Jake and Jacob were both excellent. Myself and my husband were pretty much stranded at their tire shop and we didn t have anyway to get money due to my bank freezing my account. Both of these gentleman were pulling all the stops to ensure we got home! They were calling around, everywhere. Looking for used tires, anything to make it to where they could get us back on the road and safely home. These two were EXCEPTIONAL at their job, even though my husband and I had been there all day and I was crying at a few points, they handled my situation like pros! I d recommend them to anyone.

Top Notch Service!!! I was in this area working and my wheels were grinding. I had just got off a 12 hr night shift when I discovered it. I was barely able to drive my truck to a shop but I made it to Mr. Tire in Salem. James helped me out tremendously! He worked me in with no issue at all. He was so polite and he even showed me what was wrong with my truck. He and William got the job done and my truck has been great since!!!!! Thank you so much!

I love getting my oil changed here! I have been going here for 5 years now, I love having my tires rotation included in the rate. The manager was very nice and professional. I did not have a hard time getting in and out in a timely manner. I appreciate the clean restroom and the free coffee. And I am thankful for them handling the resets that are needed. One time I did not go here and they didn't do the reset and it kept showing that I needed the service. The mileage kept going up and up.

I was on a road trip and stopped at the Mr. Tire store in Salem to get a bulb replaced. Even though my car issue was minor, the staff showed concern for my need to get back on the road as quickly as possible. I appreciated their prompt service and smiling faces. Great customer service!

We would give the guys working today 10 STARS! On the road traveling south for some racing fun and our valve stem broke at a gas station across the street from Mr Tire. Bad luck? No way! They had us fixed up and moving in 10 minutes!!! Highly recommend!!!

Got a nail in our tire on the way to a work conference. They fixed it very quickly, allowing us to still get to our conference on time. Highly recommend.

The people at this location are always so helpful with me any my twins when I m coming and answer all my questions and let me know when it time for me to come in for my next oil change or to fix something with my Vechile. I always have a peace of mind and try to give me the best price for whatever I need. Glad to have find this company never have to worry about being a women and getting rip off

The staff at the Mr Tire in Salem, VA is amazing. They are honest and always respectful of my tight budget. This is very important being a single female. This is the only shop I go to for all my car repairs and tires. Great shop.

Tried to get an Inspection. Got there at 6:45 am. Opens at 7:30am. Was told when I got there that the Inspector didn't show up until 9:30am, I would have to leave my vehicle ALL day.. for a 20 min. Inspection... Won't EVER USE this Establishment For ANY REASON...

Love the guys at the shop. Super nice and knowledgeable, always a pleasure to work with. You can't beat their prices (my truck oil change was $22 with tax- best in town) I've come over an hour lunch break (made an appointment online) and they've had me in and out fast. Absolutely love the overall attitude of their manager and his team. I send all my friends here whether they're car junkies or know nothing about them. Highly recommend.

Had my valve stem fixed here. Made it to Bakersfield California. They didn't torque my lug nuts properly. Sheared my lug nuts off and almost died. I have proof!!

Great guys at Mr. Tire. I was in a bind with my travel trailer went I lost a tire. Good guys, fixed me right up with a new tire and awesome price ! Thanks Todd for going above and beyond helping us. Nothing like southern hospitality!

Highly recommend!! We needed a new tire and even though they were pretty busy, they had us in and out of there in no time at all! Everyone was so kind and respectful, overall it was a wonderful experience :) Thank you!!

Exceptional service! Had a tire emergency heading out of town this morning for a 3 hour drive on a tight deadline. They worked me in, fixed my tire, and I was on my way. Made it there and back today with no more issues. Highly recommend James and his crew! Thank you guys!

Needed a battery then an alternator which was bad. Were there for a few hours with our daughter and three grandsons all 5 and under. Service was great and sharing their space with us was fine with them until they got the parts and then installed them. We were able to get home with no problems.

