Told me a piece came in broken and his solution was gluing the part first. Matt told me he would reorder the part and call me when it came in. I tried calling two weeks later and Matt said he forgot to order the part. I've tried several times since then, left messages multiple times and he doesn't respond or answer the phone. Unfortunately, he was already paid for the job.Service: Body & Trim

My car took three times as long as quoted. In fact I m still waiting for a part to finish it. The paint is a different color than the rest of the car. He does not return phone calls or keep his word. The damage to my car occurred in October and it s mid February and we are still waiting. Don t pay these people until you re completely satisfied, because once they are paid you can never reach them again.

Will never deal with this so called business again. Said he can fix car within 6 weeks. Never called us for updates we had to track him down. So many lies and broken promises. 6 months later, insurance finally said no more. Clyde's claimed car was now ready received car back. This was a new car and he was told it should look new when done. It was horrible, alot wasn't fixed , screws coming through body, scratches on brand new wheel, parts that was paid for never put on, other parts that were needed just was never replaced. Insurance said to take it somewhere else. Which we did and in the end they ended up just totally the car. Due to cost trying to fix his mess ups n fix what wasn't done.Contacted Clyde's alot over issues and it was like no concern.Services: Tires, Painting, Body & Trim, Welding

I understand life and things happen. But this guy had my vehicle for 2 months and no estimate, no communication and I ended up taking it elsewhere. Another towing bill. I gave him one more chance to look at it and made him promise me and give me his word I would have the repair costs by Monday. Monday came and went and nothing. He admits he won't answer the phone, so I had to take off from work to go there and visit his shop to see what was up.I am sure he does good work for other people, but not for me. Until he gets things straightened out in his personal life, I would steer clear from using him.Service: Body & Trim

I did not use this business yet but I will in future. I called about a paint job and a wrap on my tailgate. The guy was very detailed on how should do wrap if do myself and was explaining to me about paint job on truck if have it done. Very professional and helpful. Thank you for your help !!!

A few weeks ago I made a post, a little tongue-in-cheek perhaps, about how I was glad that I was driving my own car again, rather than rentals, and I might have jinxed myself, because I just backed into some structure at the gas station, and the rightmost part of the back bumper was torn and pushed in.At first it was scraping against the tire, but I was able to push it back a little. My primary worry was that I would draw attention from some cop who would use the glaringly obvious damage as an excuse to pull me over, and I was starting to think about how much it might cost to fix when, a few hundred metres down from the station, I noticed Clyde's Custom Auto Body.The owner, Matt I think, was able to use a crowbar to pull the bumper back from behind the frame, where it was stuck, and then a blowtorch to soften the misshaped plastic enough to pop it back into the shape. Once that was done, he was able to pop the clip back into the holes, and he says that it will hold.Just $50 for the emergency repair, more than a fair deal, a far cry from what surely would have happened had this been a rental car. I'm sure they would have just replaced the bumper, and I'd have been out well over $500, maybe closer to $1000. Heck, I suspect that most larger shops, in a big city, would have tried to foist more repairs or part replacements on me, but Matt gave me exactly what I needed, at the right price.

Hour drive to get a damage estimate from this guy. He took a quick look at damage with just a verbal quote to repair. He never followed up on locating parts and never answered repeated calls. Doesn't seem interested in repairing anything. Save time - look for another shop.

Just picked up my car at Clyde's. They did a great job, very honest and reasonable. It was ready when they said it would be. Good people to do business with, would never go any place else.
