5 Year Road Hazard Warranty is not worth considering.My two tires got flat by hitting the curb on the side of the road.This is not covered as per this Costco.Also remember that the value of any damaged tires are covered per the current value of the tire only as per the this Costco tire technician.Also the warranty on mileage is not covered if you have not done alignment every six month with evidence.Only thing covered for me when had a nail in tire. Walmart did it once for me for 10$.I experienced all the above three issues and am not satisfied. Loosing respect for Costco.Consider these facts before buying Tires from Costco.This is for customer awareness.

Avoid this place at all costs. Customer service and actual tire service are horrendous. I was not called the day of or day after my scheduled maintenance to inform that my vehicle was ready.When I picked up my vehicle, glue had been left all over my rims. The employees tried to act like this was normal.One of my wheel locks was also lost and they tried to claim it was missing when I dropped off my vehicle. Final touch was that my spare tire has been put on incorrectly.I will never do business here again and will be cancelling my membership.

Today 10 Apr 2024, trying to contact Tire Center over the phone. For 8 times either a male or female picks up and says "THANK YOU FOR CALLING, PLEASE HOLD" and the hold never ends. Maximum I held fir 15 minutes and then lost patience.Pathetic.

Quick and simple process to get a tire fixed. Took about 35-40 mins. Helpful and professional staff. Cons: put on hold twice when calling for an average wait of 10mins for each call.

Great experience here. Arrived 20 mins early to my appointment, and actually got to the counter 4 minutes after my appointment time but they still got me in queue on time. Setting up my appointment a couple days earlier was also a breeze and the people here seem knowledgeable about what they re doing and have fantastic customer service.I have an Audi RS3 with aftermarket 18 wheels and they were good about working with me to make sure they got the tire pressures right since they were different from the stock ones (I m on a square setup). They also did a great job removing my spacers and reinstalling the wheels with my stock bolts which I provided for them. Great work, pretty fast in and out, honestly- came in at 11:40 and got out at 1:30. Installed different size tires from stock and even what I already had on my wheels and did it all cleanly.Not sure what the bad reviews here are all about. Staff seems happy to help and knowledgeable about what they re doing. I ll be back here for rotations and possibly warranty work as well as for my next set of tires.

I did the whole online ordering and two weeks out appointment scheduling. When I got there the online order was incorrect on the clerk system and tires were still on the delivery truck. They took the same tires off the shelf, which meant I could have just walked-in to get it done. Walk-in would have probably been even a shorter wait (took 20 min to sort the online order out). Install was great quality as always.

I had an amazing experience at this tire shop today. I walked in with 2 kids, not knowing nothing about tires since usually my husband takes care of this. The staff was super helpful, front desk ladies were a bomb, they remembered me, they made sure to get me in and out fast since I was with little kids. Then some key was missing and their employee went above and beyond, looking through my car to find the key, talking on the phone with me and my husband to get it sorted out. So much kindness I got there today and it is greatly appreciated as I m sure all of this wasn t part of their jobs and it made all this experience so much easier for me. Thank you guys !

I came in for a tire repair. Joseph asked how bad the leak was. I told him the tire was losing about 2 psi a week. He then asks me, Why even get it fixed, why don t you just fill it with air every week? I cannot trust someone with this kind of attitude. This is the kind of person that cuts corners and does the easy fix rather than the right fix.

The tires are priced well but the service could not be worse. I ve been purchasing from here but will not be any longer. Every time I go in the guys at the service desk are very cold and non communicative. They obviously have no incentive to provide quality customer service. I ve been on hold for over 3 hours by phone to deal with a warranty issue. This experience has clarified for me that in the future I should buy my tires elsewhere.

Which one? I went to 2. Fairfax is understaffed, way behind on customer appointments and they lie to sell you tires. Sterling on the other hand was awesome and I give them a 5.

I believe Costco tire center in Sterling the best. I put in the car to fix flat tire. It is in 1 hour on the day completely reserved for online. I have few walking people car in front of me. Try to go other Costco could cost you 3 or 4 hours. You can fill the tire in 15 minutes. There is no such thing working on the car for 15 minutes. I can put the car in the shop for 15 minutes to do nothing and drive out to give back to the customer. It will be 15 minutes as one of the Customer complaint about it.

