Capital Car Cate to the rescue again! It appears some rodents made a meal of my electrical wiring this time. Issue was diagnosed immediately and repaired in no time! The even fed and entertained me while my car was being repaired! What a great trustworthy place. I bring all my vehicles here for service. Never had a bad experience. The customer service is wonderful, the mechanics are knowledgeable and I will not go anywhere else. If you are on the outlook for a reliable and honest garage for your car needs look no further! For someone who spent months sifting through multiple mechanics, I have to say Capital Car Care was the best experience I have ever had and will be going there to service all three of my cars! The pricing is very fair and they're transparent for what repairs your car needs and if there are any issues you should address. The wait isn't long, but If you do need to wait there is a nice shopping plaza right around the corner! I wanted to give a HUGE shoutout to Lauren and the team at Capital Car Care!In a nearby parking lot, my car got stuck on one of those parking blocks and my front splash shield panel came undone... dragging on the pavement. I was in a panic since I had run a half mile just to get to Capital Car Care. When I got there, a gentleman told me to bring in the car and that he would be happy to put my car on a lift because it was an easy fix.And after 10 min, the car was good to go -- at no charge!Going forward, I'm happy to bring my car to Capital Car Care since I know the type of honest and neighborhood business that they run. Thank you guys!

My wife's 2013 Dodge Durango desperately needed some service and CCC came through brilliantly. They were prompt, professional, and performed great work. Based on the service alone they earned a full 5 star review. They noticed that the state inspection was due and they took it upon themselves to take care of it for us which we really appreciated! However it was the personal touch that truly set this place into a class of its own. The service writer, who greets customers as they walk in, remembered my wife's first name and asked how our recent trip went. We had just gotten back from a 10 day trip which included a 10 hour drive home. The familiarity and comfort that remembering names and small details creates a small town feel which, these days, couldn't be more appreciated! The Durango runs wonderfully after getting the AWD system serviced and the water pump replaced. As customers we felt appreciated and valued. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants first class service with first class communication. They are exceptional!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

CCC is my go to automotive TRUSTED service provider in the region. I've been using them for well over decade for multiple family vehicles. They are very honest, professional, and have never advised any unnecessary maintenance, etc. They also do a great job explaining their rationale for any recommendations in an easy to understand manner. I got the cheapest oil change I can remember for my '19 Mazda 3 here. Everyone was friendly and service was fast (I was in and out in about 40 minutes). Nobody tried to upsell me on anything and my car's automated maintenance systems were reset correctly which you don't always get at non-dealer service centers. Bonus: if you have a few minutes to kill, check out the Swiss bakery down the street.

I had come to this shop on the recommendation of the body shop next door Ravensworth Collison Center . I needed extensive work done on the under panelOf my vehicle ranging from axle to sway bars replaced . My car has been with me for 10+ years , 200k miles from 0 and the work and care they put in felt like they were taking care of a family vehicle . It runs smoother than in years . I drove it from MD to Cape Cod and back a few days later and it was a very safe and smooth ride . My work was extensive and pricey but I felt the price was more than fair for the workmanship . Highly recommend.

My husband and I have been going to Capital Car Care for about two years. Even though we've moved further away since first coming here, we still bring our cars by for all our maintenance needs because we love them so much!They run an honest business, and never pressure you to get unnecessary work, unlike other car mechanics we've been to throughout the years. They work hard to fix a problem and ensure it stays fixed.

Had this guy look at my classic car because he was the only one in the area versed on this car. After warning me the fixes weren't cheap he charged me$300/00 for a check up. He told me services like a tune-up would be performed when I bring it back. I did the spark plugs and wires myself. I soon had a fuel pump issue. When I called to set up an appointment I was told by the OWNER that since I didn't do what he told me he doesn't want to work on my car! No thank you.

There's a couple things in life that every person needs:1. A good wife2. A good job3. A good mechanicCapital Car Care can provide you with one of these three things (spoiler alert, it's number 3).The place is family-owned and tucked away in an industrial park off of Braddock Road. They do no advertising, barely have a website and yet they always have plenty of business. That tells me that pretty much the only reason they stay in business is through word-of-mouth recommendations, customer loyalty and good work.Scott, Lauren and the team are friendly, honest and upfront, which is rare and incredibly refreshing in the mechanic industry. They don't do more work than what is absolutely necessary and they'll give you ALL the options for repairs, not just the expensive stuff.I've been using Capital Car since I got my license and I'll probably keep on using them until I lose it due to old age.

These guys are not cheap, but they are the best mechanics in the area.Since don't try to low-ball the cost estimates, they don't need to come up with BS upsell tricks. They may save you money in the long run since they don't need to upsell you to squeeze more money out of your visit.Now and then they *do* recommend additional work, but it's always been warranted and never been BS reasons to charge more.When I had a cheapie old car they'd even tell me when a given service would be so expensive that I'd be better off driving the car to death and buying a replacement than dumping money into it. They could have just milked me for a ton of money, and they knew I'd keep coming back and paying more everytime a new problem cropped up. Instead they were honest up front, which saved me a ton and lost them a money-pit cash-cow.

This place is a major disappointment! They are poorly located. There is no space to park. And, they are in need of customer service training. During my visit, it was made sarcastically clear that my money and my car would be taken care of and appreciated better somewhere else, because the lady that was working at the front desk had an attitude and snickered at me when I asked a question. I was taken back by her lack of customer service and her unwanted attitude. I will never go here to service any of my vehicles.

Phenominal mechanic.I have been looking high and low for a decent mechanic, and CCC is that shop. Our transmission went out, so we had it towed to CCC since we had taken our vehicles there for oil/filter changes. The mechanic got back to us within a day that we would need a new transmission. I was skeptical, and contacted another recommended transmission shop who not only confirmed what CCC had told us, but also vouched that we had a fair, honest, and skilled mechanic working on our car. They even went as far as to contact Nissan to determine if there was an extended warranty on the transmission as CCC knew the Nissan CVT transmissions were prone to early failure. Although the work was not cheap, we confirmed with several resources that CCC had given us a fair rate, and the bill was dead on with the quote (i.e., no hidden charges). They provided us with all the information we would need to file our complaint to Nissan for a transmission that went out at 50k miles (2011 Sentra).We will only be taking our vehicles to CCC.

I ve taken my car here for years, will go out of my way to go here even for an oil change and safety check. These are skilled people, these are good and friendly people, and I trust them with my car- to tell me what needs to be fixed, how much it costs etc. etc. So grateful for Scott and crew

If its $5 or $5000, they are the best and the most honest. I have been using them for 17 years. Better than a family doctor. Scott, Ezra and team are like no other.
