Kenny,Jennifer and Nugget were a delight to work with.being 3 hours away,Kenny took truck to local mechanic I found on Google and had it checked out. Drove up from Hickory,North Carolina and picked my vehicle up.They even recommended a local restaurant for me and my buddy to eat at,and yes Kenny it was great,we being 2 old truck drivers,always ask where the locals eat they will point you to the best eating joint around. Highly recommend checking them out when you're looking for your next vehicle.

Competition Cars and Classics is a great place to buy affordable AS IS vehicles. My wife and I have bought 3 vehicles from them, and have been very happy with our purchases. My wife bought her car from them about 8 years ago, and she still drives it everywhere. I bought a car from them 6 years ago. I drove it for 5 1/2 years, until I needed a bigger vehicle for our growing family. So, I went to Competition for a SUV. Are the cars been perfect? No. There are small dents, chips, dings, and scratches, but all of that was disclosed before buying. Have we had to have work done on them? Yes. A car is a car and will need some work at some point (just like people have to go to the doctor at some point). This is not the car dealer s fault. Kenny and Jennifer are great people and honest about their cars. We always recommend them when people are looking for a good used car dealership. If you are in the market for a used car in the Salem area, stop by and see the great folks at Competition Cars and Classics.

I purchased a vehicle from here over 5 years ago and I still own it as my daily vehicle. The owner and his wife are lovely people. You can tell it is a staple local mom and pop dealership and they seem to be selective on the vehicles that are out on the lot. I will be back for when my son is of driving age because I know from my experience this hometown dealership is where I would come back to and conduct business with again. Thank you for being a genuine used car dealership and I have been extremely happy with my purchase from 2018.

It has been almost 5 years since I bought my 2006 Toyota Camry and it is still running well! I had a great experience with Kenny. He was willing to negotiate to a fair price and was not pushy like most car salesmen. I would definitely recommend Competition Cars and Classics to anyone looking for a used vehicle!

I have worked with Kenny a few times on deals for mutual customers, and he has always been friendly, honest and just great to work with! Because of my dealings with this dealership professionally, I referred my brother to this lot for his very first car purchase a while back. While there was a minor hiccup with the title following the transaction, Kenny was quick to communicate and did EVERYTHING to make things right. My brother is still happily driving that vehicle over a year later! If you are looking for an honest dealer (because trust me, they are rare), Kenny is who you need to contact!!

Bought a truck for my daughter. Was easy process, friendly. No the truck was not perfect but the price was. Was able to drive before purchase and was told could take to our mechanic to have it checked. I've bought brand new cars at dealers and had trouble sooner than she had with her truck. My next ride will come from here. Great people. I'd give a 10 but only allows a 5

Kenny and his wife Jennifer have a great selection of budget friendly vehicles. You can tell by the appearance of the lot and their vehicles they care. If you re looking for a quality vehicle without all the big dealer games, go see these fine folks. They ll take great care of you and help you find a nice car that will serve your needs!

I bought a car here in 2019 for a very affordable price. I didn t have long term expectations for the car but to my surprise it lasted me almost 4 years. For the price I bought it, to get 4 fully functioning years and nearly 50,000 miles out of the car is nothing short of amazing. Would recommend this dealership to anyone.

Kenny is an Honest, hard working man! If you buy from him he tells you everything he could possibly know about each and every vehicle he has on his lot. He will not sell you something that he knows has issues. If you want to make a good As Is car purchase I promise you that he will be upfront and does his best to sell good, clean, affordable used vehicles. GO SEE KENNY- You won t be disappointed!!

I purchased my older son's first car from Competition Cars about four years ago(and thought I left a review then, but it looks like I didn't), and we've been really happy with it. It was a very fair price, and there have been zero issues with it.When it was now time to buy my younger son his first car a few weeks ago, I actually did look at a few cars at other dealers first. I instantly regretted it - from dealers that barely spoke English, pushy selling tactics, and cars that were completely misrepresented, I knew I should have just went to Competition Cars to begin with. I went there to check out the car I had seen on their website, and just like my previous experience, the car was fairly priced - actually the lowest priced of all the 2013+ Accords I was considering, and in better shape than any of the others I looked at. They filled me in on the couple minor issues the car had, we worked out a deal, and I left happy!The Martin's (no relation to them, by the way), and their puppy that greets you at the door, are a great couple of people, the only used car lot I'd recommend to anybody.

