Made a call to AAA and had the misfortune of having this company dispatched. Call was made 0730. 1330 came and went and I was still on the side of the highway. I was told several times someone would call me if anything changed. No call. Was told they would call me back after I called several times to see where the truck was for this dross individual named Rose answered on my last attempt to call. Chick hug up after claiming I was "yelling". If I were it would be with merit being I was out on the side of the road since 0730 this morning. I canceled my AAA immediately after.

I had a AAA PLUS service call for a disabled vehicle at 7:30pm on a Sunday night . This tow truck service left us stranded in the city of Richmond for over SIX hours with no communication. Never showed, never called. NOTHING!!!. Had to contact another towing service at 2:30am . Major fail in roadside assistance service and customer service. Do not use this company if at all possible and you can avoid them. If I could give them zero stars I would

4 hour wait for someone to arrive. Nope. I ended up leaving my car overnight, taking an Uber to a hotel, and asking my dad to take a 2 hour drive to take a look at the car. Extremely unhappy with the Peace of Mind Roadside Assistance through AAA and actually offended that single mom like me and her 15 year old girl were left to rot on a cold night.

These people are absolutely amazing! I would give 10k stars if I could. They went above and beyond to perform repairs on my prius. I need a new Catalytic converter installed because mine was stolen.Stephanie was very patient dealing with my insurance, and answering all my questions. They repaired it fast and communicated well throughout the process. The shop developed and installed the shield to protect the cat from any future attempts.Beautiful work! Thank you for being honest and reliable!

My husband and I were so pleased with the way Raymond Anderson of the Collision Center fixed our car. The car was in a bad hit and run accident and was smashed in so badly on one side.He is the best plastic surgeon for cars that I have ever seen. He is honest and honorable and truly exhibits customer service. He cares about his customers and his finished product. You will be pleased to work with he and his team!Service: Auto body & trim repair

This place sent wonderful driver Roscoe via AAA when my car died on I-64. AAA calls were terrible, 1st one insisted I was in Richmond CA, 2nd one took 40 minutes to straighten it out. By then it was dark. Roscoe immediately made sure I was safe in his truck, towed car to repair shop near airport, kindly drove me to airport rental car so I could drive 1 1/2 hour home. AAA has never sent a review link to me (no wonder), please believe these folks are the real deal.

I was stuck on the side of the highway in the middle of the night by myself, and am so grateful for the help I received from Mike and Rosco for towing. They went so above and beyond the call of duty. Mike was so kind and compassionate on the phone and made me feel reassured that someone cared and would help me in a tough situation. Rosco came and diligently loaded up my car and helped me find a well lit park and ride to safely wait for my husband to pick me up. I felt so supported and cared for as a fellow human being, and because of their kindness and willingness to help me, my family and I all safely got home. They are truly phenomenal people!Service: Car towing

Unfortunately I've had to call on them twice this summer and I had such a good experience with the first driver that I called again. They were upfront and apologetic on the long wait this time, it just happened to be a very busy day today (ugh Mondays!).Both drivers have been very professional yet personable and the towing rate is fair and competitiveI'd be comfortable referring anyone to this companyService: Car towing

We had to get our car towed from the side of the highway. AAA was called and Rodd from Mobile Repairs came to our rescue. The service was excellent! He checked to make sure everyone was okay before doing anything and helped us get to a safe location to take care of the paperwork. Excellent customer service and will call them if I need help in the future! Thanks Rodd!

Wonderful company! I had to use AAA to get my car towed on the Saturday of Easter weekend. My key fobs weren't working for my car and the battery wouldn't turn over. Bryan came in 30 minutes of contacting AAA and helped us in the rain AND denied a tip! So nice!Come Monday morning, I contact the dealership where my car was towed and they "couldn't find it." I called James Smart, the owner of the company, with the order number to ensure my car made it there appropriately. He confirmed the tow job and even called the dealership personally to find out the issue. Come to find out the employees at the dealership had not even looked on the lot before telling me my vehicle wasn't out there (and throwing me into a panic attack!)Both employees of this company were MORE than helpful and kind. Hopefully we won't need a tow or more repairs any time soon, but if we do, we'll be getting in contact with Mr. Smart!

Highly recommend. I had a blowout and severe vehicle from road debris on I64 right near the goochland rest area. AAA sent Mobile repairs to tow me back home, 196 miles away. What is generally an uncomfortable experience turned into a wonderful experience. My driver Vick was incredibly nice, patient, and welcoming. I would recommend this company a million times over! When I say I had severe vehicle damage, it truly was severe, resulting in over 3,000.00 in repairs. I was stranded alone, couldn't even sit inside my vehicle and Vick was incredibly kind upon arrival. That man deserves a raise! We had a long trip to make and he made it a very comfortable one!

