Great family run business. I take all my vehicles and my father's here for oil changes and tire rotations. Always welcoming environment and fast.

They are very good at what. they do not force anything on you. But they let you know What you should have done in the near future.And they are very nice when you go there and have a comfortable place to talk to other people and friends. And watch TV.

They were extremely fast at ordering my tire and putting it on the next day. That front desk was a warm welcome and helped me out as much as they could. The mechanics even helped me with a problem I had with some rusted bolts and didn t complain once. Will be where I go from now on!

There was a cap that came off of my oil and my light was on so I went to speedy to see if they could fix it. They were honest with me and said it was their fault the cap wasn't put it on good enough. They took my car to the car wash and washed it.washed the oil off the engine and gave me some cookies and a free oil change the next time I go there and didn't charge me a thing. I would highly recommend speedy for your cars and trucks.

Not quite as "SpeeDee" as I would have liked but they were very busy so I'll give them a pass. State inspection was on $20, sweet

Chris, Craig and Mark and the rest of guys at SpeeDee were great today. Had my oil changed along with my rear differential fluid. Same friendly and courteous service I have been receiving for years. Also vacuumed my car out and topped off all my fluids. Also thanks to Mark for fixing the mudflap.

Had to get oil changed and the plastic stuff under my car was dragging the ground. They took my car in as soon as I pulled in, changed the oil and removed the plastic that was dragging at no extra charge. I highly recommend and will be going back. Had a good conversation while I waited as well.

It was quick, they didn't try to upsell me anything like changing my coolant, just one of my screwed up windshield wipers. Oil change was only 50$, friendly staff, all boxes checked.

Response to Reply:Asking for a off the record conversation won't improve anything. Let's call this corporate maneuvering out for what it is. You have my name, store number and this statement. That's more than enough. If your really interested in doing the leg work then the rest is minimum effort at best. I suggest you take 5 minutes and lookup the repair. Let's show a little work ethic, as this is part of the inherent problem and pursue it internally if your interested in actual change.Given the other replies it seems doubtful however. . Until then this review is all the further time I will commit to this. I won't give party to additional delays caused by a social media team support circus.Original Review:Inspector said turn signal bulb was burt out. To be clear I wasn't charged for a replacement bulb but later found out my bulb was fine. None of the headlamps or signals had issues. Also Inspector noted don't worry about a clear violation. I read the inspector checklist. Guess what number signal lamps is. Jeez that's comforting. For reference I would rather inspectors just do their jobs.I handed the inspector my key btw. He only asked if I had been there before. Didn't take any information from me. Pretty excited to see how his trying that key in every car in the lot was going to pan out. Well what if I had multiple cars, or wasn't in any computer system. I shouldn't have to volunteer crucial pieces of information like that to do your job. I feel like I probably squirted some additional delays with that,So not doing his job, and then didn't make a accurate evaluation or got the cars mixed up or something which raises even deeper concerns.Also later cost me 17 bucks on a bulb I didn't need when I went to fix it of my own accord. Really makes me wonder when the guy is doing his job what he intentionally or unintentionally charges people for.Prior to that in a previous visit the 15 minute oil change with three people ahead took 4 hours with three dedicated lanes open. Pretty sure he just forgot about me. At best that math doesn't work.Only reason I intend to stay:Still better than merchants.

Got here at 7:30am, opens at 8. I was First in line, to a 'First Come First Serve' Wanted an oilchange and an Inspection.. 11am now...still waiting to get car in the bay... This Is Unexceptable and Very Unprofessional.. There is NOTHING Speedee about this place.. Will NOT Come back or Recommend....!!!!! And to top off. A $90 oil change. This place is a SCAM...

One star based on a friend recommendation. However I wish I would have read the reviews or recommendations of others. Took my car in for a diagnostic check in July. Issue with coolant(s) and overheating. Was told I had a leak in my radiator. Radiator $418.93; Universal Fluid coolants $42.79 4 clamps $27.56; Labor $286; and tire plug $24.99 = $826.41. My brother visited me over the weekend. Retired mechanic from NC and questioned these charges. Enough said. Understandable that if my radiator had to be replaced (Infinity EX37) the location would warrant some difficulty; however if I had known the cost would have been so horrendous I would have waited to take my car to Tech Mechanics who I trust and admire their integrity. I was told that my radiator was purchased from O'Reilly's. Hindsight is 20/20. I would not recommend this establishment to my family or friends; nor will I have my vehicle serviced by this business again. If taking folks hard earned money to gain your profit allow you and others associated with your business to have a restful sleep at night then.... sleep well.

I was at the Salem Va. location on 10-19-18, for an inspection for my Ranger. I was thrilled, with the excellent service I received. I was talking with the inspector, about my two antiques. Finally, I found a place that I trust to work on my classics. As well. as my driver. My experience was great. Right down to the very friendly cashier, that I paid for my inspection. Bravo! This SpeeDee shop, is a keeper.

Honest, friendly, capable, and caring, Mike, Brenda and crew run a golden-rule kind of shop. In an age where you can trust very few, this shop earns it every single day. Can't say enough good things about them. Of course, I've only been going there for 20 years. Went 2 times in a month and the second time the guy in charge at the desk asked why I was back so soon like I wasn't welcome there. If he'd looked at the mileage, he'd know why. Not going back, I said or did nothing wrong.

My late husband, Frank Stamper, and myself have used these folks ever since they have been in Salem. Mike, Brenda and their crew are punctual and knowledgeable and have always been friendly, honest and treat you with respect. They will always tell you what your vehicle needs before they do it not like some places I've been told that do the repairs and then charge you.
