The new manager is awesome! Treated me great- and service was fast. Really felt like they cared more about what was best for me then collecting my money. Highly recommend!

I had a horrible experience down the road at National Tire and Battery and came to Goodyear to have my tire checked as the light had come on and I was headed out of town. A nice young man came out in the rain and checked each tire for me and added air. He discussed options with me and recommended I continue on my trip and check it later. Great experience! Don t go to NTB, use the Goodyear store if you are in Salem.

These guys saved me. The air machine at Sheetz depleted most of the air from my tires. I had enough to drive to Goodyear and they fixed it in 10 minutes. The guys that worked there were very nice too!

Had appointment and 2hrs later vehicle was still not in shop. The younger staff seem to be more interested in talking and not working. Will never go back, used to be a great outfit. I wasn't the only one there that felt the same.

Had an issue with my battery light on. I was on the interstate with 280 miles to go. I stopped in Friday at 2 pm. They could not check it then. I got a hotel room for the night. Turned out to be nothing to worry about. They didn't try to fix something that wasn't actually broke.

Terrible experience. I was told it would take 2-3 hours for a state inspection. I waited patiently for three hours and then requested my vehicle as I had an another appointment. Staff did not facilitate giving me my vehicle, did not care that they had kept me for nearly four hours, waiting, and worse. I politely asked them, x 4, to release my vehicle, which was "finished".Horrible customer service. No one at the counter and when I looked through the service window to the bay area, Ron, the inspector, instructed this burly mechanic to get in my face and tell me to move away from the window (bouncer style). He was not a wearing a mask, was clearly trying to intimidate me.I would not recommend this "place of business" to anyone, especially women.I was finally given my keys, after being there for nearly four hours and was very late for my medical appointment.

Ron (service writer) and Josh (technician) worked really well with me. Ron made sure my Escape got the alignment it was due, and Josh went above and beyond with the alignment and inspection.

We were driving home from Christmas and had two blow outs on our tires. Luckily we had great service from Bobby and Troy as they worked to get a replacement wheel short order and Christopher who replaced both tires quickly and efficiently. If you have to have a break down the Goodyear in Salem, VA is the place to get it fixed. They are quick, friendly, and hard working.

I had a flat tire that was irreparable and ended up needing to have my car towed to the Salem GoodYear. I arrived with my car at 5:15. The business closed at 6. It was recommended that I get 4 new tires as my tires were 7 yrs old. Christian was very kind to stay late to put on my tires. I've been buying tires for years from Good Year and always have been very pleased with my tires and the service I received. I'm grateful for the fantastic customer service that I received last night!

Troy and Bobby were amazing! They went above and beyond when we had damage to a new tire. We usually got tires from Sam's club it other places but we will definitely be getting all our tires in the future from here. The fantastic customer service and support makes it well with it to make the drive from Floyd.

I had a tire going down and Ron told me to bring it by and he would work it in. I dropped it off today and in a couple of hours he called and said it was ready to go. EXTREMELY reasonable price and great service. No clue where I picked up that little screw, but it is in my pocket now and not in my tire. Thanks Ron & Team! Appreciate you guys working me in today.

I booked a same day appointment to get my tires balanced, understanding that it wasn't very much notice, but the slot was available so I figured it was OK. I showed up and the man at the counter acted like he didn't think they'd be able to fit it in, but said he'd check something. We stood there in silence for a solid 15 mins while he did lots of clicking on the computer, it was super awkward lol. But then they checked in my car and told me it would be an hour and a half or so, and it was. I went on my merry way and it was a noticeably smoother ride and I was pleased. However, one month later, I noticed some strange sounds coming from my wheels. Turns out on one of my back wheels, one lug nut was super loose, and another lug nut was missing entirely. This is super dangerous, my wheel could have come off. No one has touched my wheels since I visited Goodyear, and I'm pretty alarmed that the lug nuts weren't fastened more carefully. Fortunately I pay careful attention to my car and stopped driving it when I started hearing little noises or it could have ended in disaster for me and my kids.

