My recent interaction with Boyd Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram was far from satisfactory. I was initially attracted to their advertisement for a Ram Power Wagon with VIN 3C6TR5EJ0PG634987, Stock Number R23218, which advertised a price of $57,000.Upon reaching out to the dealership to confirm the price and discuss logistics, as I reside in Colorado and would need the truck either shipped or personally collected, the situation took a turn for the worse. Instead of honoring the advertised price, the dealership insisted I fill out a credit application before proceeding.Following this request, the dealership abruptly raised the price by $10,000, citing my out-of-state location as justification for the increase. This unexpected hike felt unjust and raised concerns about fairness in their pricing practices.In light of this experience, I advise potential buyers to approach dealings with Boyd Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram with caution. Their sudden price changes and treatment of out-of-state customers cast doubt on their integrity and commitment to fair business practices.

So let me start by saying...AMAZING.. drove 2 hours to look at a wrangler, went on a few test drives to see which one was going to work for me, Julian was patient, knowledgeable and friendly. Did not end up getting the one I wanted.....but got something much better.. A beautiful 2023, meaning I still got entire warranty for the vehicle, my priority, and the clear coating, to protect my investment. Everyone there was very nice, no pushy " salesperson" attitude here. Julian was more concerned about what was important to me and my needs. Fred, in finance, was also FANTASTIC!.This by far has been the best car buying experience I have ever had. Thank you to everyone at Boyd Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of South Hill VA!!!! if I could give you all bonuses I would. A few weeks ago, we were travelling 500 miles and near South Hill, VA our 2017 Pacifica started shaking and running really poorly. We googled Chrysler dealers and Boyd was near.The service writer, understood our situation and had someone look at the car right away. It was diagnosed and parts ordered. They expedited the delivery or the parts and we were on our way in approximately 2 hours.Thank you for your professionalism, for listening and taking care of our problem so we could continue the remaining 300 miles.Crisis avoided due to some caring people.Thank you very much!

I am very disappointed in the service I received. My 22 Jeep Compass transmission went and I have a warranty that covers a rental. I have been given the run around. The Sales associate says he will call back and don t I wouldn t recommend this service for anyone.

I recently purchased a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. My experience was amazing. James was my salesperson. He went above and beyond. He let me drive just about every type of SUV was on their lot as well as the Honda lot. He was very thoughtful and made sure that all of the vehicles were warmed up and the heated seats were on as it was a very cold day. I felt as though he was a true advocate for me and what I was looking for. He wanted me to find the perfect vehicle. I appreciate the time he spent with me. James is extremely professional, but also feels as though he's a friend. I would highly recommend working with him if you want to find the perfect vehicle to suit your needs!

Bought a Dodge Ram there last year. Never went to dealers for basics before...( oil changes and inspections) but I started with this vehicle. I can honestly say this has been the most hassle free experience I've had with a dealership ever. The parts department got me in and out and completely taken care of in just over an hour. That's with a line of vehicles in front of me. All techs were on a vehicle and all bays were being utilized. Once mine was done I was taken care of promptly and courteously. I will definitely use them again.

Despite waiting over a week for services to start on my car and an additional week waiting on the necessary parts the service was awesome. Allison Allgood was very polite and professional and relayed information to me concerning my car even though she wasn t assigned to me. When my car was ready and the phones had gone down she went out of her way to call me by other means. I really see this as going above and beyond to guarantee the best that Boyd Chrysler Jeep and Dodge has to offer. Please recognize this young lady in front of her peers!

Excellent customer service from Bobby Wilkerson and the rest of the staff at Boyd. They are very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure I got the exact Jeep I wanted. The process was very smooth from beginning to end. It was so good that we bought TWO new vehicles instead of the one we had planned on. I highly recommend this dealership!

Would not recommend going here for services. Had an appointment for my vehicles brakes to be looked at to diagnose a leak. The first day I was told two different stories. I came back the following at 8 am to be told another story about a tech being out and my vehicle may need to stay over night. I told them I needed it done. About 40 minutes later I get a call saying wrong brake lines came in. I tell them to just look at my brakes to see if they need replacing. She said they will. 40 minutes later I get back. I am quoted a price for brakes to be replaced even though they have not looked at my truck for two days straight. Will never be going back.

