Worst experience ever. Customer service was below average, need to improve customer service. Extremely erogant, I won't recommend this place for any service. Some people might have good experience here but it's been second time I am disappointed.

Adam Auto works is a solid, family owned business that predominantly does car maintenance, inspections, and other service.I was recommended by family. Went for a routine (synthetic) oil change. I also had minor car trouble, steering wheel shaking as I drove fast, and wanted to confirm the cause.Parked in lot and presented car keys at the front desk.I chose to wait in, maybe I should not. It took a long time because it was weekend and they had a lineup of customers and cars already in line.After close to 2 hours the synthetic oil change was done.Before that, repair man called me in to garage where my car was hoisted up, and he confirmed that nothing else is wrong with my car, but he peeled back tires and could see the inside was scratched up. Long story short, only tire rotation and 2 new front tires were needed.It was good to have clarification. Overall, a solid local-owned auto shop.

I came for inspection and the office opened up on time they did a good job reparing my car to pass inspection and was fast service . Also office and the shop they work it is very hood and clean i recommend friend's and family to come and do they inspection and repairs here.

I've been going to Adam Auto Works for the past 15 years and have always been treated fairly and professionally. I've come to know the husband and wife team and appreciate their honesty when it comes to not needing services, they are very transparent and just do what the car really needs. Today I witnessed a sad situation in which a lady customer took her Volvo for an inspection but the inspector could not shift the car in gear so it wasn't performed. The lady insulted the owner and even cursed at her which was shameful. We should treat others with respect regardless of the circumstances, that was totally uncalled for. I saw the whole thing transpire and despite understanding the lady's frustration she should not have insulted the owner. Sad situation but otherwise I'm very happy with Adam Auto Works and will continue to bring my fleet of cars for service there. There work is fine. Not really satisfied. Not properly checked my car had to go 3 times for one problem only. Charged way too much money.

Update:Adding this update cos of a wild interaction with another customer here. A woman came in to get a state inspection for her Volvo. There was something wrong with the car and it couldn't be passed. When she was informed of the issue she blew up at the lady behind the counter and verbally abused her before leaving in a huff! Crazy Karen!!! Adam Auto works has always been professional, courteous, and over all HONEST. Some people just can't be pleased!Previous review:I've been going to them for about 5 years now. I feel like I know these folks personally. I go here for their honest service. They will try to save you money where ever possible. These folks have integrity - need I say more? I trust all my car repairs to them.

Excellent customer service, extremely fair pricing, and great auto work, very honest staff and only repair what is needed. I have been a customer since 2016 and never had any issues dealing with the shop. They are always ready and willing to answer any questions and concerns. I will gladly return for service in the future.I would recommend this business to everyone without hesitation.

Binish, her husband and entire staff are absolutely wonderful, courteous, thorough and fair in all of their dealings. I ve been going to Adam s Auto Works for several years for a variety of work (inspections, emissions, oil changes, etc) and without fail they have been to accommodate my needs on a timely and professional basis. I was trying to get a state inspection on my Harley. All of the shops near me could not accommodate unless I dropped it off. Stopped in to Gemini Cycle and they directed me to Adam. In and out in 10 minutes. Haven't had any work done there, but now would definitely consider them for my cars. Nice people too.

We have been going to Adam Auto Works since the past 3 years. Through the years, we have found them to be honest, reasonably priced, and thorough. The work has been done correctly the first time. The turnaround on the cars has also been very timely. If there is a delay, we have been told promptly and the reason why (usually a part has not been available or running late from the parts store). There have been times when they have tried to fix a problem, could not because it was something the dealer had to do (air bag related), and returned the car to us without charge. This has happened several times. I would recommend this business to everyone without hesitation.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

Super honest and will make repairs as needed! No worry about being taken advantage of. I used to worry about going to other places as a young woman but they are very relaxed and the current manager is a very knowledgeable woman as well so need to be nervous! They tell you what the issues are as they are with no gimmicks or upcharges. They will make sure to resolve your vehicle s issues and get you back to the road! Definitely recommend.

