I visited the Salem store because I had a good experience at the Williamson road store with my son s car. I wasn t disappointed- I bought Michelins for two cars and the service was as promised and on time. Al the manager was great to work with! I would highly recommend them.

Just a few minutes turned into over 2.5 hours for an inspection and then the tech couldn t even work a computer well enough to generate a quote in any reasonable pint of time. Having a real mechanic double check what was looked at because between incompetence, lack of speed, and zero communication across the time I won t be back and will be sure to let my customers know where NOT to have their vehicles serviced in Salem.

Mike, who handles the RV tires was wonderful to work with! When I was looking for 6 tires for my RV recently, he gave me the best price in the area for the Toyo tires I was looking for. A couple months later, when 1 tire had suddenly lost some air, they checked it out for me. They found no reason for the sudden leak, but replaced the valve stem and resealed the tire, and did not charge me since they found no reason for the leak. Will definitely return here for any other RV tire needs.

Chris patched and rescued my flat tire! I had been elsewhere and told only plugs work. Wrong, my tire was flat again in less than 48 hours. Chris unloaded my tire, promptly patched and 48 hours later my tire is still functional! Great customer service!

This is a great place to have work done on your car. Al is the best, his honesty and customer service is hard to find these days. He keeps me coming back for repairs or regular maintenance needs.

The Salem store worked us in despite struggling with a computer network failure. They were gracious enough to remount a tire free of charge to a new rim after discovering a bent rim previously. Good folks that care about their customers.

Thompson Tire - Jonathan and Al have been amazing to work with. I had work done on my back brakes, and a tire rotation. Jonathan was so helpful on the phone the day prior, ordered my parts in advance and even met a competitors pricing. We have searched high and low for a reputable shop in Salem and this is it. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you Thompson Tire for your excellent customer service. Ps: Shop is very clean, offers nice waiting room for customers, and a picnic table outdoors in the shade so I could work and wait on my car.

We had an emergency tire situation with my father. They accepted us 5 minutes early and were all super sweet and understanding. Even with how busy they were they still accepted us and fixed the tire. They were great and we appreciated them accepting us with all their work. Really nice and genuine guys there. Would definitely recommend to any friend or family.

The guys here are exceptional. Walked in with a flat tire, they immediately tried to put air in it, when we realized it wouldn't hold air they offered to put my spare on even though i told them i preferred to take it to my normal garage to get a new tire. Just genuine good people who wanted to help with nothing in return.

Al did a great job of getting a tire that was not readily available locally. He tracked the tires arrival on FedEx and quickly had his team do the installation. It was an excellent job from start to finish.

I bought 4 new tires from TireDiscounters on 04/26/23. They have reasonable prices for a middle of the road tire and good warranty. The complete job of removing all old tires and putting new ones on, getting all 4 wheel realignment (for free when you purchase 4 tires!! ) and a state inspection done also took a little over an hour! The ONLY negative thing I can say is that my driver carpet floor mat has black grease foot prints on it and my leather drivers seat has 3 small areas of grease on it. Usually when I've taken my car in for work other places they have placed paper mats on floor board over mat and a plastic or paper seat cover. That would be a suggestion to this shop. Thank you all for the work!!

Brought my car in for oil change state inspection and got a tire rotation. They really earned my business they did not charge me for work I didn t need but did recommend maintenance work That I will schedule next month. The general manager Al respected my time and earned a customer for life. Recommend Thompson tire discounters in Salem to everyone I know.

Very helpful and courteousI stopped in w/o an appt to get my expired safety check done and they were willing to squeeze me in right away. Employees were pleasant and waiting room was clean. I will certainly go back!