I needed a non emergency tow. I waited nearly 5 hours. I called twice in that time to know what s going on, just get some communication.. When I asked for a discount for it taking so long and me having taken half a day off for it, they refused and actually increased the price! The manager or boss or owner did it. Bad experience! Bad business.I get being busy because of covid and labor shortage.. but the lack of communication and the switching of prices is unfair. At least the truck driver, Bryan was a kind fella.

I took my car to Mobile Repairs Collision Center at the recommendation of a colleague. Kim Smart and her crew did an amazing job and made sure my car was repaired back to its original state. My insurance company wanted to use aftermarket parts (unbeknownst to me) and Kim explained the difference in using those vs original. She definitely went the extra mile in saving me money and taking my numerous calls. I'm grateful she was looking out for me and I recommend this place to anyone who wants their car repaired professionally.

AAA tow truck was the owner of the shop who met me for a tire change. There was a problem with the tow truck and it took him 45 minuets to be able to attach my car to the tow. He was very rude and unprofessional. All I needed was a tire replacement. The tow truck driver said we can pick up the car the next morning (Wednesday morning was the promised day of pick up). We called them in the morning the next day and were told that they wanted to replace all three tires rather than one, I refused and went to meet them for one tire replacement. When I got there Wednesday morning, I was told that the tire employees left and won't be back til next Monday, six days after the day the truck was towed! Although there were many mechanics at the shop that could help, they refused to change the tire! I had to drive the car on a flat tire for a trusted car shop to get my tires replaced. This business is not reliable and are waiting to take advantage of their customers. I am disappointed AAA would recommend this and question their reliability.

Absolutely worst service if your looking for professionalism and good quality. I called Triple A for a tow, they sent this sorry excuse for a company to tow me. When the guy called me he was rude, told him I signed up for texts from triple A and never received any. I told him I was on the way and would a few minutes behind. The gentleman told me he would wait and proceeded to leave after our conversation. Sitting in the parking lot with no idea how to get my car now besides waiting for another tow. Would not recommend if you need help, I have plenty of places I can give you for some professional work.

MDX went dead while driving front of Shopping Strip, Called the AAA, they came with in 30 min. He checked, Alternator & battery both went out. He called tow guy & we asked him about reasonable place to do the work, he told we have our own workshop, we decided to go with it, they gave reasonable quote. They also have good customer service. Work has 2 years warranty. Thanks again.

Justin Szymanski is THE WORST, MOST FOUL tow tech I ve ever encountered. As a result I m the world record holder for the longest wait for a tow. It will be at least 7 HOURS before my car is towed tonight. This afternoon after Justin s rude behavior sparked a verbal exchange, Justin left without towing. Another tow person would have to replace him. Along comes Mobile Repairs Heather who had a chance to redeem the situation on behalf of Mobile Repairs. Instead, she fanned the flames. Heather told Triple A s dispatch that she d send someone in Justin s place but, as I suspected, she set it up so I wouldn t get help until as late as possible. It s now past 7PM and I just received a text that the new tow won t arrive until 9PM. You win Heather! You win Justin! Congratulations. You got me good. Been waiting since 2PM. That s right 7 HOURS to get a tow, IF they arrive at 9PM at all. Justin s rude demeanor this afternoon was evident from the start. He wouldn t say a word when he pulled up. No eye contact. Body language was tuned out. Clearly not interested in interacting at all with anyone when he arrived. When I asked for his recommendation about leaving it in neutral he said whatever you want - twice. His demeanor and tone were 100% patronizing. His whatever you want was so soaked in attitude that you could drink it. Here was a man who was thoroughly dissociative - he clearly didn t want to be there. Tension escalated between us. We took it up with the police officer who was parked around the corner. I was surprised that Justin used the F word twice! I used it once! I asked who to take this up with and the officer said, Triple A. So I took notes and reported this here and to Triple A. I see from other posts that I m not the only one treated rudely by Mobile Repairs Towing.Service: Car towing

They really care about the service they provide. The dealership messed up my oil and filter change, but Mobile Repairs fixed it with ease. And their courtesy checks are very thorough.