Insane lies , scammers, bad and can be called worst. Always a reason to send u back without service. They refused to repair the old costco tires as no proper tire rotation was done on time. So bought all four new tires and got replaced them. When its due for rotation of new tires. I went on time for service and they say tires are overtorqued and cannot be removed for rotation. costco tire center installed the tires in the first place and then they say overtorqued for removal. They asked me buy new lugnuts and visit a repair center and get lug nuts replaced and come back for rotation. No assurance and dignity in their business and bad customer service.

Good prices and offerings, but very high demand (and short staff?) leads to a decline in service quality. If you can, try to schedule an appointment ahead of time, or clear off your calendar.

Had two vehicles that I have had tires installed. Although Costco does offer great prices and ancillary tire service, I m not sure that this shop is worth the hassle. I made an appointment for both installs. First time after two hour wait I returned to discover that they misunderstood that I had an appointment. Had to return another day. Costco offered a $25 coupon for my inconvenience. Coupon never arrived and when I mentioned this fact, my comments were disregarded by all, so I let it go.Second installation on second vehicle a year later wasn t much better. I showed up early for my appointment, told the representative what happened a year before and he assured me that it would be better this time. Although it was marginally better, it took two hours (1:15 promised) for an install. Got home and found that the valve stems that were installed are too short. Not sure yet how difficult adding air to tires is going to be.Costco offers free tire rotation. Sounds easy, right? Not so. Make an appointment and upon arrival they will tell you it will take two (or more) hours to rotate tires. Then, again, not ready after two hours. Ugh. Rotate tires=2 hours. PainfulI won t go back to Costco for tires or for tire service and CERTAINLY not to Sterling, Va. location

Just finished getting four new tires installed on my van. I ordered online it arrived in 2 days, but my only complaint is that I was supposed to receive an email that the tires were in but I never got such email. The service was good, took about an hour and 10 minutes to get the tires put on. Prices are competitive. There was no waiting area aside from a bench that is in the entrance to Costco. Would have just walked around Costco to kill time but I was there before it opened.

Called in the morning to ask about the CrossClimate 2 tires and general questions. Lesley was SUPER HELPFUL, professional, and answered all my questions quickly. And Jefri was the one who rang me up (it was a bit busy). Jefri also also really helpful and answered the questions I had thought of when I was there.

Ordered online for delivery to store and made a reservation for tire install. Went smoothly though took 2 hours including 20 minute wait just to check in. Great tires, good price. Free rotations, lifetime warranty...but check the terms so you keep it valid til the tires wear out on their own.

If i could I would put no stars. I waited 3 hours for my car. I asked about an hour and a half later if my car had been done and the person at the desk said the mechanic hadn't given them the paperwork. I finally got my keys back after another hour. It was sitting at the desk for who knows how long. I was told I would receive a phone call. I did not receive one. I literally was sitting on the bench right by the door on my phone

Today with appointment scheduled I went for tyre rotation/balance etc. I know it takes time roughly an hour to do the job from the time they put the car in the bay. Job was done in an hour, it was printed in the paper but was sitting in mechanic area. Front desk lady told me I will receive a call after the job is done. She never called me. Past 30 min I went to the service desk she said tyre mechanic didn t give me the paperwork, so I didn t call you. It shows so poor care and coordination at this store.I also spoke with the supervisor, he said they need to be educated. This place need proper basic education. And the priority must be given to the customer who made the effort to wait for an appointment and arrive on time. One more thing.. mechanic forgot to put the label for next visit in a little sticker on the top left of the screen. I noticed this just after driving for a few min. I came back and told a mechanic that someone missed to put the sticker for the next visit, he wrote it quickly and I stick it on the screen. I am questioning in my mind, did they really do a good job, tyre rotation etc and didn t miss or forgot any thing ???This is a safety concern and Costco management must review morning and afternoon mechanics work.Some one might get hurt pretty badly for their negligence. We spent good amount of money in tyres as a member for the best product and service but I am not satisfied to recommend this store for any tyre service. They are tying to SHORT CUT. Their ratings 3.5 is very low and comments must be reviewed and improve the basic service, add more training and a regular education will fix the issue. I hope some one from Costco management team will seriously read my notes and work on addressing them. Thank you!!

