They're friendly, casual, and helpful. But most importantly, they're VERY fast. And VERY honest. Had 3 recent experiences with them between me and my partner getting a tire replaced and then getting each of our cars inspected and each time they made it a breeze with no long wait or made up extra problems to fix. This is the only place we plan on going for car work for the foreseeable future.

KTM friendly inspection station. I really wanted to get out and enjoy day riding on my KTM 690 Enduro R. But, noticed my state inspection sticker just expired. I dropped by early at Dulles Auto Clinic, and they immediately took care of me. Back on the road. Thanks to everyone.

Being new to the area, I wasn't sure what to expect from Dulles Auto Clinic. I brought my car to their establishment on a Saturday morning at 8am for a state inspection and emissions test. My experience was GREAT.Although I was told it might take up to an hour for these services to be completed, I received a call in about 30 minutes telling me that my car was ready to go. I was warned that the tread on my tires was getting very low, but they didn't pressure me to buy tires from their business. I certainly WILL buy my tires from them, but it was refreshing to receive this advice just as a courtesy.I worked with two gentlemen named Joe and Willis. Both were very friendly, conversational and informative. Finally, their pricing was very fair.Based on my experience, I would absolutely recommend this business to others.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Emissions testing

Staffs are friendly and explained very well about your vehicle s issues. Easy to book an appointment. If you decide to walk-in waiting time quite long but there is a waiting area where you can sit down and relax.1. I did oil changed for $852. Change two front tires for $4453. Inspection and emission test about $50-$60

Was my second time in two years coming to this shop and it's still one of the few best places out there. Very honest and thorough mechanics. Not understanding the people who complain or try to give them a bad name. These guys do more than what many other shops will do. If I have another problem I'll be coming back here.

My buddy recommended these guys and let me just tell you, I will never go to another mechanic again! Thank you to Billy, Chris, Wayne and the rest of the Dulles Auto Clinic crew. They took me right in and replaced my brake pads and rotors and patched a nail in my tire for a price that is absolutely unbeatable! They were courteous, professional, and honest! They told me exactly what the issue was and made recommendations based on the problem. Not once did I feel pushed to buy anything extra like other shops I ve been to. I will be taking my car here for any auto needs moving forward with my current and future vehicles! Thank you so much guys! I will be sending all my friends and family here!Service: Auto maintenance

This is my third time using Dulles Auto Clinic and yet another disappointment. I was told my inspection would be a 1 hour wait time at most right before 11. I even told the front desk I had to get my car for work at 1. No call, I walk back right after 1 and they hadn t even started on my car. When I asked what happened I was told IT WOULD HAVE BEEN AN HOUR IF YOU WAITED HERE excuse me? That s the most unprofessional and idiotic thing I ve ever heard at an auto shop. Because I CHOOSE to walk a half mile home and back instead of sitting there I get bumped to the back whenever they feel like it? Extremely unprofessional.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Driving home on my lunch break my car started to act funny. This shop is just down the street from me. I called and asked if I could bring it by really quick before I had to run back to work. They welcomed me to stop by right away even though the parking lot was having extensive repairs done to it.They diagnosed the problem that day, ordered the parts, housed my car there. While it was there, they also did an emissions test for me once I realized I was late on it. They called the next day to let me know it was good to go and stayed open late for me as I had to walk to the shop to get the car.The staff was super friendly and stayed in communication the entire time. In the end, the cost ended up being cheaper than what they quoted me. They got my info to remind me of inspection dates/oil changes for the future as well.My husband had a similar experience when last minute he came it for a tire patch. We would highly recommend these guys. Honest, quick, and good customer service.

Yall are the bee's knees, the straight forward, honest car dorks we've all been looking for! Thank you for outstanding work, being AHEAD of schedule, and not doing unnecessary work. Tom M in particular is as good as they get. Great to find people who demonstrably go above and beyond; who know how, and care about doing it right the first time.To all future clients of DAC: In reading reviews giving 1 or 2 stars, keep in mind that the reviewer is generally behind the curve and or ignorant of auto mechanics and safety issues. If your car fails inspection because of tires or other, it's because it actually is in an unacceptable state of repair, as defined by NHTSA or other governing bodies. Reviewers "pointing out" that DAC inconsistently applies safety standards means the reviewer, not the mechanic, is unaware of those standards and regulations.Services: Auto battery replacement, Vehicle Inspection

My experience with Dulles Auto Clinic is that they are a Honest Business, Ethical and Customer oriented.I got my wife's vehicle Safety Inspection done here. It passed the inspection.The front number plate was not affixed by me as the plastic screw broke.They affixed the front number plate and didn't charge me.Jay was courteous and made extra effort to take care of our vehicle. I am new the area and this will be my go to Auto Repair shop.Another Auto repair sale failed this vehicle for Safety inspection and gave an estimate of a thousand to two thousand dollars stating it needed repair to pass Safety inspection.Our vehicle was maintained well and had only a few miles. We suspected that their inspection had a selfish intent and got a second opinion.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I needed an auto shop with the following criteria:1. Nearby work2. Willing to drop me off and pick me up from the office so I don't need to take time off from work.2. Reasonably priced ( I expected to be charged more )3. Courteous, friendly, caring4. Quick appointment setting (not a lot of wait time)5. No up-sellingDulles Auto Clinic is exactly what I was looking for. Wonderful staff, wonderful owner, honest work, so far I love it.

