They don t deserve any stars. They messed my car up twice. They don t know what they are doing. I took my car to get a front end alignment and put my lower arm controls on, they failed to tell me that I needed tire rod's for the driver side and passenger side. They failed at everything charged me too much and I was not happy at the way they did business.i had to take my car to another mechanic just so they could do my front and alignment, right.

I have my vehicle oil changed here but I would be inclined to have any repairs done here than pretty much any of the mechanics in Roanoke. They are fair, honest and get the work done quickly.

Do not bother taking your vehicle to any Speedy Midas location. I am being told that their technicians are not even trained as car mechanics.I took my vehicle there two weeks ago to get a last minute oil change before a trip. After completing the oil change, I was told by a technician that the oil drain plug was stripped, and that I had lost a good amount of oil. I had a lot of errands to get done before my trip and didn t press the issue more.As I sit thinking about it more, my vehicle sits on a concrete pad at home, and I have to my knowledge, never seen any oil trips. My regular mechanic agreed that he s never seen it scrip oil ever or even seen it wet.And when I called and spoke with a supervisor today, I was told that the wear and tear on the plug causes it to strip and over time begins losing oil. I told him, with that logic, that would be gradual and not from no drips to lost a good amount of oil. Service: Oil change

This SpeeDee oil change shop is tops ! The staff is outstanding. They don't charge a diagnostic charge. ( And why should they? ) They knew the problem and fixed it under budget / quoted repair price. They went the extra mile to gain my confidence and future business. This is worth mentioning the same quality service was provided a month earlier for a family member. I was traveling down 81 for a long trip when my oil light went on. I needed synthetic oil and found them to be the closest and called them. Got off the interstate and they had just a 1/2 quart oil which I needed (last in their shop). Told me where to go to purchase more in case I needed some. Super friendly, helpful and great service! Thank you!

I went to this place twice trying to get my car inspected. They had a wait both times and told me to come at 8 in the morning and they would DEFINITELY get me in. I come at EXACTLY 8 the morning only for them to tell me there s a 3 hour wait and I SHOULD have dropped my car off last night. I have a job and I don t have time to sit there for 3 hours while they inspect 2 cars that were dropped off. Nobody told me in the 2 times I went there That I was even allowed to drop it off. Never coming here again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My husband brought the car in to get the door looked at because it would not open from the outside, but did from the inside. They looked at it and said take it to a dealer to fix it. He also got the tires rotated. Upon returning home we find the door now no longer opens from the inside or the outside causing a way bigger issue now. My husband called and asked the manager what happened he was met with rudeness and he said he can t help us and have a nice day. I was livid to bring my car to them only to get it back in worse condition. I called and demanded an explanation, the manager again was rude, to which I was rude and heated in exchange. He accused me of wanting something for free and that I was trying to scam him. I BROUGHT MY VEHICLE IN TO BE FIXED NOT GIVEN BACK TO ME IN WORSE SHAPE THEN IT WAS TO BEGIN WITH. I urge anyone and everyone do not bring your vehicle here. We have been long time customers of SpeeDee, but no more will they get a dollar from me or my husband.Service: Wheel alignment

In May, I had my oil changed here and they didn't vacuum my floorboards. I left a review, the owner called and made all kinds of promises. Yesterday I returned (having found my receipt where they checked off that they vacuumed in May!) and once again the vacuuming wasn't done until I insisted. They checked off that they checked my lights--my headlight was out and they didn't say a word. There was no record of the promises made by the owner in May but they did give me an extra $10 off.Service: Oil change

Very rude! Had to deliver four tires to this establishment and this rude black man acted like it was beneath him to get the tires out of my car! These was heavy tires so he really expected me to carry these four tires into Speedee. Ummm no! He should of been thankful that I even delivered them. This is the 3rd time I have dealt with nasty rude men at this place and you will never have to worry about me getting my oil change there. Seeing their behavior today makes me believe that they would be the type to accidentally cut your brake lines. DO NOT TRUST THEM! Especially the rude heavy set black guy with a beard!

They are absolutely awesome and they are very upfront about the issues your car is having and they do a free diagnostic test. I would highly recommend!

Oil change done correctly. Air filters checked and one definitely needed replacement. Not in stock but came by delivery before the service was completed. Quick, thorough and friendly. I always want to see the oil to see how it held up. No fuss showed me with a nod.

