I spent 4 days going to Auto Zone every day , they'd call and say they had the air filter I ordered. I'd show up and it was one for a while other car. They did this for four days with the same filter every time saying it was a mistake and they'd now ordered the right one. Never was, had to fight for a refund, that I had a receipt for! Then I came to Advance Auto Parts and they didn't have my filter in stock but they said they could order it from Roanoke for the next day. So I explained everything I'd been through and the girl who helped me (Bree Hager) had it shipped and there the exact same day, it was the right filter and they even called to let me know! Thank you guy's and gal!

Shout-out to Mike and Paul for helping me keep my car road ready! They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They provide free battery installation, charging and analysis, alternator and starter testing, they will also install new wipers and even provide loaner tools to help you with your maintenance! This store typically always has the parts and extras needed to keep you on the road and out of the shop! I highly recommend this location and they have gained a lifelong customer!

Helpful employees who went above and beyond to help me try to fix my car. Not happy about the selection of parts that they have on demand in the store and what parts they do have aren't very affordable. Auto Zone and Walmart were the more affordable options for me. I hate that too and really wanted to give them my business because that store has been around for my whole life. This day in age though, affordable parts are what I need to keep my vehicle on the road.

I have went here for years and never had a problem until now. I needed a bulb for my turn signal and the guy helping me type it into the computer but the computer told him the wrong type of bulb. I did not know that until after I had came home. It also charged me twice so I had to go back the following day to return the first set of bulbs, be reimbursed for the second set that I was charged for and pick out the incorrect bulb. They are very understanding and helpful there it was just I guess a system error but still a pain to go through. They also didn't ask for my phone number so I didn't get credit for the purchase in my loyalty account and the shelf price said the item was $5 something but I was charged $7 something.

Thomas helped me install a part even though it was very hot and ended up being far more complicated than we initially thought. Never complained once. The whole team here is made of excellent people. I couldn't recommend it more from my experience.

Be nice if I got the correct parts. Don't seem to happen often here.Moved it up to 5 stars, started using them again 2 years ago. Doug has done a great job and has a good crew.

If I could give a zero star I would. This post is not meant to be banter but it was the worst service I have ever received in my life. They ordered the wrong part after an extensive deliberation over the phone for 45 minutes to ensure that it was the correct part. When I went to pick it up, they had ordered the complete wrong part which left me unable to drive to school or work the following day. When I showed them on their computer which part it was that they needed to order I paid for the part in-full to aid in the ease of picking the part up the next day. When I returned the following day it took them 35 minutes to locate the part and argued with me about the part being ordered the previous day. After they had located the part I spent the next hour trying to explain to them how I had paid the day before and showed them my receipt but they continued to tell me that I had not paid. Then after they had figured out that I had paid previously, they tried to tack on another $30 to my bill, trying to say that they ordered the wrong part again and this one was more expensive. After another 25 minutes of arguing about the payment and how I was not going to pay extra for their mistake(twice I might add) I asked for a refund in-full and I would never be back again. After that they looked at the receipt and told me that I the part numbers actually did match up and I was all good to take the part home. I guess that will happen when you catch someone in the act trying rip you off and call bull on it.

I visited this location on 07-05-20 to pick up an order that I had ordered online. I'll start off by saying that the product that I ordered was picked off of the shelf incorrectly. Victory Red touch up paint is not the same as Torch Red paint, and had I not looked at the product before leaving, I would have left with the wrong item and lost time. Mainly and more importantly, however, is the fact that neither of your employees were wearing masks, despite a sign on the door that says that they are mandatory and that I should wear one, which I was. People can view this pandemic as however they please, but it instills zero motivation in me to ever visit this store ever again due to the blatant disregard of your employees in relation to the health of me and other customers. I should have paid the extra three dollars and just ordered from Amazon. What might be a minor inconvenience to these two employees could be life threatening to to others. I grew up in Franklin County and know the "good ol' boys" don't want to follow the rules. I wear a mask in to stores for two reasons: 1) to protect others, and 2) because employees of said stores are working through this to support me, so it's the least I can do. Do I like it? No, but I do it. And please, don't give me the "medical condition" spiel. These guys were younger than me and quite capable of doing what was right. Won't be back.

Great selection, location, and super friendly staff. I could stay in here and have a conversation for hours if I didn't have other things to take care of. Wonderful and friendly staff who are very helpful. High recommended over their competitors.

Went in today and the sales man kindly told me that he was in the middle of something and kindly asked if i could wait. So i said yes and told him i would be walking around. 20 minutes later im still walking and i look at the counter to see everyone helping others... i just walked out. He may have got busy and forgot, (which happens to everyone).

It's there if you need something don't expect much from them I have paid double for stuff from here but had to have it at the moment what do you do if at all possible wait an go to Napa or fishers Napa is betterAdvanced Auto Parts (owner)That's nice to know and even better to have a screenshot of them words because that has been one of the biggest issues and you have to be competitive in this time cause people can hit 1 button and have it on there front porch the next morning.

They were rrally helpful on ordering my wiper blades front and back and putting them on for me. The staff where very helpful and prerry quick. Decent prices to. Definitely reccomend stopping on here.

The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. They have a diagnostic tool that they will use for free (upon request), that can potentially save you hundreds of dollars from a check up by some random mechanic.

If there was no stars that's what I would click on it have been ordering a alternator since May 9th first the policy for me to get discount on line and pick up in store in Rocky Mount they did not have in Stock so called store told them what I wanted they ordered it next to get discount next I had to go to advanceauto.comorder as soon as the part came in to rocky mount I placed order online to pick up at rocky mount store so ready when I called store it was not showing in inventory they said 10 mins try again I did again again and again finally when it was discoverd the one in inventory they checked my part number they ordered wrong part so so start all over again from beginning do all that again OK part came in I ordered went and got put on vehicle WOW it doesn't work so take call them order another go to top and start again part is in go take new alternator that is bad to give back and get new one go last night they can't exchange can't find order I am out of town I tell them name that was on order and I am looking on Web site at the order right in front of me but they caint find it give order number they can't find it that can't exchange no refund because receipt is in my pocket they so I tell them I will come get tomorrow I sent copy of order to corporate I sent to store I called customer service they sent copy my friend and me had copy and original went there they have cancelled order and put money on my credit card will take 1to 3 days to be back on there the good alternator is sitting right in front of me but the only thing i can do to get it is buy it one problem the money for the one I got is not in card so I pay for it again so I have paid 240 dollars for a alternator that was 120 I have wasted at least 20 hours on phone in store and at least 20 dollars in gas going to get taking back going to get taking back that should have got the second day but it was bad but I understand things are bad sometimes but for them to cancell a order when I am standing there with ortder in hand and new alternator that is bad and been doing May 9th is totally ridiculous First your manager he said I should not yell at employees I was on phone and did not yell at no one second two employees a lady that thinks she knows it all when you are telling her that the order is under this card number didn't want number said she can find on her own and hangs up on someone and third a guy his name don't know if I can say or not he was there on the 9th or tenth and again today at 12 or 12.30 on May 20th he threatens me of phone tells me to come to store and he will fix my problem all 3 need to be fired I will not go this store for nothing as long as the 3 people are there if u move them and I see them at another store I will stop shopping there and I will make sure I post this weekly until something is done .I have never been treated like a dollar instead of a customer and want be treated like that at your store all three should be terminated for the way they treated me and the way they treat others that go there .I don't know if you have had complaint on them before if you havnt people must not have had time to complain but after this at your Rocky Mount Store I will make sure if nothing is done I will complain for them Thank You for no alternator on my Suv yet
