I ordered one tire on December 30. I was told that I would receive a call when it came in the store. I called on Jan 9th to check on the tire. It arrived on Jan 3rd and no one called. So I scheduled an appointment and, the soonest they could get me in was 4:30p on Jan 15. Dropped off my truck at 4:30p and, it was not even in the back till 5:30 and it took them nearly an hour to put on ONE TIRE! When I got my truck back, I noticed that my center cap for my rim was not on and sitting on my passenger seat, broken! I took it back in to tell them that they broke my center cap and the excuse I received was that it was an old cap. That s my experience, not a great one in my eyes. I will be looking for a new tire shop.

Great folks. Took us in, sold us and installed new tires right away. No appointment needed. Didn t have to wait half a day. They did it all in less than an one hour.

Have the worst visit at Costco tire center, so I order 4 tires on the 4th, make a appointment for tires installment on 16th, the day I went in front desk say I was missing a tire and it only been 8 business day, you have to wait btw 7-10 business, and today is the 10th business day I check the shipping and tracking, notice he lie to me, the tracking show all 4 tires was delivered at 5th from baltimore same day. Sooo where my last tire went, feel if they want to use my tire that I pre order at least replace asap, not when customer want to install wouldn t be there, just feel angry and sad how they treat their customer

Called at 8:03. Because my tire is flat and I needed to get a tire change. They were very unprofessional when answering, put me on hold and hung up the phone. I called again an hour later, because I assumed I called too early and gave them time to get ready. Who ever answered the phone the second time had a very unprofessional tone and sound like he didn t care at all. I never had this problem with any other Costco tire center till this on.

Not sure with these comments on here oh they are nice, they are professional taking care of me and etc.) It feels like they are here for another paycheck but somehow they forget where they work as customer service. Especially Mr. Will S, he acted like he had a bad sleep last night when meeting me at 8am for a tire service. If you are not a morning person Mr. Will, you might have to take another later shift or get another night job.Not only scratched my brand new wheels when replacing tires, but also lazy attitude early in the morning.Somehow Mr. Will ruins the face of a wonderful Costco shopping experience. Please correct his actions Costco.

Had a scheduled tire rotation at noon. At 1:20 pm I was told they were backing it out of the garage but that I had to wait at the desk for the key. 50 minutes later I complained again and they found the key. When I went out to my car it was unlocked and running. No idea if it had been running for the full 50 minutes. Service at this location is awful.

I had a great experience getting tires at the Springfield Costco. Will was AMAZING. Great guy who is very busy and always running around. He needs a raise people. I ordered my tires on my app and they were in 3 days later. I was thrilled with the amount of time that it took to get the tires and because my car failed inspection. You only have 10 days after failing an inspection and I was concerned, I wouldn t make the timeline. Everyone that answered the phone up there was a will really was phenomenal. I hope his bosses know what a great with customers. It can be a tad bit confusing being there but he answered every question w a knowledgeable answer and was so patient w every customer waiting for him. Check-in was easy once Will actually got to the desk, my car had 4 new tires installed and was waiting for me. Again, of course Will was rushing running back-and-forth since he was the only one behind the desk but after a short wait I was checked out and informed what to do and not do in next few days/week. All in all, a pleasant experience because of Will.

Took half a day to mount 4 tires after I made an appointment and they said it would take 90 minutes. They promised they would call if it was going to take longer than 90 minutes so I could adjust my day and never did. I m sure the crew is working hard but customer service is not high on their list. Basically had to take a day of vacation from work to sit on a curb and wait for them to turn my car back over. I ll never buy or service my car here again.

I had the best experience there. I actually was stuck on the road and called in. I knew I would have to make an appointment but when I explained the situation. The took me in the same day. Told me to leave it. They fixed it within the hour. The manager was great. I think his name was Tee. Great service.

I had my truck serviced in January 2023 for a tire rotation and balance with no issues. Now in May 2023 I was told the same truck could not be serviced because I didn t have a special wheel lock.Will and Thomas were more interested in saying that the truck can t be serviced without the wheel lock after I was originally told that there would be no problem.

