I have never been to Pete s RV until Monday morning. I had just bought a used camper from an individual and couldn t figure out why I only had hot water for a few seconds. Colton came out and looked at it and with in a minute he had it fixed and I was on my way. Really nice people and very knowledgeable. I will be back at Pete s .

We bought our very first travel camper at Pete's RV center and had a top-notch experience at every contact point. We looked at a lot of campers before meeting Tim, our sales consultant, a Pete's. With his help, we secured the perfect camper for us. We are so delighted with the design and quality of our Grand Design Imagination camper. A strong stand out at a better price than what was offered to us at other places. The Finance Manager, Roger, was super helpful and so professional. Colton reviewed every function of our camper with us and even permitted us to video record segments for our private review while learning how to treat our camper just right! The whole team was super supportive. We had a fabulous purchasing experience and we can highly recommend this camper business! Just wish we would have visited with them first!!!!

Great experience throughout the entire process. Brandon was extremely helpful and quick to answer any questions. David was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any service, operation, build, or miscellaneous questions we had. As for the paperwork, Robert had a very down-to-earth approach and took the time to explain everything.I'm sure there is more to I could say but the short of it is that it was a very positive experience and EVERYONE we encountered has very knowledgeable and pleasant.

Colton our tech that did a walk around to show us how everything worked on our RV was amazing. He was very knowledgeable of how things worked. Great job. Our experience with Pete s RV went great!

I recieved excellent repair services from Keith(service desk) and John(repair technician). I am a Alaskan Traveler and needed travel trailer repair on my bump out. I did not know who to turn to for reliable assistance. Keith provided a realistic appointment time, not six weeks out as other shops offered, and they completed the work/repairs by day's end. I stayed the night and started fresh the next day. Keith noticed a few minor details with a keen eye for detail, and took care of them. Other shops would not admit to small, but important details such as small compromise in calk or one screw needing proper torque. Pete's RV Center crew fixed my bump out, and I was back on the road with confidence.

I did not buy my RV here but needed some repairs while I was in the area on a short-term basis. They were able to get me in very soon and very accommodating since I live full-time in my RV. Keith (front desk) was AMAZING to work with! He even checked in on me to make sure I arrived back safety and had to get back into a difficult spot where I was staying. John (the tech) did a great job on the repairs. I was very impressed with the service here and would highly recommend them for any repairs.I have a GD Reflection 320MKS

We bought our camper here a couple of years ago. Tim helped us pick out a great Sonic that s perfect for us. Colton was very knowledgeable and helpful showing us everything we needed to know getting started. We ve brought it in for routine service and inspections since then and it s always a positive experience. Keep up the great work!

Excellent customer service and top notch warranty repairs done by Jon. I bought my first RV from a different dealership 500 miles away but Pete s (shoutout to Keith) was able to navigate me through the warranty process to complete half a dozen repairs in a timely manner. The service was convenient, friendly, and always focused on what I needed. As the highest form of compliment to Jon: my camper is in better condition than the day I bought it!

We recently took our new camper down to Pete s RV to have some repair work done on it. Keith in service was fantastic to work with. He took down all the concerns and they scheduled it for the next week. Keith, Colten, Bill, and John did an awesome job fixing the items of concern. My service experience was great. Great job by the crew.

Because we have had good service experience from the Salem location over several years, it was a no brainer to try to purchase our new camper from them and they have not disappointed! True professionalism and attention to our needs, help through the process and old fashioned customer service! Had an excellent experience with Tim, Robert, and the rest of the staff buying our 5th wheel. Tim was knowledgeable and a good listener making sure we had the right model for us. Straightforward on price, no surprises. We pointed out a few issues on our first walk through that they fixed and their prep team fixed a few others we forgot to mention.The service team was great, they made good recommendations, but no pressure to buy. Took time to walk through all the systems and answer all our questions.

My experience started out a little rough , but Brian , Savannah and Colton made my experience exceptional. Start looking at one camper and it didn't work out, but they continued to work with me and made my experience , worth while. The service team at Pete's RV in Salem went the extra mile to make repairs and meet the deadline to get my class A back on the road to see the eclipse. Kieth and Bill did what they had to do to locate and get parts overnighted and installed on schedule as promised. Quality work done on time at a reasonable price. Glad to have them here in Salem.

