Drove half an hour for Virginia Safety Inspection in the afternoon. I was told that there was over 5 hours of wait if I was to stay there with the car as people have been waiting since 7 am. There was not a single customer ahead of me waiting there. I am a person of color. Not sure why they lied to me as there wasn't anyone waiting.I went to another inspection shop nearby and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Will never go there again

Extremely dishonest mechanics. Had my car inspection last week and they failed it due to ball joint being bad. I left and went to Gary Chapman's Garage where the mechanic has over 50 years experience. He stated the ball joint was fine. Another mechanic also reviewed the ball joint. This is not the first time this has happened at Epperlys Garage. Do not trust them.

Richard and David have been taking care of our family vehicles for years. They are honest, work hard to find and fix problems without breaking the bank, squeeze us in for last minute state inspections and breakdowns, check out used cars for us prior to purchase, and do it all at reasonable prices. We trust Epperleys and wouldn't take our vehicles anywhere else.

When I take my cars to Epperlys Garage, I know my vehicles are always in good hands. They take the time to listen to you, don t haggle you, are priced fairly and genuinely care about the work they are doing on your vehicles. I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, hate to have to give this place a bad review because I recently got an inspection, oil change, and tire rotation, and thought everything went well. Everyone was polite and the work was done the same day. However, a couple of weeks later I started hearing a grinding noise when I braked, so I took it in to my local mechanic, who advised me that I needed brakes and rotors. He said all four brakes were worn all the way down, and he showed them to me so I know he wasn't making it up. I told him I had just gotten it inspected and he said there is no way that it should have passed inspection. I don't know if the mechanic didn't inspect the brakes or if he saw it and just ignored it. This place has a lot of great reviews so maybe it was just a rare oversight, but it is a very dangerous oversight.

First time there to get my car inspected. They could not have been any nicer and courteous. Talked to several gentlemen there waiting to get that car looked at it and they said they have been coming there for years and would not go anywhere else, sounds like a solid recommendation.

The very best for all car maintenance you need. The staff is friendly, eager to help and definitely know what they are doing. They will diagnose your car and call you before they fix it.Would recommend them for all your car repairs, tire rotation, oil change or that annoying clinking or clanking that you have been ignoring for a while and just cannot take it anymore!