I absolutely enjoyed every minute of my experience at Boyd. This was my first vehicle I purchased on my own and they all really made my transition very smooth and comfortable. From the first phone call with Devin to him handing us the keys was absolute perfection!I first met with Devin on a rainy Saturday. He was more than willing to show us the truck and answer any questions even dealing with the rain. I talked to him about a couple of issues that I saw that needed to be fixed. He immediately had the shop address those issues to my satisfaction. Over the course of nearly a week, we communicated back and forth. I can tend to be a little picky and adamant, he never lost his patience or made up excuses. I buy a truck every year, I can without a doubt say this was the best buying experience I've ever had. I dealt with Devin's manager, Bryan Norris and the finance manager, Fred Goode as well. Both men were extremely professional and pleasant to deal with. After dealing with dealerships in the Richmond area for several years and having to take all types of measures to get the deal I wanted, working with the guys at Boyd Chrysler was a breath of fresh air. I truly recommend this place and will be coming back. They even impressed my wife (very hard to do. lol)

Bought a pristine 300C here in 2018 from Devin. Sent my best friend there in 2019 she bought a great crossover from him. Fred took great care of her. Now we are going back for truck! It takes an hour and half to get there, but we are well taken care of. Devin will take care of the car and Fred will care of the money.

The service department is best I have used at any dealership. Rachel Harris ( Service Manager) is fantastic. I needed a smart transponder chip ignition key. The key blank was in stock and she able to get me the next day for the appointment. The dealerships in Raleigh NC wanted twice $$ and 10 to 14 days for an appointment. Well worth the drive from Raleigh. Will return when I need dealership service. BTW, Risin' Smoke Barbecue down the street the best.

Rachel is service is prejudice and lacks communication skills. I will never bring a vehicle back to this dealership. They will keep your vehicle for over a week and not even call you with a diagnostic, you will have to contact them. They also scratched the door of my car and won t fix it or elevate to the owner for a solution. If the no star option was available I would have picked that option. Still waiting for a call from the owner.

This dealership has the worst customer service around. They have no idea what s going on and will lie to you. They are no help at all. We will drive hours away from here for now on because we will never return to boyd. Do yourself a favor and don t even bother with this place.

Customer service was at it's worst. Car never got fixed after spending over 2400dollars. My family has bought 4 new and 1 used vehicles the past five years. That didn't seem to matter. Know your customer.

The service department here is terrible, especially Rachel - the Service Manager. She was very rude and lied to me. I had my van towed to their lot, and I was 3 hours away from my vehicle. Whenever I called for updates, Rachel gave a very snobbish attitude and did not want to help. When I came back to the dealership to pick up my car after hours (3 hour drive to the dealership and 3 hours back to my home), I found out that the keys to my vehicle were still inside the dealership even though I had arranged with Rachel for my keys to be in a specific location. I could not believe that I had come all this way and the keys were not in the vehicle. Terrible customer service. I will never bring my van back here.

Never experienced this. Me and my wife pull up and a gentleman in street clothes walked up to me and my family while I was pulling my infant out of the car and asks me for money. Not a good start. As we are talking with the guy getting our information at the front desk, the same guy comes in and interrupts us to speak to the guy at front desk. The guy told him he had a client. To make it so bad we were denied a the car we wanted and low balled on the trade in. On the bright side we went to Crossroads Ford in NC, got approved for the car we wanted and even gave us 3x more for our old vehicle. Boyd is a let down.

I went to Boyd Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of South Hill, VA looking for a truck.Everything was so nice and Devin and others was so amazing on giving me details andmaking me feel comfortable. I really enjoyed my experience there especially how they worked so hard on getting me what I wanted. Boyd is a joke. I would never recommend going there. I bought a Jeep overland from them. Immediately started having headlight issues. The headlights would flicker non-stop, creating a very dangerous vehicle to be on the roads at night time. I took the vehicle to them multipletimes. Again and again they told me it was fixed, of course after coughing up $2,000 in labor and parts. But guess what....THE JEEP IS STILL HAVING ISSUES AND WONT PASS INSPECTION.

AVOID AT ALL COST. I WENT IN TO LOOK AT TRUCKS AND FOUND ONE THAT IS A BIG HORN WITH THE SPORTS APPEARANCE PACKAGE. THEY ARE TRING TO ROB YOU TOLD ME THE TRUCK THAT IS USED BY THE WAY WAS $57000 THE SAME PRACE AS A NEW DODGE Laramie they are completely out of their minds don't buy here take the drive and go somewhere else trust me.

This place wow idk where to startI performed very good business for any car salesman put down 8500 , don't buy used cars from here don't bring your car here for service they install faulty partsBlame the pandemic whatever these people are horrible liars and don't have any real accommodating service . This place just looks good on the outside . I have other things to be doing than warning fellow Americans about shady business!!!!!!!