The most honest mechanic shop with extraordinary service and results. There turned me away many a time over ten years when I've requested service I don't actually need. I am grateful for how they run their business, loyal for as long as they're standing, and hope that's forever. A rare treasure to find these days.

Excellent customer service, extremely fair pricing, and great auto work!I have been going to Adam Auto Works for 3 years now and I can honestly say every experience has been smooth and worry-free. I never feel like I'm getting ripped off or taken advantage of - which seems so rare in this industry! I would highly, highly recommend.

Great shop and really unbeatable prices. They checked my car when it wad making a noise and showed me the issue free of charge. Then quoted me a very competitive price for my brakes. Solid customer service and pricing. Can't beat this place.

If you're like me and don't like anyone, but professionals go anywhere near your car THEN YOU HAVE TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT WITH ADAM AUTO WORKS.From the first initial phone call to bringing the car in, I was impressed. The previous management and the current management team and crew are knowledgeable and very professional from start to finish. The current management continues to carry over the same legacy, professionalism, service and pride. They are always ready and willing to answer any questions and concerns. I will gladly return for service in the future for my Lexus RX450, Honda Accord, Nissan Altima and Toyota Highlander.

Very Honest People, State Inspection, they don't try to find things to rip you off. Very good mechanics, I go there for all my maintenance and repair.Lady at front desk really tries to get you in and out knowing people have to get back to work, very good service.

Trustworthy and honest people. Had taken my civic over for a check-engine light, which was supposedly caused due to a faulty spark plug. The guy Jameel, set it right and didn't even charge me anything as it was a minor problem. Would recommend them for sure.

Never coming back to this place.I called at 4:30pm asking if they could do an inspection on my semitruck; they said they would do it if I got there by 5:30. I drove from Lorton and got there at 5:32 they refused to do it and claimed they close at 5:30. The sign at the door indicates they are open till 6:00pm. I told them I called before going and all of that, but they were unreasonable and the tec. had a hostile attitude. Think twice before doing business with this people.

I would highly recommend Adam auto for all your auto repair needs. If have a 2004 Jeep Liberty and an Acura TSX which I have been taking there for the last 10 years. They provide high quality service for a very reasonable price.

Unfortunately, I had the experience of going to this shop. It was one of the worst customer service experiences that I encountered for the past 15 years. I don't recommend and warn people to go to this place. The owner was not upfront with the disclaimers and blamed the provided parts for the issue that was brought up without even examining the issue beforehand. All he had to do was to listen and examine before any responds to my concern. What makes it even worse is the way he handled the criticism. The owner handled a simple issue/concern/question totally unprofessionally and not even close to a standard you expect from a business in this time and age.

I have been taking my car to Jamil for the last 10 years. I personally reffered and know a lot of my co workers who also trust their cars with him.He is honest, trustworthy and the rest of the crew are very professional too.

Great shop, I have been to couple of other auto repair shop but this is the best place with the best price and service. They will show you the problem and work with you with the price too. I have not gone to any other shop after being here!

My rear calipers were frozen on my 2014 VW Jetta and had received a $1700 quote from another shop. I took it to Adams Auto Works and they replaced my rear and front rotors and brake pads + reset the pins and pistons in my calipers in less than 24 hours for more than a $1000 less. The lady also mentioned she should've charged more since they did a bit more work but because she had already quoted me, she kept her word. I'd 100% recommend them!

I walked in to see if they had availability to do my Virginia safety inspection. They ask me the make and model of my vehicle and when they realized it was an older vehicle they told me they had no more stickers left. I left and called from my car and asked if they had an appointment to get a safety inspection done and I lied and said I had a newer vehicle. And of course wouldn't you know they had a sticker available.This is exactly why I try avoid going there, but I was pressed for time and thought I would try one last time.

Service providers beware! We were called to come service their lifts and they refused to pay service fee, after being told on the phone there would be a fee. Not a good way to do business! They waited until after we had given them a quote to repair before disputing the service fee. Will never do business with them again!!
