Great mechanics! Sam & Eric, these two gentleman know their auto stuff. And good people too. It can be hard work to find trustworthy mechanics. Especially those who tell you the truth and don t allow you to sink into a money pit at your own expense and to their benefit. Any car that needs repair, or a diagnostic, I m bringing it to them. Additionally, Eric told me in conversation that he s been working on cars since childhood. He lives and breathes motors. I assemble motors in my sleep, he told me. Yeah, these guys are legit. Highly recommend.

I have to say this place is hands down the best shop and mechanics you can get here in the Roanoke/Salem area. Called about having break issues with our Audi and he got us in and out of the shop quicker than expected. He didn t sugar coat anything for us told us the exact issue and how much everything was going to be! Will defiantly be taking care of all of our cars from here on out! Thank you, Sam + Eric! We are traveling in our sprinter van and needed an unexpected repair. Sam was very sympathetic with the fact that we are on the road and that our T1N Sprinter is our house! He was super responsive and communicative about what needed to be done and how long getting the part in would take. Eric got the work done for us as soon as the part came in. Great work and great service, too! Thanks so much for getting us back on the road quick!

I have bad luck with car damage, and got tired of seeing my insurance costs surge. I turned to Sam in a rut, and he quoted me incredible prices and did such excellent quality work. Most importantly, he is such a neighborhood mechanic man, who makes you feel like family. He delivers his work with love, and not just for profit. Sam will be my mechanic for as long as I live and drive in this city.

My sister and my mom were on their way to NY from GA last week when the transmission went out in their 2016 Ford Escape. We met them in Salem and took the car to Peter s Creek. They gave us a fair quote for fixing the transmission, but we decided it wasn t worth putting the money into the car. We had to make a ton of calls to get the car towed, and we had to work around our work schedules to come back up to VA to tow the car home. The guys at PC were so nice and let us leave the car with them until we could work it out to get it towed back to GA. If you re in the area they are definitely the way to go if you need work done on your car!Service: Transmission

On last night I was locked out of my car at Kroger s. After waiting for a locksmith for about an hr and a half after Progressive said that they couldn t find anyone to help me. The service desk worker found a locksmith online and called for him to come for an $80 out of pocket fee. I waited at the service desk and your worker came in the store. He said that he had gotten my key and that it was already paid!! He stood up for me to the rude man who also showed up to open the car and demanded pay for just coming. He allowed me to leave safely as he handled the angry unlicensed locksmith. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for having such a great worker!!

This was the best experience I ve had at an auto repair shop. I m from out of town and had my check engine light come on during my trip. Sam made me an appointment for the next morning after I called and checked out that issue and another with my left wheel. He let me know it was safe to drive on, and gave me recommendations on what to tune up / fix with my mechanic when I was back home. Very honest, genuine and caring people here. I went to Petercreek automotive, to get my motor replaced. They had my car for 2months, charging me extra when they didn't fix my car " Sam and Eric" yes my engine was backfiring, and he told me it was the motor.And that the problem was internal. He switchedup, and said it was the catalytic converter. I paid this man "Sam" $1400 to replace and installed a new Catalytic Converter, and he didn't do so. He stole my money, and he didn't fix my car. He claimed that he purchased parts for my car, but he failed to show me receipts or old parts. On several occasions which I asked him for. It was very difficult for them to run a diagnostic on my engine, per the warranty agent. Because technically, they didn't know what they were doing. And they lie so much, and changed their stories each time I asked them the same questions regarding my vehicle. I asked Sam for a picture of my catalytic converter, before and after. And Sam sent me a picture of underneath two different cars . I towed my car to another mechanic, and my car was fixed in two days. And their wasn't anything wrong with my new motor, FYI...I proceeded and took Petercreek automotive in salem to court, and I won my case against them. I never met such dishonest people in my entire life. Sam is nothing but a crook and a drunk. And Eric is his scapegoat. Just because I am a female, doesn't mean I am stupid when it comes to cars. Yall be aware of this place. Petercreek automotive in salem ratings with the Better Business Bureau is a F. I wish there was an option for zero stars They also broke my steering wheel column, and didn't put oil/ fluids etc, in the new engine!! They are not certified mechanics, they are bootleg ....