I normally don't take my time to write reviews but this one was a bit concerning. Took my vehicle to get my Costco purchased tires rotated as a walk in customer as soon as they opened on a Saturday at 8:00am which was actually recommended by a Costco tire specialist since it's a minor service.I understand I did not have an appointment but if they are understaffed and/or overwhelmed, don't take walk in customers and hold their vehicles and say that they might not get to it and might have to come back another day. After a couple of times of following up every 3-4 hours courteously, I spoke to a supervisor on duty towards close of business who sounded very rushed and annoyed that I was even requesting to even speak to him.Thankfully, I was able to get my car back right before they closed but was advised in the final invoice that ALL of my lug nuts are 'rough' and may need to get a new hub assembly (the part that the lug nuts and tire connects to). Not only was this a bit concerning, but definitely just makes one wonder, that if you follow up as a walk in customer several times that your service may or may not be professional service.Food for thought:Schedule an appointment and even though Costco welcomes walk in customers, proceed with caution and the upmost patience.

Mr. Cruz at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. It was clear that he took great pride in his work and sincerely cared about what was best for me and my vehicle. His honesty and transparency was very welcome to a non-specialist, and professionals like him are a reason my family and I trust Costco with our vehicles. Give Mr. Cruz a raise and promotion!

Good service. They do what ever they can to help me finding my car tires online and order them. A couple of days later, they give me a call letting me know the tires delivered. Just one thing, I'd recommend to keep the air valve caps before drop the vehicle, otherwise they'd be lost (or replaced.)

Great experience for us. We went there to change a tire. The person at the desk was so helpful. He made recommendations and helped us with the decision. He wasn't pushy like other mechanics. It was also quick! And another thing, it was easy to get an appointment here compared with other costco tires. And they do follow your appointment whereas in other Costco locations i.e. Costco Richmond Hway, they tell you a specific time but they don't follow through.

Will who is the manager at the Springfield Costco tire center is great / wonderful ! He was very caring and helpful with us we needed a tire repaired last minute and he help we us to get the tire fix when we only came an hour before they were closing. Will is a kind a guy who loves what he does and cares about the customers very well. Thank you Will for everything!

I was not sure what to expect. I had some 275/30r20(s) mounted on my Audi today and was very impressed by the quality of their work. It wasn't fast, but I asked them to take their time because the wheels were brand new. The tire installation manager and staff were patient, professional, and honest. I ll be using and this Costco tire center for all my tire needs moving forward.

I scheduled a 3:00pm appointment in order to have a tire plugged. I arrived 10 minutes early to properly check-in. However, there was a line of 5 customers ahead of me and only one representative providing service.15 minutes later I approached the counter only to be interrupted by a phone call (on speaker) of a customer complaining about a flat tire from her service.I was told that the work would take 45-60 minutes. After indulging in far too much frozen yogurt, I realized that my hour was up. I departed the food court only to recognize that my vehicle still remained in the parking lot with the service number on top.I continued to wait outside of the store until my vehicle was taken into the bay. I watched from the seats that directly look into the shop and saw little to no urgency.I grew slightly alarmed as a individual brought his car back and stated that his lug nuts were not tightened..After almost exactly two hours I received my vehicle.The work seems to be adequate but the service was terrible. Bottom line - your appointment time does not matter. I hope that the Toyota owner next to my vehicle (whose care remained untouched for an hour) is not stranded overnight.One star for the work (fingers crossed from the complaints) the second for the frozen yogurt!

Another reason for a Costco membership - their prices for tires are super competitive (especially if you know what you're looking for) and frankly you can't beat their installation fees and stuff. Service is as fast and efficient, and the front desk staff are friendly. And bonus points that they do nitrogen for tires, which imho, is way more convenient and easier in terms of car maintenance.Notice some reviews complain that the there's a strange strong smell inside the lobby area. It doesn't bother me one bit, probably because I grew up with relatives who were mechanics so I actually got used to/enjoy the smell of a garage. The lobby area is small, but you know, if that's the tradeoff for the efficient service and reasonable costs....not gonna complain.Strongly advise on using their online booking system to schedule appointments because this place gets super busy. And if can avoid it, try scheduling things on the weekdays because this Costco can get bonkers with the traffic. Though if you have the Costco membership, you can technically kill time by dropping off your car, and while that's getting worked on, get some shopping done inside and enjoy some cheap food at the food court.