Our family has purchased 3 cars from Competition Cars and Classics over the past few years. Kenny and Jennifer have always been honest about the cars and any potential issues. Never had any issues. You can definitely trust this dealership to be honest about the cars they sell.

Fair honest car dealer....that's almost unheard of! I bought a Toyota Sequoia from Kenny about four years ago and still love it. I have moved away but still always recommend people to do business with him and his wife. They are good people!

Extremely pleased with my purchase. I bought a higher-mileage Hyundai sedan in 2020 from Kenny and Co. As of 2/24/24, it is still running top shelf with regular preventative maintenance. 209K and climbing.I can't say enough positive about Competition Cars and Classics. Made a great purchase and a great friend.

I have never bought a car here but If he ever has something I'm in the market for I would check it out. Kenny is super honest about his vehicles on social media. (He post some funny content aswell). Just keep in mind this just like any other used car lot you should get your mechanic to check out a car before buying.

I have never bought a car or truck from them but they used the shop I worked at for a while to get their vehicles checked. They've always been honest and upfront about any vehicle they are selling. I've told several people to try them before any major dealer. Small business, honest, and dedicated companies are hard to come by anymore.

Went with my son to purchase a car and ran across this lot that had some pretty decent cars. We test drove a Buick and went to put air in the tires as they looked a little low and the check tire pressure light was on we summed it up as it had been parked a while so the pressure may have gone down. We also stopped by the Oil change place to check the air pressure and make sure it had the correct amount as the light was still on after driving a bit. My son decided on the Buick we did bring the tire light up to the owners wife and she said it may be a sensor my son bought the car this was on 02/21/2024 by 02/23/2024 the check engine light has come on out of the blue we took it to auto zone and the machine said its the catalytic convertor, the tire pressure light is still on as well, the steering has become super hard even after putting steering fluid in it, the gears are becoming hard to change and we have to lift the panel up to change it. its so many things happening after merely 2 days. The car was bought AS IS so im not in the mood to argue about my son only having this car 2 days but we are in the process of saving all the findings and keeping paperwork to contact someone who can help us legally. This is absolutely ridiculousUPDATE: I am unable to upload any photos I have of the service being done currently that I have but after having the car checked thoroughly on what the issues may be it needs a catalytic convertor and the trouble steering is due to it needing a new rack and pinion because the current one is bad and there is a few leaks. Things that just dont happen in days the issues were already there

I purchased a car from this location over two years ago, they had the vehicle I was looking for at a great price and was honest about every issue with the vehicle. When the time comes this will be the place my daughters will get their first cars. Oh and by the way, car is still running great!!

My wife bought a truck from here. Last may a year ago. Well truck ran good for 4 months now we're out of a truck. I been in the process of trying to get it run. I'm just so upset with this place. The guy told my wife that they go through these vehicles with there mechanic and make sure they are good vehicles. I'm really big on detailing.When she brought it home I noticed then that only 1 plug wire was new. Well I didn't say anything cause I didn't want to seem like I was just being picky. But to me being honest would be to change all 8 not just 1 of them just to go cheap. You have to buy the wire by the sets? But any ways buy at your own risk cause I'm out 11000 for a truck. That I can't drive.

Just helped my 18 year old son purchase a car from Competition...I've been through a lot of car purchase experiences in my life and this was hands down the BEST experience I've ever had! They are good people's right here. I wanted a Yukon Denali for my wife without the AFM system and they helped me get the nicest one I have ever seen. Was totally honest about the few things it needed and were great to work with. If you want good honest people to deal with Kenny is your man. He will tell you something you don't want to hear instead of lying to you like most.

I bought a Scion xB from this car place yesterday and I absolutely love it. The reviews and the way they answered the people back are what led me to them! I did my research and drove the car and looked it completely over and decided this was the best option for me ! The man and his wife were very friendly. And it was a quick and easy experience! Small dealership with big personality, a breath of fresh air from the monotony of other car lots. Owner is genuine and was honest about the good and bad of each vehicle, offering valuable information that ultimately helped me decide which was right for me.It's hard to find trustworthy salesmen, but Kenny's approach helps to restore my faith in the idea.