Got an inspection here back in September. Everything was fine on the drive home. Took it out a couple hours later and my stabilitrak and anti skid was off. Not sure if the mechanics did something, or just a coincidence. I don't believe in coincidence so won't go back.Service: Vehicle InspectionService: Vehicle Inspection

I stopped in today because my passenger light bulb needed to be replaced. I was driving with only one light which is not to safe. Brandon was fantastic! My wire was out of the light connection. He fixed it even though it was very difficult because they don t give you space in my car to get to it. AND at No charge!!! BRANDON is my hero today! This place is freaking awesome. Staff is polite, honest, and helpful. I literally won t go anywhere else in Roanoke for oil changes or overall car maintenance. I am always greeted IMMEDIATELY and they are usually very quick to get my car done. More specifically, I came In there one Saturday morning for an oil change and asked them to check to see if there was anything else that needed to be done for overall maintenance. NOT ONLY did they explain everything in terms that I understand, they lead me inside the shop to LITERALLY SHOW ME WHAT THEY WERE DOING. The service is unmatched. I cannot say enough good things. I WISH I knew the specific names of the guys but honestly they are all amazing and welcoming.

Prideful mechanics doing fast work and making mistakes. I was charged 800$ for needless repairs when all I came in for was a diagnosis. When I came back and pointed out the problem the assistant manager told me he'd put back on all my broken parts for me. Not very professional. In June of this year, I took my Honda Civic in for repairs and an inspection. Actually, I had it towed in. They diagnosed the problem - a faulty fuel pump. It was an expensive job, but the vehicle hadn t been driven much. Exactly 2 months later, the Civic didn t start again. Replaced the battery (which the car needed). Still wouldn t start. Removed the fuel filter. It was totally filthy. I called Speedee, told them I wasn t happy. They sent a tow truck, put in another new fuel pump (they really had replaced the first one), but the car still wouldn t start. They worked on it for about 2 weeks. Turns out, I had gotten some bad gas. They kept me informed during all this work, and only charged me for the new gas.I have been a long-standing customer. Will I go back? Came in for a wheel alignment and inspection. Waited over an hour for the inspection while the employees played around, talked, and took selfies with each other. Then they almost let someone that just walked in jump line to get in front of us.Finally, they started to take our payment, and it turns out they had not done our alignment. They accused me of never telling them, despite writing it down and telling two employees. Then they angrily walk out without saying a word.Service: Wheel alignment

I hate to be those last-minute customers but I showed up an hour before they closed on Saturday for an inspection. They shared they stop doing inspections an hour before they close in case anything came up - but they were able to squeeze me in! I only had to wait 30-40 minutes before I was good to go. The guys were so nice- made you forget they were working on the weekend! Definitely getting services from here on out.

Have been using this location for many months now for my car's ridiculous amount of problems that keep coming up. Always friendly and fast service, and communicate the problem and what they did to fix it in a very timely manner and I appreciate it. Wouldn't go anywhere else! Never had a problem with them.

Staff is polite, service is fast, but the 17-point oil change is a lie. My car was not vacuumed, windows were not cleaned, tires were not checked, etc. I will not return to this Speedee, and probably none of the others because I already know the advertisement is false. Let the buyer beware. They may change their ways if enough dissatisfied customers speak out, but maybe it's just certain people they cheat. Shalom.

All staff members have always been very kind and will get you in and out as fast as possible. Wait times vary, of course, based on how busy they are, but regardless, they aren't going to make you sit around and they don't waste any time. The waiting room is comfortable for being an auto shop. I feel like I was in and out of the parking lot for an oil change in about ten minutes today - awesome service.

I brought my car in to get my car inspected around 2:00 p.m. and didn't leave until 4:30 p.m. The car getting inspected before me was getting rejected so instead of accepting the rejection sticker he decides to go ahead and fix his car. I don't know much about cars but I don't understand why they could not have taken his car off the rack while waiting for this part, and inspect my car so I didn't have to wait. So they tell me they have to wait for the part to be delivered, which took an 1.5 hours, then when the part was dropped off another hour rolls by. So something that should have taken tops 30 minutes turned into 2 and a 1/2 hours. I understand this could have happened anywhere but damn. So the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the guys were really nice to me and I've had a positive experience in the past with getting my oil changed there.

I accidentally went the wrong place for an oil change, but I'm really happy that I did. They got me in right away, topped up my fluids, vacuumed my floors, topped up tires with air, and referred me online to a $5 off coupon. It took 15 minutes, and they were really nice. They went above and beyond. Also, they didn't look homeless to me; they looked like all the other mechanics I've dealt with.

Got an oil change from this place Thurs June 20 right after lunch. They were pretty fast, helped get me situated and finished my oil change in less than half an hour. Gentleman greeting and checking me out was friendly and even reminded me of a coupon on their website. Reasonable pricing as well, would go to them again.

Showed up at 8:15 am for an oil change, tire rotation, and a Va state inspection. The bays were already full and said it would take about 2 hours. I was in and out in 1 hour 15 minutes. Josh, Tez, Zach and Will were a delight to talk with and all were professional and enthusiastic. I have now found my vehicle maintenance facility. Thanks Gents