I called the tire shop ahead of time and asked if they can install my new rims on my car. They said of course. So I drove 45 minutes and when I got their they tell me I have to buy new 4 tires also. Which Is a scam I already have 4 new tires I just wanted my rims changed. It's sad to see that Costco would go this low for a few dollars.

I was on time for my appointment and I was checked-in after 25 mins attending the people ahead of me. I was told it would take around 1 hour and 30 mins and I went to shop inside Costco and came back after an hour and 20 mins approx. I just walked up to the register and inquired about my car, they said it would take 15 more mins. It was totally fine and was waiting for me to be called. It was almost 30 mins and walked up again to check, the person attending me told me 5 minutes as they have a lot of customers that day. Once again 10 mins past, I went to desk and this time, they handed over some other car key and said this is yours.Ultimately I had to wait almost additional 1 hour or so approx. to get back my car. No complains on the tire replacement but the communication , and customer service was pathetic !! I request the management to work on improving the customer service and make our experience better.

Absolute worst tire install experience ever. Made appointment for Non-CostCo purchased tires to be installed a few days later. Was 100% ensures it would be absolutely no problem over the phone. Came in on appointment day, 15 minutes before appointment and didn t speak to anyone until 10 minutes after opening. Was then told that tires could not be mounted. Staff offered no alternative and made no effort to resolve issue at hand of being misinformed.

I came here because I had something in my tire so asked them to patch. Unfortunately they were unavailable to do so as there were 2 objects in close proximity in the tire however they were able to replace the tire for free which was great. The part that isn't so great is it is such a long wait even on a week day afternoon. This Costco location seems to be more crowded than others around the area.

Great value for tires and tire services, not very good customer service. This Costco Tire center in Sterling Virginia always seems to be under staffed. After arriving 15 minutes before our scheduled appointment time we waited 50 minutes in line at the service counter before being served. And this type of wait time is typical at this location...

Had tires under warranty, brought in my car early and they held it all day. Ended up not doing anything with car but saying that it needs a new tire which they ordered. They tell me to call in the next day to follow up with the order, then they say that it ll take up to 7 business days. Then all of a sudden they have my tires in stock. Seems that they cannot keep good customer service and inventory

I changed my tire from Costco 4 months ago and go back to do rotation, after waiting 2 hours and got a call says we can t do it. Because one of your wheel stripes can t take it off and they put all the stripes back on, and I found out there is another stripes is broken(without telling me). I said the last place where touch my tire was here. They said you did your inspection last month. And I brought my inspection and show them. Inspection checked another side of my wheels. And their supervisor answered me: I don t know how to read that inspection!!! We didn t touch any of your wheel. That was piss me off.!!I want to thank you to the Costco manager JB. He helped me solved all the problems.Bye bye to Costco tire center of sterling for forever!

The worst tire installation experience ever. Very unprofessional employees. Don t lie to your customers. If it s going to take a certain wait time then be honest. I was promised a max hour 15 min wait time and waited 2 hrs instead. Your costumers have other priorities based on the time you stated.

Bought tires online and the status showed as shipped, and tracking the delivery showed as delivered. Tried many times to call for them to confirm, but answer. Decided to go and ask in person and realized that phone was ringing and no one was picking the phone. Asked to check and confirm if the tired had arrived and why was not notified, because the confirmation stated"Tire shop will contact you when tires have arrived.", and was told we never call. Left the car and asked that should I come and ask for status or you would call me when the car is ready to pick up, and was told that i would be called and they got my phone number. Waiting for the call for over 3 hours, decided to get there around 7 pm, that time they were closed, but luckily someone was there and they gave me the keys. It seems they twice didn't call to notify, one when tires were delivered and when the car was ready to pickup, that shows they were irresponsible in this case. Previous experience was much better though.

It seems the Costco Tire Center have no relation with Costco. The customer service is pretty bad (even considering it is a automotive shop), especially a employee named Leslie who gave attitude to a women that didn't understand english perfectly (eye rolling and puffs) and when it was my turn I politely asked a question and she repeats in a rude and unprofessional manner. Please Costco, you guys are known for customer service but your tire center staff definitely needs customer service training and a change in attitude.