Unethical scammer. Doesn't provide paperwork for estimates or repair receipts. Overcharges labor. Takes a longer time then states. Withhold vehicles after paid the amount stated for repairs to charge hundreds more just to get you keys and property back. I went there to get my ac replaced on my car. From the first phone call, he was very kind and helpful. They realized my water pump was leaking and about to burst. If he didn't call me to let me know that, it would have ruined my whole trip. I was sent a link with pictures of everything they were doing. It's comforting to find mechanics who really care about their customers! Can't say enough about how great my experience has been. And I have found a reliable place to take my vehicle! Very fair prices too, I'm thankful to have found this place!

Sam did a great job keeping me updated on the status of my car. He gave me a call after diagnosing the issue to let me know the costs and ask whether he would like me to proceed which was very much appreciated. Since having my fix, the car has run great. Highly recommend these guys!

Sam took time during his busy Saturday with only a little bit of time left before closingto speak to me for roughly 45 minutes to diagnose an actuator issue with me over the phone. He was spot on and absolutely correct, he even made a phone call to a local parts store to order the replacement part for me to pickup, at a discounted price! Never met the guy, and this was my first interaction; total professional.

Went here to get a steering wheel column and headlights repaired. After months, and almost $1,000 was finally told car was ready and everything working properly. Took vehicle to get inspected minutes after leaving Peter's Creek automotive. Every single thing that they claimed to fix, failed inspection. When I contacted Sam at Peter's creek automotive explaining the issue and requesting a 50% refund, he started yelling to take him to court. Do NOT take your vehicle here, shady and scammers.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

I paid them almost $1000 to do some work on my car and they didn t even finish the work that they were supposed to do. They had my car for over 6 months and during that time I made several visits to see if they were done only to find: a. A piece of wood jammed on my window holding it up; b. False parts put in my car (one of their mechanics told me this); c. Parts that did not need to be put in, replaced due to their carelessness in breaking it in the first place. They charged me for brand new parts but they had blue markings indicating that they were from a junkyard. Also the window regulator that they put in my car, in the end of all this, and I quote from another mechanic ( an actual professional) it s broken to pieces and looks like it was glued back together and jammed back into your door. We have to take your window out or else it would shatter. These guy s claimed to have called me throughout all the time they had my car when in reality they were ignoring mine. I know this because I had someone else call seconds after I did and they answered them. They have an iPhone as their company phone so they know who is calling. And to top it all off, I kept asking for an invoice but they refused to give me one and my spare keys unless I paid them for the extra work they did even though I never consented for that work to be done. These people are con men. They will take advantage of you, not answer your questions, and sell your good parts and replace them with junkyard parts. Don t make the same mistake that I made. If I could give them 0 stars I would. DON T GO HERE. Now I can t use my car because they messed it up to that degree and I can t repair it being a college student with other bills to pay.Response to owner: my car is a 1999 Toyota Corolla. I m not being sued. I have the receipts and proof I paid it all, which was technically $950 but I rounded up. You are making things up because you don t want people to believe this review. I have proof via paper work/ recordings of speaking with you that my car had been there for more than 6 months. Also when I warned my friends, I happened to come across another person of whom you messed up the car of. I know a lot of the Roanoke community and everyone my family and friends know, you can bet, will never set foot in your shop. Although I m pretty sure the car you said was mine is actually my friend s car.