Pete's RV in Salem VA recently helped my husband and I buy our first pop-up camper. Tim, our sale's person, was knowledgeable, professional, and kind. Tim was very genuine and down to earth and made us feel very welcome. Bryan the Sales Manager is super personable and made the experience very easy.We were also helped by Brandon and Robert. Brandon did a great job walking us through all the paperwork, he was very efficient while still giving us all the information. Robert helped go through all our options; he also helped me a few times over the phone with questions and was very patient-- while providing some comic relief :) which I appreciate.Colton went truly ABOVE AND BEYOND (GOLD STAR FOR SURE!!!) showing us everything there is to know about our camper. As first-time buyers and only have done tent camping in the past we had ALOT of questions. Colton was very patient, kind, and he made us feel validated in our questions-- which is fantastic customer service. Daniel also helped immensely in showing us even more ins-and-outs of the camper and was very friendly. He shared a lot of tips and tricks from his own camping experience, which was really helpful.Bill went above and beyond by helping us fix our hitch. We had gotten a new hitch put on our vehicle however a wire had come loose, and Bill helped us troubleshoot and fix it. This provided a great experience and saved us from having to go anywhere else.We will certainly be recommending Pete's in Salem to family, friends, and anyone looking for a camper. We also will absolutely go to them for any service we need, and eventually an upgrade in future years.Thank you all so much!! We appreciate all the great service, knowledge, and kindness.

This place is the best by far. Purchased my camper from them many years ago when it was still American RV and continue to take it back to Pete's RV for service and inspections. So I am a few weeks late on this review. We have purchased twice from this dealership (first was with American RV before the merge). While it was a bit different this round with Pete s RV in Salem VA, the overall process was the same.I have to give a shootout to Brandon Pi�on for showing us a camper in the pouring down rain and taking time to go over all specifications of the camper. He was very patient with all our questions.I also have to give a shout out to Colten he went above and beyond with us during the walk through on pick up day. He conducted a thorough walk through, answered all our questions and has an outstanding quality of customer service.To note, we did have one bump in the road. This was our first 5th wheel. We installed the hitch in the truck ourselves but wanted to make sure when the camper was hooked up that it was level and properly installed for safety. Since there are different heights, we waited to install the last part of the hitch until we got to the dealership. We weren t asking the dealership to install, just at what level, 17,18 or 19, the hitch needed to be at. We were told that they would charge us do anything with the hitch since we didn t buy it from them. We were told well I have to pay my guys . That was such poor customer service. I explained we were not asking for anyone to do anything but to just make sure it is hitched correctly as a safety measure. To me that should be a part of the process and it was with our first purchase. I believe they can do better than to make someone feel like they aren t valued once the paperwork is signed and they take your check.I do have to apologize to the sales manager (I believe) with having to listen to my disappointment in that portion of the process.I hope Petes recognizes the folks who went above and beyond on this transaction and know they are lucky to have folks of this caliber on their team.

I d give them one store because I had to to write a review if you buy from Pete s RV do not expect to be taken care of They will take your camper in and hold it for weeks before they do anything and then when you get it back, everything they touch will be tore up. If you absolutely have to buy from Pete s RV may I suggest JM camper repair is outstanding, they will go above and beyond to make you satisfied, Pete s RV will not do that. Pete RV does not need to be in business.

We bought a 2023 Grand Design February 9,2023. Our walk through was given by Colten. He did a great job explaining details and what things do. Gave great tips for future use/ and things to buy. Colten was very pleasant and friendly.

We took our RV in for warranty work on our shower door, the service department was great to work with and very thorough. They repaired the shower door and did a complete inspection to make sure everything was good including the roof. These guys are great, I recommend them for your camper needs.

We bought our first camper today. We want to give a HUGE thank you to Pete's RV Center - Salem VA for hooking us up with this gorgeous camper. The process was so easy and fun. All of our questions were answered and everyone was so kind. We ll put this ole gal to good use for sure. We definitely recommend them for anyone wanting to buy a camper!We dealt with Lamar and he was so friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure that we found a camper that met our needs.

My sister and I purchased a ModBug trailer, and Colton was the young man who explained all the "how to's". He was so patient with all our questions. He explained and demonstrated everything, more than once if needed. It was a fun experience. We are so happy with our ModBug and are excited to start using it!

Pete's RV Salem is hands down a great place. From the sales manager, Brian, to Chris, Keith, David and John in service. This team recognized our issue and had us on the road much quicker than ever expected. This location is one of many under the Pete's RV company, and should be the model for all of their other locations to emulate. I will not hesitate to return to them when/if needed and would recommend anyone who listens to do the same.
