I Highly recommend Truck &Auto Specialties ,their Service is Unfailingly Reliable. They have Serviced my Railroad Vehicles as well as my Personal vehicles for years.Their Counsel is Sound and their attention is fabulously thorough. They give Personalized Service and don't recommend anything that isn't necessary.I come to Truck and Auto Specialties for the Honest ,Dependable and Timely Service they Provide.Life is Good when have People you Can Trust to do Good Work and Treat you Fairly. Eric and Crystal are extremely knowledgeable in all types of Vehicles from the 4 big diesel trucks I drove for Norfolk Southern to my personal daily drivers.No job is to Big or to Small for Truck and Auto Specialties If you want it done Right take your Vehicles there to get Top Shelf Service. .

This review is long overdue. I wanted to make sure I did it right. The morning after my cousin s wedding on 9/17, me and my sister were heading to OBX until my car s check engine light came on and I could barely accelerate. None of the auto shops in the area (Firestone and other big companies) would help me and since it was the weekend, dealership service centers were closed too. In a scramble, I searched for anyone that could help me.Insert Truck & Auto Specialty. Crystal picked up the phone and said that she would meet me back at the shop shortly. Eric ran some diagnostics and determined that the transmission was the culprit. He tried to update the onboard computer but cautioned that it may not fix the issue. Unfortunately it did not, which meant the transmission needed to be replaced. With barely 65,000 miles on my 2014 Ford Focus, I was shocked and frustrated. Crystal worked hard to find quotes that didn t break the bank for me. The problem was that it would take awhile to get everything fixed, and I still had a vacation to get to. Crystal and Eric even floated the idea of me borrowing one of their cars. I declined, but this truly shows the love and care of a family owned business. They share my love for OBX and didn t want me missing out on a relaxing week. I ended up finding my way down there but Crystal still insisted on driving me and my sister to a hotel for the night.During my week away, Crystal kept me in the loop with everything. This included helping me battle with my warranty company so that I only had to pay hundreds of dollars instead of thousands. After many delays (all from my warranty company), my car was ready for pickup on 10/8. I took a train down to Roanoke where Crystal picked me up in my car. I drove it home back to MD and it s been smooth sailing (driving) ever since.I can t say enough good things about Truck & Auto Specialty. Crystal and Eric turned an extremely stressful situation into a pleasant one. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. They are not here to rip you off. My only regret is that I don t live closer so that I can keep coming back to them for routine maintenance on my vehicle.Thanks again Crystal and Eric! I won t forget what you did for me.

My AC compressor went out on my way to DC from Nashville, and they perfectly fixed the issue! They changed my oil and fixed my gas cap too. Not only that, but it was all done very timely and efficiently. I was impressed!This business is friendly, kind and fair. I d highly suggest anyone go to them as I would refer them to anyone. Thank you for helping us get back on the road! We appreciate it so much!

I recently had a wonderful experience with Truck and Auto Specialty. They proved to be extremely reliable and trustworthy when it came to repairing my vehicle. The level of professionalism and expertise they displayed was truly exceptional. I felt very well taken care of throughout the entire process. Moreover, I appreciated their commitment to supporting veterans, as they were incredibly veteran-friendly. Took my car to a large chain and paid for them to inspect my motor mounts, they told me the vibrations were from my brakes and the mounts were fine, took it to another shop who told me my brakes were fine (which I believed as I changed them last year) and the mounts needed to be replaced. long story short I got recommended this shop, in the process they inspected and repaired the mounts as well as another issue. the pricing was very reasonable and they showed me the damaged part afterwards. They called me before doing any work and consulted what actions I should take and wait on.

While traveling on 81, I had issues with my duramax 2500 diesel and in googling I found Truck and Auto Specialist 12 am in the morning , they took my truck got it diagnosed and got me back on the road They were so nice I would recommend this to anyone.

Been in the business for over 10 years, and never have I met people so honest that truly go above and beyond for their services, second to none, truly the best. If your tractor has a breakdown around this area, don't hesitate, they will fix it, thanks for everything Eric and Crystal