I purchased 4 brand new Michelin CrossClimate 2 for my 2018 Toyota Camry and had a nail in the sidewall. I purchased them less than 3 months with less than 1.5k miles. The tech mentioned it would be around $11. When I wen to pay, it was $74. They then told me that they had to order the tire and would be in shop by end of day. Needless to say, after I called back to check up on my order, they said they would not have the tire on hand until a week later; this is standard times when ordering a tire.Not good for traveling right before the Labor Day weekend.Not great service either.

Costco does an excellent job for tire service. The people are always helpful and not pushy about the tires they sell. One thing to be aware of for this location and maybe others: they do walk-in service from opening until 10am, after which it's appointment only.

Costco Tire Center, Springfield, Virginia location - DON T BITE OFF MORE THAN YOU CAN CHEW -I waited five (yep, 5) hours to have 4 tires installed then found out because I was a walk-in customer, after I was told it would take about 1.5 hours. Springfield, Virginia Tire Center location is extremely overworked and completely disorganized. Here are a few suggestions for the this location supervisor/manager: Prioritize your workforce into Team. For example:Team 1: supporting customers with appointmentTeam 2: supporting walk-in customersTeam 3: supporting customers with minor issues such as tire air pressure, tightened up nuts and bolts, etc..Sincerely,

Great job! I went to get my 4 set of tires installed. I drop off my car but I forgot I left $300 cash in my wallet on the console cup. After couple of hours. I went back to pickup my car. My wallet and cash are still there. Hat off to the tires Tech and for being honest. Thank you!

Last week I set an appointment for this Wednesday at 4 PM. Was told it might take up to an hour and a half if there were a few cars in front of me. I said that was fine, I could always go shopping in the main store and come back no problem.Then when I arrived, I was told it would take till 7:30 to 8 PM to finish it.... I asked how many cars were in front of me and they said there were 7.WHAT IS THE POINT OF MAKING AN APPOINTMENT IF THEY WON'T EVEN HONOR THAT.I was also upset when I realized I was given false information. I then called people who have worked with other Costcos when getting tire services and said it happens ALL of the time to them and its really frustrating.I took off of work for this appointment. I lost money from work to get to this appointment. and thought it would take less than 2 hours and because I don't live close enough (it is closer to work but by the time I would have gotten back to work it would have been closed), there was no way Id have someone to come get me or and UBER would have been too expensive since I already took off of work for it and would have spent money for the service... I wanted to use Costcos service to get that lower price and give them my business because I love the rest of the company.This was ridiculous. 4 hours for an appointment that should take an hour...I spoke with Tommy I think he name was. He was very polite though. But the bay area sounded VERY QUIET and like there weren't many employees there.Still... why aren't your appointments priority? I am taking my business elsewhere.

First class experience from the manager Aaron and his crew. Got the runaround from my local Costco where I was being charged for a new tire that went bad. Aaron and his staff took the time to work through the situation and were able to replace the bad tire at no cost due to the warranty. This Costco may be out of my way, but I will only be bringing my car here from now on.

Not sure why there are negative reviews...First off, you can't beat Costco prices. Second, they were friendly, Third, they were fast (in and out in an hour, on a Sunday no less!) Fourth and finally, the tires look great and the car is running smooth.

Terrible, it took two weeks for the tires to arrive and then when i called to make an appointment i was told they are booked ten days in advance. Then i was told they only do afternoon appointments, which was a lie because i had my wife's tires installed a couple of months prior with a 9am appointment. I was told i can walk in and it might not be done until the next day. Bottom line prices are not much cheaper than other places, customer service sucks. But if your time doesn't have any worth, then this place is for you.