I ve had my 1999 Honda Accord EX V6 sedan and 2006 Subaru Forester 2.5X SUV serviced here for years and have always received fantastic customer and technical service. They employ expert techs, including a Master Honda Tech, with labor rates more than 50% less than dealerships with 15% AAA labor discounts. They offer a two-year warranty on aftermarket parts. You can t go wrong doing business with this fantastic shop!Services: Transmission, Electrical repair, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

AAA was called and they sent this sadly rude and obnoxious company to handle it. a nail was sticking in the sidewall of the tire. we wanted to have it towed. the sad excuse of a driver called without ever seeing the car and told us to drive it anyway it would be alright. we refused. when he got there. the battery had had died and tried to say he couldn't jump a hybrid and pulled off. we whistled him back and had to show him how to jump it although I'm sure he knew all along. Then he got mad and said "are you kidding me. what a waste of my time to tow this 30 miles. never again will we use this pathetic excuse for a tow company. and the truth is if AAA sees fit to retain them me might find another company to use. there are other places that offer what AAA offers

My family has been with AAA for over 10 years, never have I ever experienced such poor service. They were dispatched to tow my car, that broke down a mile down the street, to my mechanic and told me they could not do that. They then said they could service my car, but I would be charged a fee. When I told them I was calling through AAA and didn't understand why I would be charged a fee I was told to fix my attitude or else they were going to hang up. AAA then dispatched them again and they declined without telling me or AAA and had me waiting in the rain for 3 hours. This is my second bad experience with these folks, and as they are the only service providers in my area through AAA, I will contacting AAA to reach out and contract with another company, seeing as this is clearly an ongoing issue if you look through other reviews.

AAA dispatched Rob with Mobile Repairs Towing. Rob arrived within 15 minutes after my mobile phone call ended. Knowing I was in a busy turn lane Staples Mill Rd West onto Hungary road) at 5:00 PM with my two Golden Retrievers onboard, he worked quickly to hook up my Honda Pilot. Rob offered a ride to Elm Drive Automotive in Mechanicsville but I had called my husband to rescue us. Rob was professional and caring. I appreciate great service.

The group of people at the collision center are absolutely amazing!! I brought my car there to get an estimate an left with friendships. They did wonderful work an I don't think anybody else around could produce a better finished product. I would recommend them to everybody for any project small to large because no matter what they are going to do it right!

AAA chose this company for me twice, once in 2016 and once in 2017, and I advise any AAA customer to demand another company. That is noted on my file going forward and I will also be reminding any AAA employee not to send a tow truck from this company. The driver on the first tow tried to overcharge me on mileage because I only have 5 free miles and my mechanic was 6.4 miles away from my house, and I had to threaten to have him unhook the car en route to get away from his price-gouging if he didn't go the speediest route. But the 2nd experience costs me $85 because the driver on that tow flooded my engine trying to get a car to start that wouldn't start (that's why I needed a tow!). The holes that the spark plugs sit in as well as my motor oil were flooded with gasoline at my mechanic's shop, and this put my mechanic and his employees in danger because a stray spark could have set his entire garage on fire. In addition to paying for a new distributor, which was why the car wouldn't start in the first place, I also had to pay $85 for an oil change and for the removal, cleaning, and re-insertion of spark plugs multiple times. I filed a complaint with AAA about this company, and it told AAA that the engine had already been flooded when the tow truck driver arrived, which wasn't true because I had only attempted to crank it two or three times before calling AAA. I urge every AAA customer who's had or has in the future a bad experience with Mobile Repair to tell AAA; if enough people complain about the same place, hopefully AAA will remove them from their metro Richmond database.

The collision center was mediocre on the service, could have been better but Kim Smart the 'apparent' manager of the collision repair body shop was very rude on the phone when she is supposed to be a manager dealing with customer service. I am in the hotel service industry and if i talked like that to a customer they would never come again and i would be fired. Too bad this place is where people go because they have to because this place would be out of business if it wasn't for that just looking at their customer service. My mother was on the phone with me and my mother may have been trying to get too much information at once but the way Kim Smart handled it on the phone was completely wrong. The rudest remark was saying she couldn't deal with my mom as she was handing the phone to someone else. As a manager myself, i would never hand the phone to an employee to tell them to deal with a situation like that. That is a managers job. I don't know why she got on the phone in the first place because i was talking to the person that was looking at my car and i told him i wanted to include my mother in on the conversation and she was there when i got back to the call saying she has done this for so and so years and that my car was totaled and giving options of what to do instead of telling us what was actually wrong with the car. I called back to tell her i was upset at the way she spoke to my mother and i wanted an apology because no one is supposed to disrespect your mother and she tells me she acted that way because of a death in the family in an angry tone and continued not letting me speak just like she did to my mother. I was very calm about the situation but i do not let people walk all over me especially when i just got into an accident the night before. I am sorry for her loss but in a workplace a manager especially should not be bringing up family issues because personal business should be left at home when at work. And maybe she should not be at work if she cannot handle it. Kim Smart should not be a manager.