As of mid 2022, this place has gone downhill significantly. They used to be great, but they've lost all but 1 of their good mechanics in the last year and gone through half a dozen managers in 24 months.Last oil change for me they didn't reset my dash or fill out a sticker to show the odometer reading at the time. Today I called to see if they could look it up in the system so I know when I'm due again. The mileage they have in the system from a few months ago is about 60,000 miles off from what it is now...So no sticker, no dash reading, and incorrect data entry has left me guessing when I need another oil change.Another time in July I called to get an inspection done. By law you can't really make an appointment for that, but I was told if I drop it off the next morning, they'd get it done. Well 4pm rolls around and I hadn't heard anything so I called and they told me they got busy and couldn't do it... They couldn't have at least told me sooner?!The manager just brushes it off like it's nothing.

My daughter and I traveled from the Springfield, MO area to Salem, VA. On the way, we had a blowout on I-81 in the middle of the night that required us to call a service truck just to get the tire off the vehicle due to swollen lug nuts.After checking in to our not so nice motel at basically sunrise, we got a few hours of sleep, and I began looking for a place to get a new tire. From reading the good reviews, I decided to go with Mr. Tire. James was super helpful!! He was very kind and courteous. We ended up getting new tires and lug nuts all around on the vehicle.Not only did James make sure we got everything we needed for our car, he also suggested a much nicer hotel for us to stay in the rest of our trip that was very affordable.Finally, James asked us to stop by just to ensure our lug nuts were properly torqued down before we headed home. We were immediately taken care of, and on our way. The quality of service at Mr. Tire left nothing but a 100% good impression on us. When we visit Salem again in the future, I will probably stop by just to say hi to James and the guys. They made us feel like family while we were away from home.I would 100% recommend Mr. Tire in Salem, VA!!

I was from out of town, stranded with a flat tire on a long road trip. I tried 3 other local places and they were no help. I was stressed and exhausted.Mr. Tire had kind friendly staff; were very affordable; and got the job done in a timely manner. Really thankful for their service!

My husband and I are seniors on a fixed income. We needed tires and went to Mr. TIRE in Salem VA. The staff took us right in and the wonderful manager gave us a discount which helped so much. The staff is FANTASTIC.

Wonderful service had a tire emergency with going pass a work zone and got a big screw in my tire and they were the only people that would take me right in and help me! 10/10 amazing:)

I called the shop early Monday to order a tire and set up a service appointment. Chris was really courteous to speak over the phone with. He took care of my request instantly. I could tell he worked hard to get the kind that I had requested.The next day, I called back to see if I can bring my car in. I got David this time. He was polite and made time to get my car in immediately.My new tire came with excellent services with lifetime warranty for tire rotation, balancing, and some other things.The workers at this place are awesome! Highly recommend!

My fianc�e and I had a flat tire first thing in the morning and we were there waiting for them to open and Mr Wilson, the assistant manager, was absolutely amazing! He helped us out the best way he could, with an affordable tire and had it on in less than 30 minutes. He even went to as far as ask about the problems with our vehicle and is continuing to help us. Very much appreciated!

I came to this Mr. Tire on 2/23/2022 to get an oil change, 3 lights switched out, and a VA state inspection. I was later informed that my rear brakes needed to be changed and that my total would be $890. Initially I said go ahead and change it but after a bit of googling, found that that's way too high for what I was getting done. I went in and told them that was way too high and to stop the service, I was then told that they could lower the cost of the service, which seems shady. I ended up telling them to stop the service completely as I've not had any problems with my brakes. I ended up paying for my oil change, lights, and a failed state inspection. Upon getting my car back I found that they hadn't changed my lights, hadn't changed the oil (it was black and a quart low.) I have reason to believe something happened with my doors or handles as they're now sticking when I try to open them. On top of all of this, I saw a bunch of stuff from my glove box in my seats and found that they had rooted through my things and oddly $5 is missing from my glove box.

Had all four brand new tires mounted in June and two days ago had a full blow out driving down electric road and my tire exploded off the rim itself and the other tires I also have to replace now due to improper mounting. I ve also had many oil changes and requested for them to check fluid and come to find out all my fluids were almost empty. Find a better set of mechanic trust me.
