Blake was extremely professional and informed me on what I needed to keep my Jetta up to date on its service schedule. I really appreciate the fact that he gave me an accurate timeline on picking up my vehicle so i could plan my day accordingly. He is the best service representative that I have encountered out of the four years I have been coming to Sheehy Volkswagen.

Avoid this dealership for any maintenance needs. I went there yesterday because my Taos 2023 had notifications indicating that I needed to have the coolant oil in my radiator checked. They were the closest dealership to me at the time.Since my car is new and should be covered by warranty, the salesperson showed me a paper with a charge of around $200. I asked why I needed to pay, and they assured me that I just needed to sign it and they would take care of the warranty. However, today they called me and claimed that I had to pay $384 for the radiator because it was not covered under warranty, plus an additional $200 for their time. Keep in mind that my car is a brand new 2023 Taos!I felt deceived and expressed my dissatisfaction to them. The lesson I learned from this experience is to never trust this place and to never bring my car here again. Instead, I recommend calling someone you know well or going to the dealership that sold you the car.

I've been leasing/ buying VWs in the DC metro area for about 15 years from various dealerships, and this has been by far my best experience yet (Springfield Sheehy). The showroom was clean, sleek and modern and the lot was full of all types/colors to choose from. Worked closely with David C (thank you so much Dave!!!)... such a nice guy, professional, courteous, not at all pushy and best of all, completely transparent and straightforward. Everything about this particular trade-in and lease was clear, more than fair, and timely. I highly recommend this particular VW outfit and again, a huge thank you to David!

I can honestly say I have never had such a wonderful experience at a car dealership. I purchased a vehicle from David Cox today, and I can assure you I ll be a lifelong customer of Sheehy VW (even living several hours away). David was so helpful throughout the entire process, always communicative and friendly! When I arrived to my appointment, the car had been perfectly detailed and was ready to take home. My paperwork was organized and ready for completion upon arrive so I could complete the process quickly. Everyone at the dealership was so kind and made the process seamless. I cannot recommend this dealership enough!!!

Everyone we came in contact with during our visit was very friendly, however, I was under the impression that my car came with a power lift. Atlas SE is a huge car and I am slightly under 5,4 in height and it s pretty difficult and heavy to manually close trunk. I guess with the powerlifting symbol on the key, it was assumed it came standard. If sales associate was proactive, we could have made a decision on an upgraded version SE with technology. Again sales associate was and is very nice as we went back and he informed us about how costly it will be to trade in for the SE w/technology and researched places to get and install power lift, Car toys which is hours away from us. He apologized if he unintentionally mislead us and I believe him although I m disappointed.

I have been taking my 2018 VW Golf to Sheehy for about 3 or 4 years now. I wish I had started taking my car here sooner! Erin Anderson is my favorite. I really like working with everyone in the service department at Sheehy Springfield, but Erin is the best. She is professional, kind, respectful and I am always looking forward to seeing her when I take my car in annually. The online appointment scheduler is easy to navigate; Erin helps me understand what needs to be done to my car in a professional and caring manner and I just appreciate that she likes her job so much to continue to work at Sheehy. I've had horrible experiences at other dealerships where service team members don't stay from year to year, but I recognize team members who are still at Sheehy and still love their jobs. I can't thank Sheehy enough for making me feel like a valued customer and person!

This review is specific to the service department. Overall excellent experience. Making an appointment is easy through the Sheehy VW site with convenient times.The service department is well run and efficient. They get you in go over the services and will communicate quickly on status and findings. I waited in the customer area which allowed me to work in a clean and open environment. Price is reasonable and everything was done as promised and on time.Erin Anderson the service coordinator is always professional and courteous. Great customer service person.

Hassan Vanessa and Cash were amazing from helping me navigate the uncomfortableness about the combining car process but just really following through with what they said and even when I wanted to walk away they gave me patience and approach differently to offer a solutions to get me in a brand new car without feeling pressured. I literally walked in the dealership just purchased some accessories for my desk at work and decided to go take a look at the showroom for where I met Hassan who approached calmly. I just asked a few questions and I had zero intentions because of a previous interaction with another dealership of buying a car. I hate the way they make me feel when I go to places to talk serious business, especially purchasing a vehicle, Hassan and Cash made the deal seamless and made me feel great about my process even when I struggle with making the correct decision. Then, when I went to finance with Vanessa, she explained everything overcome my objections, and made me feel 100% at home.