We had them install 4 new Goodyear Assurance tires on my wife car. So far so good, not sure how long these tires are going to hold up. We tried to do the contact free method but they didn't know what we were talking about. I'm guessing they didn't have enough help.

Fast service, good communication, and professional staff. Can t ask for much else. Got four new tires and a state inspection done in a little over 3 hours. Squeezed in my inspection even though they thought they wouldn t be able to get to it until the next day.

I paid $457.50 for 1 wheel bearing. The labor was $200 had my car for 2 &1/2 days said because of short staff. Was still naming other things that can get done. No estimate after diagnosis either. I believed it could have been cheaper. I keep all my paperwork and record conversations. Operator name Robert Moore

Scheduled my maintenance visit 3weeks out. When I arrived was told that it was never entered into the system. They promptly took my car in and got me out as quickly as they could.

Had to come up close to closing to deal with a claim on a brand new tire that had a rock go completely through the tread. We didn't even buy the tire at the shop (bought at Sam's club), and they were extremely helpful in getting our claim sorted and the new tire put on. Not only did Troy & Bobby stay late to help get us squared away, but also gave us helpful information should we have this kind of trouble ever again. Definitely worth the drive up from Floyd!

Wonderful people who fixed my car when it broke down 500 miles from my home. They were fast, reliable, kept in contact with me as I had to rent a car and leave it for 3 days while I contributed on my trip which I could enjoy with peace of mind.

NTB in Salem finally ran me away. These guys got my F150 inspected, installed four new tires, alignment and took care of a couple of other small issues I had. Dropped it off about 9 am for them to have the entire day; they were done at 1pm. The store front and shop was clean and inviting. Troy at the front was professional and efficient. They've got my business going forward.

Loved my overall experience with them ! Everyone was wonderful Randy and chad were both very awesome in handling my vehicle needs. As well as the installers they work fast, had my car aligned, tires put on, check and inspected in under 2 hours. The only downfall was the scheduling online part is not as accurate and I would like for it to be. Not sure if that s something they can control or if corporate handles the website... either way, they called me immediately letting me know that did not work for their schedule, changed it to fit both of our schedules, the first time I went it was a nightmare did not have the wheel lock that takes the bolts off (drive a VW) so I couldn t get it done, dealership never gave me one (bought it used) called back a week later when my part came in and they got me on the schedule the same day I called, might of been my luck but they work hard to ensure their customers are happy, you can t satisfy everyone but this customer sure will be coming back!!!! Thank you all so much!

They were very helpful and did a quick job! Showed me exactly what was wrong with my tires before doing the job and gave me a very reasonable price, acknowledging that I m a college student. All in all, very great service!

If I could give them zero stars I would. Very dishonest people. Tried to charge me around 100 bucks for a new valve stem. Another place just fixed the old one. Told me they couldn't patch a tire for me another time because I had already plugged it. Said I had to buy a new tire. Again another place in town fixed me right up with a patch. Just a bunch of crooks trying to sell parts is my opinion.

I just had an incredible experience at this store. They were busy and I had to wait a little while, but they took good care of me and my car. They have a new manager, Donnie, and he is awesome! Starting off the day with a tire issue is never a pleasant way to begin a day, but Donnie was friendly, accommodating, and honest. Spending part of my morning at Goodyear was not in my plans, but Donnie did what he could to make it as pleasant as possible.

Ronald Matheus was extremely helpful in dealing my situation. We showed up less than 1 hour prior to closing on Saturday June 26 with a flat tire. The tire was brand new. Just purchased 5 days before. The tire was fine. They had to replace the stem. Was very surprised to have to pay only $24.82. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

Stopped here while traveling after getting a nail in my tire. They were fantastic. Randy was very helpful and friendly. Mark was finished quickly and both had me ready to get back on the road in about 30 minutes. Thanks!!

I had 5 hours left in my drive home when I got a flat tire. Troy at the front desk helped me out and got me on the repair schedule. Christian pulled my car in and got my tire patched up. Fast and great service. They saved my trip.
