I had many parts replaced in my car (Audi A6). The price was very reasonable and I'm very satisfied with the work. Mr. John always gives me such a fair price, lower than other auto service shops. I'd highly recommend Intell.

I think I found my new auto repair shop!I am used to mechanics at other shops trying to get me to replace everything so they can make more money. This is the first shop where I trust the people who run it.John could have talked me into getting rear brakes too, but instead he let me know I still have a few years left on them and should keep them for now. When I said I'll come back for those, he suggested I just do it myself to save money. What a good guyMy rotor and brake pad replacement went smooth and they work great with no clicking, and no noise. I will be coming back here for future repairsIgnore all these fake reviews that competitors have put on here, they are just afraid of competition and are paying for fake reviews. They want to charge you an arm and a leg, and Intell is a threat to that.There is a cultural barrier that many people can't seem to understand. John is not rude, he is just to-the-point and honest. He wont stroke your ego and make you feel like a princess, then charge you an arm and a leg. Honesty is more important

Efficient and fairly priced. The service light was on, but based on an overall inspection of the car, John didn't think a whole service was necessary yet, so ended up saving me money. Tjere appeared to be an oil leak, and instead of charging me for replacing the oil pan, they simply fixed the leak and performed an oil change. My brakes were soft, so they flushed them and now work great. Really appreciate their straightforwardness and honest, and fair charge for parts and labor. John and Joe run a very clean, organized shop. I work at another shop down the street, and we bring them our inspections when we have them. Based on what I've seen and know, they do great work. As a technician myself, it's very hard to find other shops I would trust. I trust them with my inspections, and if needed, I would trust them with a friend or family members' car. As a new customer John welcomed me warmly which I appreciated.His staff were knowledgeable, professional, and communicated well.The wait time was not too bad.If there's an issue that need to addressed and you feel like there's no need for the service the mechanic is willing to show you the issue so you can make your own decision to move forward with the repair or not. There's no pressure, compared to other mechanic shops.I don't trust a lot of mechanic shops but I like Intell Auto Service. I'm a AAA member and they are a AAA approved auto shop as well.Overall, excellent service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Mr. John is the best. I've never had bad service taking my cars to them. They are honest and fair in their pricing and do an excellent job with their repairs. As long as Northern Virginia roads are bad, I will keep coming back to Intell!

Do not go to this place for brakes. I can t speak to other services they offer, but my brakes are worse than when I arrived. And please don t reply saying they weren t OEM parts. You approved the product (PowerStop), messed up the installation, then said there s nothing we can do .

John Lee is very good. Very honest shop. We take our fleet of 20+ vehicles here for service and repairs. My car had to be towed to Intel Auto with major engine trouble. I don't live nearby, but after talking and meeting with John Lee I decided to have all work done at his shop. He explained all options, was not pushy about selling the work, and went out of his way to provide excellent customer service. Service was friendly and professional.Service: Engine repair

Great customer service !!! They are one the most experienced and professional team. They perform clear root analysis and advice only the work require. I visited the for brakes issue on my Jeep and they got it done quickly and at the lowest cost from the nearby Chantilly Jeep dealership. John is a great guy with awesome experience to find solution for any problem with my previous cars.

Very very impressed with Intell and Mr. Lee. I phoned his shop to see if he had any availability to replace rear brakes on my car, as state inspector at a dealership relayed I needed to get it done (of course the dealer quoted me an inflated price to do it - @$300). I checked online and found Intell as they had openings on Saturday and their prices via Repairpal were very competitive. Since I was already out of work, and had to take a trip soon, I called Mr. Lee and asked if he may have openings today - he told me to come by and he would take a look.Walking into the shop, I heard classical music playing....inside the actual garage, which itself was clean, busy, and emanated an aura of quiet professionalism and efficiency, though there were multiple vehicles on lifts.I came in expecting to book a time to get the rear brake pads replaced, but that wasn t what happened at all. Mr. Lee was very polite and walked out to my car with a flashlight, looked at all my brakes, and said there was no issue with them. He explained the proper thickness and that I could drive for another 6 months easily. He further explained that the dealer was trying to sell me something I didn t really need as they usually recommend replacement when brakes are at 60%. So, no money changed hands and he could have had the few hundred dollars to service my vehicle, but because I didn t need it now, he did not take advantage of that. He was an honest broker and I actually regretted that there was nothing I could get serviced on my vehicle.Update - since posting this review 3 years ago, Mr Lee s shop is where I have taken my car to be repaired and serviced. As referenced above, he did put new brakes on my car at least 6 months later, when they were necessary. He replaced the door locks (which geeked out for some reason) and for a reasonable price. And most recently replaced a broken water pump and replaced the drive chain to save me money down the road. I asked him how long I could expect to keep this car, and he said another 100k miles. Honestly I believe him. As I predicted in my original post, Intell Auto and Mr Lee is the best.

