Please don't miss understand my 4 star review. For me this is equalivent to a 5 star. I believe we can always do better. No one is perfect.I was treated very well. I was having a terrible day. Where it just seemed everything was going wrong.We was heading out of town to move my son. I needed an oil change. That morning the truck didn't start. My reservation for a trailer wasn't going well. So now I am running all over town to get the things taken care of so to able to leave the next morning.The service crew had me in quick. And while changing the oil. I explained how I was having a bad day. They mentioned that they sold and installed car batteries. So this allowed me to not have another stop. The service was excellent. And the crew was very polite and professional. This wasn't my first visit. And it won't be the last.

I recently came to Valvoline to get the oil changed in my service van. Amber was very friendly and greeted me as soon as I pulled into the bay. She was very helpful and reminded me that I also needed wiper blades which I would have forgot if she hadn t mentioned it. When she told me how young she was I was shocked! She seemed like she had been working there for years! She is definitely going places and has huge potential.

If you're looking for a fast oil change, avoid this place at all cost. They directed me into a lane, and I waited for an hour and 40 minutes. Not once in that time did they come talk to me or give me an ETA, which caused me to be 40 minutes late back to work, and I still didn't get my oil changed.

I hate paying to get my oil changed, bit when I'm traveling, sometimes there is no choice. Used these guys today...efficient, professional and quick service. They check the lights and filter to try to get the extra sale, but...when everything is in good shape, there is no high pressure attempt to do unnecessary items. They may not ever be the cheapest, but they are never a hassle.

I've been to multiple Valvoline locations, and the experience is always great. The techs/csrs are kind and helpful. Service is fast, and the prices feel fair.Mo was our topside csr this trip. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided extra service options without feeling pushy.Everyone seems to be in a good mood and enjoying what they do, which always feels welcoming.

Seriously the nicest people to have work on your vehicle. They are not pushy and will listen if you do not want a particular service. I've been taking my vehicles to here for years and I highly recommend them.

I've never had bad service at this Valvoline. The employees are fast, friendly and never push you for more than you came for (they do go over the options with you but never pressure). I've always enjoyed the fun atmosphere (employees joke with each other and customers) in what can be a tedious and monotonous job and customer experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for good, quick service.

Keffer was the absolute best. I don t know much about cars and he did not make me feel dumb. He was super sweet and did not try and waste my time. The absolute best place to get your car maintenance done! Russell and Dean and George and the cool dude that instructed us into the car port is so incredibly friendly and cares about you and you care needs. Thank you Valvoline on West Main street Salem, VA!!!!!!

Took my fusion there today and they were very professional and kind only cost me 42 I didn't do synthetic but I thought it was a great price definitely will be my go to for oil changes, and the dispensary is next door how convenient is that! Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

They're good for an oil change but I can't recommend the transmission service that I had. They don't change the filter inside of the transmission and they did not do the rear differential oil,, so basically you're paying for half of a transmission service it's not worth it....I recommend going to a station where they can do it fully.

Fast friendly service, although it was pricer than I expected. This was the first time I have ever paid someone to change my oil, so I'm used to just the cost of oil and filter.

Buyer beware!!!! I went to this place to get my oil changed. My husband went in to talk to them first and they quoted home one price after he left they came out to get my truck then the guy behind the counter (bob) tells me I need 2 filters replaced. It cost me about an extra $40 bucks and I didn t mind. What made me upset is the guy put the filter in backwards which made the air in the truck feel different, also they never reset my warning sign on the dashboard!!!! Now I have driven my truck past the oil change time, they better hope my engine is not messed up!!!! I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS AGAIN!!!!! Service: Oil change

They were friendly and fast. I read some comments about them being forceful about up sales or extra things u should have done especially when a woman is alone but that was not my experience at all. Yes they showed me recommended services to get done with the prices but didn t get pushy at all when I said next time. Same for the woman in the car next to me. They were fast, professional, and didn t make me uncomfortable at all. Will definitely be returning when next oil change is needed.

I had this place do an oil change for my truck. I bought my oil to them and they never used it. I was charged $197.00 for this oil change which is outrageous. I didn't realize the charge until I got home as I gave them my credit card. When I went back they said they could give me a $50.00 credit off on my next oil change. $147.00 is still outrageous for the oil change. They didn't use my oil and never returned it to me.

I have mixed feelings about this. I ll say from a service standpoint they are professional and do a good job. I got a synthetic oil change and it was about $100 which is expensive, but I read other reviews and I was prepared for that. Dealership is usually $80ish for synthetic.. However, I knew this going into it because I read the reviews. Just keep an eye on what things cost and stick to what you came in for. You can t blame them for trying to upsell, they re running a business. Took a little longer than the 15min the sign says though. The staff was friendly and professional. I d go back in a pinch.

This facility is so convenient for me. The staff are very efficient and knowledgeable about my vehicle. I am in an out with great serviceBeen taking my car there for several years now and they are always great. They check tires, all fluids and filters. Never pushed to by anything I do not ask for. Price is competitive.

I was utterly thrilled! The service was quick yet expertly performed. I don't know what the manager Joel Hartinger does, but he needs to keep up the great work there!The atmosphere compared with other shops I've been to was way cleaner and less stressful.I was also impressed with the diligent work ethic.Great place!!