Crooks!!!!! Stay far away!!! Only accepts cash payments, but you can use a debit card if you make the payment to his Pastor friend , that s weird! Car was taken back for repair a second time after it wasn t fixed the first time I paid for services and it was still not fixed. Finally gave up and took it somewhere else and took the $ loss.To respond to your comment you get your facts straight and tell the whole story. No one lives in GA, the car is titled and tagged in VA with a Roanoke address. Furthermore, if someone uses a debit card, the transaction would not go be approved it the funds are not available (regardless of what city, state or country the person is in). Oh, unless you only take cash for tax purposes...... And if I didn t bring the vehicle back to be fixed why was I charged twice??? And let s use common sense, after paying $400+ then $300+ of course I wouldn t bring it back a third time.....anyway, we live and learn and this was definitely a learning experience. So, you have a blessed day and tell your Pastor (the one that can take your credit/debit card payments through his name) to pray for you and my days are continuing to be blessed!! This is my last response, I have spent too much time, energy and MONEY on this matter!!!

My brother-in law lives in Roanoke and I in Danville, he called and his car wouldn t start. After some checking when I got there we determined it to be a starter. We stopped at peters creek automotive and from start to finish the people were great. This was 330 in the afternoon and they thought they could get it fixed before 5 but had to order the starter. They even came and picked him up after car was finished! I highly recommend them!

Before I decide where to fix AC, I looked up google, facebook, and yelp reviews on where to fix it. There are some good ones out there but this one is the best. Sam and Eric, they are very helpful, friendly, know what they are doing, and yet, professional. I have been ripped off by some other automotive; but, not this one. This is worth coming for. I would come to the place where I know my car is in good hand even if I have to drive an hour or two.

The staff was amazing and Sam is awesome!He knew right off the bat what was wrong with my car. Very low prices when Honda wanted to charge me $105 just to diagnose the problem. Highly recommend

They Gave me a price of $350.00 to replace a thermostat in a 2003 cadillac cts. It was overheating. That wasn't a bad price because the t-stat is buried underneath the intake manifold and the injectors. So not bad price. Haven't had the pleasure of seeing the end results yet. Stay toned for the end results.

Super down to earth guys, very knowledgeable. They helped me out big time with narrowing down the cause of my check engine light and did way more for me then I ever expected. Definitely recommend this shop if your looking for honest work.

Great place the guys were awesome driving home to Florida from new york and my car started overheating these guys made me priority while there thank god 3 hoses broke and they fixed em. Gave us vold drinks and pizza for lunch you guys rock thank you so much. Also he asked me to text him when i got home to make sure i made it. Very peraonal and professional

I was In a jam, and need some brake work done on Christmas Eve. These guys were open and accommodating. A lot of places push and even demand needless maintenance to run up a bill, Peters Creek offered the additional work but didn't push it on you. Owner even gave me a ride to the house and picked me up when the work was complete. For the work I needed the price was good.

Brought in a certified pre-owned car from a nearby dealership before pulling the trigger. Spoke to Sam and Kat and asked to look over the entire car as if he were buying it himself. Looked at everything under the hood and lifted up to look underneath for rust. Underneath the car we found unusual stains by the oil and transmission pans. Never would have seen this at the dealership. Brought back to the dealer mechanic to look at again and fix before buying. Sam even used a OBD2 reader just in case. Can never be too careful when dealing with a used car.

Whatever you do dont take your vehicle to this man I am a single mom with a disabled child with health issues and he has put me off for almost 3 months for a computer module for my modified van for my daughter and when my daughter is sick with pneumonia and she's been suffering in the van with no air waiting on Sam to get the part he is then going to say he isn't going to do it after the fact he received 200 .00 down for this part i will be filing court papers on this man and reporting him as also he edited the money I have paid him on everything else on his computer but my bank card shows different and the inside of this place and the bathroom is very dirty!and he asks people to write good reviews about his buisness on here

This is the worst place to take your car they will rip you off. I had to take my car there four times the problem was never solved and im still having.problems every since they called themselves fixing it i would not recommend anyone going ther beware