Had a great experience working with Intell Auto Service. They took care of my car, did a comprehensive overview and made sure everything was in working order. Reasonably price and John provided great service. The owner John Lee is a very honest, knowledgeable man. I had rear sway bar links replaced for my Impala a few months ago. He was kind enough to explain what the issue was in detail and even showed me under the car to see where exactly the problem was. The price was very reasonable and beat all other estimates that I got from other places. I highly recommend Intell Auto Service and I would definitely visit again for any future car issues.

I meant to write this review last year on my first visit. Jhon and his team always provide excellent service. 5+++. John the owner is very honest and fair. I always take all my vehicles to his shop, Jeep, BMW, and Challenger!

Mr. Lee does the best he can to find his customers a good price. He genuinely seems to care about his patrons and is excellent at keeping his clientele up to date on progress. While labor is a bit expensive, Mr. Lee is the only mechanic I've been to in northern Virginia that I feel I can trust.

Mr. John Lee has always been fantastic in terms of getting my car fixed on time, within reasonable cost, and always with excellent workmanship. He is very professional and tries very hard to service his customers the best way possible. I would not hesitate to drop off my car there for a simple oil change or something more complex like engine/transmission work. He and his mechanic on duty are simply good people doing good work. Thanks.

I ve been using Intel for over a year now on al my vehicles-two Toyota s and a Mustang. Always great service, more than competitive prices. John is the manager and he could not be nicer or more flexible on scheduling and on offering a range of options.If you need ANY auto service this is the place to go!!

Trust John to do his best to get you in and get you out. John has been servicing my cars now for almost 8 years. He has never let me down. Always looks out for me. That's the type of guy he is. He works hard and even harder for his customers. So glad I can take my car somewhere I can feel secure I'm not being swindled or toyed with.

John Lee is the best guy in this business that I have ever met. Just 2nd time here but his customer service dazzles me. Found this place through yelp reviews a month ago, came here first time for a 2nd opinion for a transmission replacement recommended by Honda service center and was assured that there were no issues with transmission after his mechanic and he spent over 30 minutes personally with us to check symptoms for NO CHARGE !! Who does that ever ??!! Other shops run the "price meter" the moment they write a ticket.Drove in here today for a scraping sound when braking on my Camry with no prior appointment, but welcomed in at 8:15 am, and John personally walked me through the issues with the brake pads, rotor, caliper etc. Didn't know before what all those looked like or worked together, so will leave here educated and a car in better shape. Also, will not feel robbed blindfolded at the end of all of it. Fabulous owner and shop and awesome customer focused service. The front of the shop does no justice to the huge and clean garage space they have. Will recommend highly to all my friends and anyone who sees this review.

I had been at this place for oil change service for my Toyota RAV4 and the experience was not good. The owner was very grouchy and told me that never again come to their shop for oil change bringing the owner supplied oil ang genuine OEM filter. I had my cars services several times before did not expect the rude behavior from the owner. I have decided to not to use this shop in the future.Service: Oil change

Excellent Service! I had a transmission problem on my Acura MDX and needed to be fixed immediately so I called several auto repair centers but Intel Auto service was only store that provided me all possible solutions1-2-3. John Lee was very helpful, honest, and high quality service provider.Strongly Recommand Intel Auto Service to everyone!

Mr. Lee has provided our auto sevice for nearly 10 years. He offers auto care that is everything you could desire: excellent service at a fair price. Over the years all of our friends and family have learned his shop is our only choice. I really cannot overstate how fortunate we are to have found him. You want an auto mechanic that you can trust...this is the place!
