From the moment we arrived to look at vehicles we never felt pressured. In fact, we left and came back a week later to make sure that was the truck we wanted The vehicle we purchased was a fair price and was discounted a bit as well. Buddy the GMC manager and Johnny our salesman were awesome! I can t say enough pleasant things about them. Even AFTER the purchase, we had a few questions and they responded promptly, even looked into a few things for us without hesitation.In an age where most prefer not to have to go to the dealership because of a dreadful experience not here, we enjoyed the car experience and wouldn t dare to think to go elsewhere!Here, you are treated like family. From the upper management to finance personnel to salespersons; everyone was very friendly and down to earth. We were shown respect and that speaks volumes coming from a minority group.In all, if you ve been treated harsh or inferior elsewhere and have a disdain for car salesmen, then come to Hart Motors where they actually value their customers and make the car buying experience wonderful!

I am 100% ticked off at Hart Motor Company. On Dec 2nd Me , my wife and my son went there to look for a used car for him. We found one we kinda liked that was about $10,000. Went for a test drive and signed some things to have our credit checked to see if we would qualify for a POSSIBLE loan. It was late Saturday and we were told it would be Monday before we heard anything. We thought about it over the weekend and realized how overpriced the car was and decided we weren t going to get it.My son called Monday and was going to talk to them about maybe lowering the price but they just said the car was being detailed and they would get back with him. He never heard from them again.Jump to Dec 27 when we both get letters in the mail saying our loan for over $18,000 !!! had been denied ! What!?!?I called the guy we dealt with the day and he seemed confused about it and said he would call me back. He never did. I emailed Hart and never heard back.Today I get ANOTHER letter from ANOTHER bank stating I d been denied for that $18,000 loan! I messaged Hart on Facebook and surprisingly they responded. Within a couple of hours the guy we met that first day calls. He acts like he d been trying to get in touch with me but must have had the wrong number. He was like Oh yeah so they denied the first loan so we found something else for you and tried that. and so on. So I made it clear that we didn t want any other banks contacted or anything else to do with them.I have continued to message Hart and said I do not want that guy contacting me again. And that they did these things without permission and loan attempts like this could affect our credit.

The Service center is the worst ever!You call to get your new Truck inspected with there so called free inspection when you buy a vehicle there.I get put on hold for over 5 min and all I get is the receptionist saying hold please! She say a million times a day!So sad they can t service what they sell!So Done with them !Rick Householder

I Just bought my daughter's first car from Hart. Our salesperson Eddie Hodge was very easy going and accommodating. I believe we got it for a very fair price with no hassle and it was probably the quickest buying experience compared to any of my other car purchases. Highly recommend 5*

Woody agreed to look at my father s truck, which my mother needed to sell after he very recently passed away. Upon my mother meeting Woody, he immediately demanded the keys and began to tell her how terrible the paint was on the truck (it certainly is not). Then he took the truck down to service, and returned to very rudely offer to tell her all the things wrong with the truck.Unbeknownst to this man, my mother had already had the truck looked at and knows exactly what needs to be fixed on this truck.I m appalled that this salesperson, who knew my newly-widowed mother s circumstances, would come at her in full on car salesman mode. I understand this is a business, but if you can t resist the urge to lowball a financially strapped widow, please don t attempt to help . He couldn t be bothered to show any kindness or compassion, and completely wasted her time. I will not be recommending him to any of my colleagues or friends.

I had a terrific buying experience with Craig Bell. He is very knowledgeable, quickly responsive to all inquiries, just a very helpful salesman. No pressure, no gimmicks, very personable. Hart Kia evidently strives to satisfy its customers and to be attentive to their needs. Will be a pleasure to do business with Hart again.

