I dont mind paying people for the work and time they invest but when I feel totally taken advantage of I need to say something. I went to complete auto repair to have a brake caliper, which I had already purchased elsewhere, put on the front of my car. Having helped a friend with the replacement of the other side caliper and line not 2 yrs ago in my own driveway using a bottle jack and no impact wrench or anything else that a garage has to make the task even less diffiult and faster, I knew that its not a big job or take very long. So I was very upset to go back to pick up my vehicle and be given a bill for $207! I was charged almost $50 for a 20 dollar brake line and then an hour or labor. Seems unfair to me. Learned my lesson and will never go back and will make sure to spread the word about my experience.

1 August 2019 - I was passing through the area when my 1985 Vanagon's brakes started acting up. Keith got me in basically right away once he knew I wasn't local. (I had no expectation for this, as the shop seemed very busy.) He had the brakes and a few other things sorted out in just a couple hours. Some of the best service I've seen! And to top it off, I felt like I left with a new best friend, ha. Great guy, great service, and fair prices. Can't ask for anything more!

I would give this place 6 stars if I could! My alternator went out two hours into my 20+ hour move with my family. They originally said they wouldn't be able to get me in until the next day, but when I explained our situation, they got it done in 2 hours! Not only that, one of them gave us a ride to a local park so my kid wouldn't be bored while they were working on it! When the job was done, they picked us up, beat their original estimate, and gave my kid a toy before sending us on our way! Made me wish I was a local so that I could keep taking my vehicle there! Best experience with a mechanic that I've ever had!

I own a 1989 VW Vanagon. Complete Auto Repair & Sales works on these. I live 400 miles away. They began and finished work on my van when promised. There work was excellent. Being a Eurovan owner means regular maintenance. Keith is the only person I trust to work on my antique machine. He is knowledgeable and affordable. I highly recommend Complete Auto if you need your VW serviced

Keith and his team rebuilt the transmission of my 2000 camaro SS. It had blown the slave cylinder and sent pieces of that into the fluid in the trans.He is a true car guy who gives great service. Check him out and get your car running right.

Took my 91 vanagon syncro and 89 vanagon syncro to Keith at Complete Auto Care (Valley Westys). He does great work. His prices are so much better than in Northern Virginia (I drive 2 hours each way to have him work on my vans). If he can do such great work on these old finicky vans I can only imagine what he can do on the newer vehicles.

The service is friendly and helpful and fast. Did not push any unnecessary work. We were having trouble with our transmission overheating as we pulled our camper to a festival further south. It was close to closing so gave us an appointment the next day. Gave our emergency repair priority. did the simplest and most directly needed work first (flushed the transmission 2x as it was really dirty). Got a part that would improve towinv and help keep transmission cool, enhancing vehicle's towing ability. And have us back on the road early afternoon. Offered ride into town for sightseeing instead of hangingg around shop.

Amazing service! I have been to almost every mechanic in Staunton. Every Mechanic I've been had told me that they could not find the problem to my car or tried getting me to spend thousands of dollars. I stumbled by this place on accident. He was so patient and managed to fix my problem and come to find out it was a tiny fix of only 30$ if I ever have anymore problems I am definitely going here!!! Absolutely wonderful service!!!

Took my subaru to replace rear end that had been destroyed by a shady mechanic they found other issues I would not have found and not only repaired it in a timely manner but a very fair price highly recommend this business Keith and employees do excellent work and take care of the customer