Brought a car in tonight for a state safety inspection. Was failed and and told I needed new front tires and they could order them for me. The tires are not new but are perfectly acceptable. I saw two other people "fail" inspection while there while being asked to make appointments to fix issues.this is the kind of place who will fail you to rack up not necessary repairs just to drive sales. Dishonest. I drove straight to a tire shop to make an appointment for new tires and they were shocked this place failed me. Do not give these people your business .

Have tried many service shops in the area, and have found Dulles Auto Clinic to exceed all expectations! Friendly service, unsurpassed knowledge, pride in workmanship, and extremely competitive pricing. No job is too big or small, and excellent turn-around times! They truly care about customer satisfaction and go the extra mile ensuring they meet customer satisfaction! Great shop! Took my truck trying to get it to pass emissions. Ended up being a more involved repair than I initially thought, but that's life with a 12 year old vehicle! Dulles Auto Clinic did a great job, and I felt they did an accurate assessment of the problems and did only what was needing to be done. Very pleased with the service, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others in the area.

Always upfront and honest about which repairs and maintenance I should prioritize. The owner here has never tried to upsell me. He has also allowed me to order my own tires/brakes online and they will install for you as long as you provide them with quality parts.

We had a mystery with our vehicle headlights-These guys got us in last minute and got them working same day and we even got the vehicle state inspection taken care of and long awaiting spark plug replacements completed. Adam and his team kept us up to date through out the process and gave a fair price. This is not the first time they've gotten us out of a jam and I know they are there for the next time.Service: Electrical repair

I have to say that Wayne and all of his staff at both of his locations (Dulles Auto Clinic and Dulles Truck Center) are excellent. I have and will continue to refer anyone I encounter needing auto repair to them because I know they will be in good hands. The folks here are extremely capable and competent while being friendly, honest, and genuinely great people. I ve been coming here for a few years now and never had a bad experience. They work hard to keep costs reasonable and quality of work high! You won t find better service in the DMV.

These guys are the best! Full explanation of needed work and excellent prices. I always recommend them to everyone. Fair, honest, and excellent service with every visit. They go the extra mile, such as removing black snake from my van and cleaning up after the mice.

Trustworthy, competent and treats women clients with respect (not like we can't possibly understand.) This was my first time at Dulles Auto Clinic, because my alternator died on the way to the airport. We checked out ratings of nearby repair shops and Dulles came up. We arranged ahead for an alternator and made an appointment for the day my flight returned. They took me right away and gave me good advice about replacing the battery -- not pushy, just advice. While I waiting for the work to be completed, I also watched the mechanics interacting with other customers and appreciated their straightforward approach -- giving options, including not doing the work and waiting. When I was ready to leave, I noticed that my AC wasn't working anymore and came back. They mechanic, Christopher, immediately agreed to check it out, thinking it might have been connected to my electrical problems. He discovered it was more complicated, and called me in to show me and explained that the clutch of the AC was no longer working. He provided an estimate and invited me to bring the car back on my next flight, without charging me for the troubleshooting.

I went to Dulles Auto Clinic for my annual emissions inspection. Fantastic service. I was not even half an hour there. Super fast. Staff is super amiable and kind. Very pleased with my experience here today. Staff (Wayne especially) was highly professional and was thorough with explaining services offered and services needed. In addition, they went out of their way to accommodate my transportation while my vehicle was being serviced etc. It's difficult to find a trusted shop and to feel comfortable with a first visit when you're less knowledgeable about vehicles in general like myself, however, this shop made that happen. I will be returning for future services for sure.

Great service and customer service. They helped me a lot and were fine with explaining the issues my car had without being condescending like some mechanics can be. My only complaint was that they didnt have the best price for what I needed but did inform me of that. Overall I will be going back again in the future.

We've been Dulles Auto customers for over 20 years. Friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful staff. They are HONEST, never try to up-sell, and we can always count on them to complete a job well and on time. Rob was extremely helpful when we were purchasing our teenager a previously owned car. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I've been taking my cars here for 23 years and have never been disappointed in their workmanship or pricing. They give you the ground truth on what needs to get done and advice on what can wait for a bit longer if you need to stretch out the costs. An honest mechanic is a godsend.

These guys are honest and do great work, which is unfortunately a hard combination to find. Not only do they do preventative maintenance on my car without creating or finding unnecessary repairs, but they are my trusted advisors I turn to when I need recommendations for body work. I have used their recommended body shops and been very happy with that work also.
