they quickly diagnosed and replaced the battery. This evening my car needed a couple quarts of transmission fluid due to an undetected leak.The gentleman are always friendly and helpful. It's nice to have an auto parts place open past 5 o'clock and ready to serve the public.

I was in town visiting family and needed wiper blades. I googled this location, and because it was close I decided on this location. Should have went across the street to O Reily. Customer Service was terrible. The associate looked up my model vehicle and made me feel stupid about not understanding the measurements. Then he didn t bother helping me pick out the blades and when I asked what he recommended he seems annoyed. While he was installing, I strapped my son into his car seat. By the time I was done with that he was gone. No have a good day , goodbye , or even a get lost! . Not a word!I guess the one thing I appreciated was how quick I was in and out, but a little bit of hospitality and respect to your customers would be nice. Not everyone knows what you know, which is why we ask you for assistance. You don t need to act like a know it all or speak in a condescending manner.Luckily I will never have to go there again, but I warn anyone else who does.

Only one very nice gentleman waiting on ppl and fixing a ladies car while there were 2 ppl in the back talking. He was very very helpful

I always have a great experience when I shop at this store!! There were 2 men working today. One was named Grant or Graham.. Him and the other guy working today December 29th 2021 are exactly the type of employees every store wishes they had. They helped me immensely and were able to straighten out the issue I had. They went above and beyond. Thank you!

Last night, my partner and I were driving through Virginia to Maryland when we realized both our headlights were not working and had no idea why. It was after 5pm, we were 2 hours away from home, and the sun was setting fast. Previously, I had had very positive experiences with Advance Auto Parts in several different locations, so I suggested we try the store nearest us at the time, the one on Old Valley Pike in Strasburg, VA. If we couldn't Google what was wrong with the car, the people there might know, or at the very least, they would know of a garage opened after 5pm. When we arrived we were assisted by Courtney. We told her our problem, 2 dead headlights, which to my knowledge is a rare and unusual occurrence, and she immediately jumped into action. She asked a few questions and started making phone calls to get us answers. Within 3 minutes her friends Chris and Tommy arrived and started to assist us in figuring out the problem.To be clear, Chris and Tommy's arrival was coincidental, but they took time out of their lives to help us. Chris worked on our car for almost an hour (in the freezing cold) while Tommy provided company and ran gopher, and Courtney sorted out the parts we needed and had everything ready for us to check out. Courtney is a skilled communicator. Chris is an expert mechanic with a philosopher's heart. Tommy is kind soul, who was just happy to help. I cannot thank these people enough. They turned what could have been a days long ordeal into a minor blip in our otherwise lovely weekend. I highly recommend this store!

Pricing average. Great help they are informed knowledgeable. Will actually walk to ur car to measure windshield wipers. Will check engine to double check for me. I love the extra help i am a woman who is a idiot when it comes down to car service.

I bought two fuel pumps, which came in Carquest packages. One was used, and the other was bad. In the past two years the quality of parts has declined. I have sent back 1300k worth of parts that have been wrong. I believe these problems have stemmed from poor parts management with this particular store. I am normally not one to complain, as this is my first time reviewing on google.

Awesome staff at this location especially the man John that helped me identify and gave pointers to replacing my radiator on a road trip just before dark with the basic tools I had in my truck. Thank you John keep up the good work!

Every single time I happen to stop by this particular site, I leave more disappointed than when I arrived. This store is ran by a manager that half doesn't know what he's talking about, and it seems that the hourly's, just there to collect a check

Roy was awesome. They didn't have an oil filter in stock that I needed for a $30 discount on an oil and filter bundle and he worked extra hard to figure out how to get one for me.

Always very helpful and courteous. Parts and usually always in stock. Store is kept clean and neatly organized. All in all a geat experience.

Above & Beyond The Call Of Duty! Thanks so much to Advance Auto Parts Strasburg #7471 for bailing out my sister & brother-in-law. Broken down at the McDonald's/Exxon, Advance Auto Parts came to the rescue to identify and replace the car battery they needed to continue their journey. Special thanks to Phil & Dan! Cheerful, extremely helpful, professional ~ STRONGLY recommend!