Will open with the technicians doing the hands-on work and staff at the counter in the Service department are great.The type and experience of interaction received 12/22/2022 during pickup of our vehicle after about ~8 months of sitting for repair was awful with the manager of the Service Desk.Understanding the supply chain issues and circumstances out of Harts control, with no replacement engine being available for about 8 months, there were concerns of the vehicle sitting dormant, potential issues with flat spotting the tires, battery, seals, etc... Hopefully there would be no ancillary problems.For historical context, the additional issue of there being no loaner vehicles while the car was in the shop for use was problematic. There was no offer to cover the cost of a rental, or coverage beyond the coverage offered by the warranty, which was 2 weeks (or 10 days) max.Upon arrival 12/22/22 was made aware a new battery had been installed, a charge in the sum of $184.93. Just a few months earlier in the year a new battery had been installed 4/15/22, within 1-2 weeks of the engine suffering failure and going in for repair at Hart near the end of April 2022, and within 8 months would seem to require yet another new battery.Was informed by the service manager the battery had not been disconnected in the vehicle sitting for repair, and while under load from the computer and electronics had become in such a state it could not be recovered to viable through charging. Would not retain a charge, and a dealership battery had been installed.They would not remove the cost for the required battery installed by Hart from the statement, and would say things like, I'm going to help you, while their actions would indicate a different intent being unwilling to compromise or provide actual positive customer service, refusing to remove the cost of the battery or installation.I appreciate the efforts and communication of the other employees at Hart, specifically Jennie, Heather, Ron, and Bert who were very helpful. With such a long term effort of waiting, you end up chatting with a variety of folks working towards resolution. Unfortunately these good deeds by the staff would be offset and undone single-handedly by the lack of effort, taking zero ownership, and punting accountability by the Service Desk manager who seemed unwilling to compromise nor leverage the opportunity to be proactive. This made for a terrible experience. Over the a battery, he would be willing to offer only an extremely negative experience.I can not recommend them and have only tales of caution for those asking, "How was the experience at Hart Motors?".

I was in an accident and needed my car fixed so I went to Hart because that's where I purchased it from. I wanted an estimate and I wanted it fixed there. They treated me very well. I got estimate and I know exactly what to expect when I drop my car off to be fixed. They're going to take me to pick up my rental. I know exactly how long it takes to get it back. Just really put my mind at ease because this is the first time I've had to do this so I was so worried about EVERYTHING. Really positive experience.Thanks Hart's

Buying my truck was not the problem but there service department don't know what the word service meant.I toke all day for them to contact me and let me know they can not get the part.And could not set up for me to get a rental and have it there.They sale exstanted warranty but do not know the details of there contact information. This was the second disappointing service call with them I never going to buy a truck from them.They don't know when the part is going to be there is a AC compressor and I called OReilly they have it there the next day.I did not want to give them one star!!! I nerver going there again the first time they left my hood open windows down in the rain and they light bulbs they exchanged was not working check your work!!!

Not satisfied with my services AT ALL, I ve been going to this dealer since I moved to Roanoke, so about a year . They kept my vehicle ALL DAY past 5pm for a simple oil change and after my vehicle returned the engine light still on. The staff are RACIST and the level of professionalism is ridiculously low.I recently took my 2021 truck to its original dealer, and they found a hose that was loose which kept my engine light on. This was the demise of the mechanics at Hart Motor to keep me returning, forcing an engine light on a 2021 GMC is unbecoming of any dealer but especially those who carry GMC s brand.STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!!!!

Thoroughly disappointed with our experience and treatment this past week from Woody. We have purchased multiple vehicles from this dealership, and have sent friends and family there as well, and have never been treated so poorly. We witnessed a level of unprofessionalism we have never seen before, and truthfully we won t ever be back.

These guys...they went above and beyond making sure my car buying experience was a positive one. Their vehicles are well taken care of and clean, their service is outstanding, their prices are reasonable and their vehicles are not junkers! They have a great variety of used, barely used, new, certified cars. They made sure my car was the best it could be and then some before it left the lot! My salesman Eric was awesome and I love my car!!! Thanks Eric!

So if you need a Body shop you really can't beat Hart Motor company. Chad, Les, Janet and the crew do a great job. I just had horrible paint damage from drywall falling on my car and they made it look better than before. Awesome.Also Robert, Jared and the parts crew always come through for me Keep it up guys!