The best customer service you will ever had in a dealership, no wasting time and so helpful.I got the offer for VW Tiguan 2024 with only 1% APR for 60 months, Fred the salesman was super helpful and he s paying attention for every single detail, Jorge the finance officer was so kind and so professional with finishing the paperwork and working hard to give you what you are looking for.I wasted many days with other dealerships with no result, I went to Sheehy and trade in my car and got the new one within 4 hours.If I decide to have a new car, I will never hesitate to go there.Sheehy, I m sorry, I cannot give you more than 5 stars.

Blake Turner in the service center is the absolute BEST! He does an excellent job taking care of you and goes above and beyond to ensure that all your concerns are addressed. He advocated on our behalf to ensure our car was ready for our cross country move when we needed last minute repairs. We can t thank him enough for all he did for us! While I love my new Tiguan purchases in February, I still do not have my MD tags yet. No one answers the phone when I call. I hope someone can do something about the missing staff and investigate why it is taking 3 months or more to get my title and tags. I'm on the 3rd set of temporary tags, this is ridiculous!!

I was nervous about the process of buying a new car. Any fear or concern I had quickly faded when I met Riadh. He was personable and professional. The whole car buying experience from beginning to end was so smooth, no pushy sales tricks, just straight up focus on ensuring the customer got what they wanted. He walked me through available incentives, and clearly explained payments and plans available. Once I finished with the Finance Manager, Vanessa, who was also delightfully knowledgeable, he took the time to walk me through all the car features. I have been a loyal customer of Sheehy VW Springfield for 10 years and have recommended them for car services, I'll now double down and recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a new car. Jonathan Rivera was our salesman. I want to start out by saying if you need someone to work with, he is the man. I drove over 1 1/2hrs to look at a vehicle me and my wife were interested in. I mentioned to him our situation and we would be there literally on the last hour of the day (due to the drive ). He didn t hesitate and told us he would wait for us . And he never rushed us during the process, he was very transparent with everything and over all very polite. Highly recommend him if anyone is ever interested in looking for a used or new vehicle!

Erin is always great to work with - she is straightforward but also friendly which is a rare find. I usually wait while service is being done and the time estimate given is always accurate and I've always felt like the work completed is done well and I'm not being taken for a ride with superfulous service, particularly since I am a single woman.

I purchased a 2012 VW GTI from them. The purchase experience was great. If that was my only experience with them they would have had a 5-star rating.Ever since that purchase experience I have had a near-zero level of satisfaction with them. Their service department does not seem to care about customer service. I've had multiple issues with them over the years. Most recently here are the facts of what happened.The GTI started running rough. I scanned the codes, saw that there was misfires, and the intake manifold position sensor was reading errors (P2015 Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor /Switch Range/Performance Bank 1 ). Some quick research showed that VW knows that this is an issue, they extended the warranty on this part to be 10 yrs 120k miles. I was over the 10 year mark, but many people had received goodwill warranty coverage past the 10 year mark. I called Sheehy and asked for a quote for a replacement manifold. They said they don't give out quotes before they scan the codes themselves. I wanted a quote before I brought it in so I'd know how much to expect to pay.Regardless of the lack of quote, I took it in, and Sheehy quoted me $2100 to $2600 to get it done, depending on if I decided to do the carbon cleaning. I called around to a handful of other shops in the area and they all quoted me $900-$1200. Sheehy also wanted to charge me over $200 to scan the same code I already knew about, and already knew what needed to be fixed.I asked them to call VW to see if VW would cover the part. They did so, and said that VW was unwilling to cover the repair. I mentioned that I've had other vehicle manufacturers preemptively replace parts that were known to be bad, and have covered parts long past warranty if the part was known to be bad. The service writer responded with a very disrespectful "So you want me to change your spark plugs because you know they are going to go bad?" That lack of good-faith response lets you know all you need about their level of customer service. That level of disrespect is built into nearly every conversation I've had with them over the years.I was able to get my car back without paying for their diagnostic fee, thankfully. I towed my GTI to another shop and they were able to replace the intake manifold with VW OEM parts and do a carbon cleaning for $1400. The shop I took it to is a well respected shop who had a Porsche 911 GT3, multiple M3, M4, M5, and M6s in the parking lot, and run multiple race cars in the Rolex racecar series, with each car being worth well over $250,000. I say this just to note that this isn't some back-alley hack who does sub-par work. $1400 was at a shop known for charging a LOT of money for the quality work that they do.Long story short, until they change their attitude towards customer service I'd avoid this location at all costs. It's not worth the cost or level of disrespect you'll receive.