Hart has had my vehicle for a week. It was towed in, I understand it has to be worked in. However, when I asked if they could provide a rental due to not having another vehicle. I was told I was free to rent one on my own. My previous experience with Feller's GMC provided a rental when they were unable to repair my vehicle within a reasonable time frame. I wasn't rushing them, I just wanted transportation while my vehicle is being repaired

I bought a GMC Yukon XL in July and had great customer service by Johnny. I recently got a recall in the mail stating there are issues with the 3rd row seatbelts and the letter advised to not let passengers ride in the 3rd row until fixed. The letter also states there are currently no parts to fix the issue. Starting last week I tried calling the service department 3 times with no answer. Finally today I was able to speak with Heather whom stated her boss currently cannot speak due to losing his voice. I asked Heather if I would receive a loaner since we are unable to use the 3rd row, she stated no we have none to give you . I then asked will you all cover the bill if something happens to someone while sitting in the 3rd row. Heather stated good question . Heather stated she would have her boss call me once his voice returned. I think this is absolutely absurd, I had to call 4 times just to speak with someone, now I am unable to use part of my car and they will not provided a loaner. I called GMC directly. They said I could get a loaner on my own and may or may not be refunded. Had I known I would have had issues just calling to talk with service, I would NEVER had bought a car with them. This is poor customer service.

I have had good service from them and HORRIBLE service. After this last visit I will NEVER go back. After having just passed my safety inspection and getting certified at Firestone, I brought my car in for an alignment and to have a noise and vibration checked out. After the Hart mechanic insisted my car was unsafe for road testing until I spent $1,000 on a dangerous oil leak that I never noticed (nor did the prior inspection) they upsold me $1,300 repairs that did absolutely NOTHING to fix my original issues. I can t prove there wasn t a leak but I absolutely feel scammed. I ll NEVER go back!And NO! The alternator replacement (that I m certain was unnecessary) didn t do a thing to reduce the noise or the vibration.

Hart Motors is the absolute best! I ve purchased my last two vehicles from this dealership and I am beyond grateful. Eddie Hodge is my absolute favorite sales consultant. He has the best personality and always there to make sure the customer is satisfied completely with their purchase. Eddie and the rest of the salesmen at the dealership are absolutely amazing and friendly !

The whole team at Hart Motor Company is awesome. They really went above and beyond when I was having a really hard time finding someone to work with me. They got me a great car at a really good price. I had other dealerships tell me no or to come back when my situation improved. Matt and Eric jumped in without knowing me and got it figured out. I will forever be grateful. As a single mom of three boys I really needed a car. Thanks to everyone here I have the nicest car I have ever had .I would recommend them to anyone.

Edited review: from 5 stars to 2I don t know what happened, but service is absolutely horrible now.The only reliable and good aspects that we know about at Hart Motors is Judy and Jenny.We have had an awful time getting our truck back on time, and some people have been exceptionally rude. We re not coming back after purchasing 5 vehicles. We re done.

Through family and friends I had always heard of Harts great reputation. After looking on Harts website I went there and was helped by Eric Darby. He was very helpful showing all the features and going through the background of the used truck. Hart Motors has a great family atmosphere and I will go back to Hart for my next purchase!

Came from Ohio to purchase a 2022 GMC truck. They completed everything for me over the phone was in and out within 30 minutes. Tim Foutz,Eric Matthews, and Jack Hart made it very simple. No haggling over price and worked to get my company the best interest rate.

Hart Motors is truly a hometown dealership. Our purchase was the easiest most clear and up front purchase we ve ever had. I just bought my first vehicle from Hart and am very glad about the way they treated me. if any are in the market for a vehicle i suggest they visit Hart first. The people are very nice, not pushy and care about your needs.All during the transaction, i felt comfortable that the Hart people would not take advantage of me. My sales person was Robert(Eddie) hodge and he is a straight forward nice guy .

This was without a doubt the best and friendliness dealership we have ever dealt with since buying our first vehicle in northern Virginia 58 years ago! We were really impressed with our salesman Hugh E.Yogi Roberts and all the folks from sales to financing to sales manager ans sales consultant. They took all the time necessary to clearly explain to us everything about the vehicle and showed us how it worked and went through the possibilities of everything the GMC Acadia would and can do to make our driving a pleasure in the future. We will definitely be back to Hart for all out future service and when the time comes to see about purchasing another vehicle. You'll never meet a more pleasant and knowledgeable group of folks that will take all the time you need to explain anything about a vehicle to you. Thanks again to all the folks at Hart Motor Company for the most pleasant experience we've ever encountered when buying a new vehicle.