My husband and I had a great experience with the Sales Manager David Cox. He came off very genuine and not at all pushy. We didn't necessarily plan to buy that day, but working with David was easy so we did buy a 2022 Tiguan for our teen daughter after he told us a personal story about the vehicle's safety. Fast forward a few weeks and there's a strong smell of gasoline. My husband takes it to the service center and they tell him that there's a knick in the gas tank that could have been caused by road debris and he needs to call insurance to have it fixed. He was not satisfied with this and got a second opinion where we were told that it's the O-ring. This particular mechanic says he's had several VWs come in with leaks from the O-ring and mentioned that there was a recall on it a few years back. There's been some back and forth with Sheehy VW of Springfield and my husband regarding this, in which they insist we pay for repairs, with a discount, if we plan to keep the vehicle.Thing is, we were sold on a vehicle's safety and now we are being told that simple road debris could damage (and continue to damage because we drive in DC) the fuel tank and possibly endanger my daughter. Is the tank made of butter? What other buttery soft parts sit in the undercarriage? Everyone I've mentioned this too says they've never heard such a thing.Considering we just purchased the vehicle a few weeks prior, had the service department stood behind the safety and quality of the vehicle and said they'll take care of it, I would have been satisfied; but their insistence that our everyday driving caused this damage and therefore we are responsible for the repair, made a 5 second issue a 5 hour problem. As a result, my experience at Sheehy, and Volkswagen, has been sullied. I've had the car now for 3 months -- I hate it so I drive my older vehicle, it smells of gasoline, our daughter is afraid to drive it, I'm looking to sell it, I don't want to work with Sheehy again, and I won't buy another Volkswagen. I really planned on getting the Atlas later this year too but now I have no faith in Sheehy or VW after this experience.

I purchased my Volkswagen Jetta( which I love by the way) from Sheehy Springfield. My salesman David Cox was amazing from inquiry to literally driving my car off the lot. I didn t feel pressured, he made me very comfortable. I appreciate the time he took to walk me through the process. I would recommend him to ANYBODY!!! He was kind, did not rush me, and was very attentive. I also had a great experience with Aras he just didn t throw warranties at me we got the ones I really wanted and needed. The whole experience was amazing, and who would think that buying a car lol. Thankful and Grateful.

This was, by far, the greatest experience my husband or I have ever had purchasing a car. David Cox was very attentive, knowledgeable, and authentic throughout the entire process. He is not your typical sales consultant - he listened to all of our questions and desires, informed us on all aspects of the the models we were interested in, and genuinely wanted us to leave with the car we had dreamed of buying. Leon was simply incredible. I had a bad experience with another Volkswagen dealership and he was the opposite. He and I talked about budget and he was honest and detailed about the needs of my car. He provided a courtesy car which later proved essential as our family had a medical emergency. Cannot say enough about Leon your service desk staff.

Very disappointed in the team here. We came in 15mins before closing and had a few questions on the atlas and NO ONE came to speak to us or even acknowledged that we were there. The two salesmen didn t look up for 10mins as we looked at a car, thinking one would come up to us. When they did see us, they still did not come over and had smug looks on their face. So disappointing. Why would I want to buy from a place that doesn t want my business? Another Volkswagen who has customer service will get my business!

Shout out to all the service team members that work at the service desk. What I do want to complain about the slow and incompetent service technicians that work in the back three hours of waiting time after requesting an oil change, wiper blade replacement and wheel alignment. They were only able to get the oil filter and the wiper blades done. And now I gotta come back tomorrow and waste another day.

Customer service was great. However, its unfortunate that the breaks on our 2022 Atlas squeak so LOUD. We paid so much money for the SUV to experience this issue. We had them serviced so many times and there's no fix. Now I have to buy new rotors and breaks to solve the problem. Was considering buying a VW Golf but after this no longer interested.
