Justin J was GREAT to work with. We bought a 2023 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy last week and it was by far the absolute best car purchasing experience my husband and I have ever had. With all the tech features it felt like we were buying a car and new computer but Justin took the time to give us a thorough walkthrough of EVERY feature. He also took the time to help us customize settings and set up driver profiles on the vehicle, in the Hyundai app, and he scheduled all upcoming maintenance (1 year out). If you are going to Southern Street Hyundai you need to request Justin J!!

I highly recommend Southern Team for anyone looking to buy a new car. It was such an easy process. Justin Jacobson was the sales person who assisted me. He was great. He really listened to what I wanted and worked to get the payments to fit my budget. The process with the Finance Manager was fast and painless as well. No pressure to add things. After all the papers were signed, Justin sat with me in my new car for over an hour going thru all the settings and explaining how every feature worked. He went above and beyond! It was a great experience all around!

If I could rate this place less than one star, I would.My glow plug light began flashing on my VW Touareg while I was about 90 miles out from this dealership and thankfully I made it. Because I was nearly 600 miles from home, they offered to clear the lights for me but could not guarantee that I would make it home, or they offered to look at the issue for me but it, and I quote, " could take a very very long time." Due to an impending snowstorm and the fact my vehicle would not accelerate uphill I had to leave my vehicle. Thankfully I knew to ask for a rental since it would be covered under VW's policy for diesel vehicles- this was not offered to me without asking which is extremely disappointing. Additionally, I was put into a rental that was a sedan vs a similar vehicle class as my vehicle.I dropped my vehicle off on a Friday and I was notified the following Wednesday that it was ready for pickup after the service manager insisted it would be a very very long time to fix the issue. Because of the more than 600 mile journey I had to wait an additional 2 weeks before I could make it down. When I finally got there, there was no detailed explanation of what had happened to my vehicle other than the service paper that the dealership provides. Furthermore when they brought my vehicle to the front of the dealership, it was covered in snow, had not been cleaned or wiped down and had music on the radio that I was not listening to when I dropped my vehicle off.I was extremely disappointed with the entire experience and would expect a lot more from a Volkswagen dealership. Extremely poor customer service and communication skills. I would not recommend.Pictures below of the snow and ice on my vehicle at time of pick up.FYI- no one has contacted me from the dealership. Poor follow through.

I went to have my care service, and I arrived at 1: 45 PM. for my 2 PM appointment. I was told the service will take about 1 hour 30 min. After 2 hours of waiting, I asked if they had finished the service , and they answered that they hadn't even started.I wasted two hours of my time waiting in their waiting area. No one informed me that they are behind schedule.This is not the way a business should treat their customers.

Wish I could give them a ZERO watch your back and you wallet with Danielle (car services) It s pitiful how we try to scam and cheat our own ( women who are makin it happen).., I was driving from NJ to NC with my son (Asperger spectrum) for my dad s 75th Birthday Party with my supposed to have a new motor from Tom s River Lester Glenn Hyundai mysteriously die days before warranty was due to expire. She conspires with dealership to say it s maintenance issue you tell me has a dirty air filter EVERY made a check engine light go on and undrivable???. In ANY CAR? I sent president David Dillion an email, let you if I receive a response .

Horrible. Worst experience ever. I walked in to possibly purchase a new SUV. I was met with Nate at the door; he was nothing but insinuating to me. I understand I'm an older sr. woman, but I do know how to purchase a car and what a good deal is on one. He knocked down the car I was to trade in. Then the rest........I walked out in less than 10 min. I was not to waste my time here even driving over an hr to get here. I went to another dealership, Duncan, and was offered nearly double the price of the car I was to trade in on a cheaper new SUV than this place. I was also treated much better and got more respect at Duncan, then here. Do yourself a huge favor.......before you go here, shop around prior to purchasing from this place! I'm happy I did!ADDING!March 22, I sent a reply via my personal email with all the info they requested and I have never heard back. I guess they're certainly not interested in my comments. After over 6 months, I never heard a single word back from this place. GUARANTEED! I'd NEVER go to them for Service or ANYTHING! STAY CLEAR of HERE! And MOVE on to another dealership!

One of the most pleasurable buying experiences we have had. Mr. Wayne Lewis, (our salesman),was fantastic. We were back and forth because of vehicle availability, when a vehicle arrived, he called us to come see it. When we were ready, to get our new car, there was a much nicer Tucson Limited hybrid that had been just delivered. Needless to say we took it home. Mr. Lewis is such a gentleman, spent a lot of time going over the features and setting my wife s preferences up. Thank you sir for a great experience. Special thanks also to Mr. Andrew Kelly from finance for making our purchase easy and trouble free. Y all are top notch! Thank you as well to Mr.Peter Walker for tracking down the keys, you are a true gentleman. Highly recommend these gentlemen for your next new car. There goal is to make you happy.

Took my 2012 Sonata Limited 2.4L in for diagnosis of several issues: loss of engine power, heavy oil consumption (1-qt every 400 miles), several electrical issues, etc. Basically I was told it would cost me over $4k to perform necessary "fixes", but these fixes would only be 60% effective in resolving the issues. The best fix I was informed would be to replace the engine, but they did not quote me how much that would cost. I was also told that Hyundai would most likely not replace my engine for free, even though this model year car and engine are garbage and known to consume large amounts of oil, and be very problematic; i.e. bearing failure, etc. So, with that said I promptly declined all the services, picked up my keys and left. I now have an undriveable money-pit of a vehicle sitting in my driveway that I still owe the bank for.... Lesson learned! I will never purchase another Hyundai vehicle, nor use Southern Team ever again.

We bought a new car from Southern Team Hyundai in March of this year. The purchasing of the car was a smooth process and we were told that if there were any issues with the car to let them know. Well, about a week after we purchased the car we noticed a loud squeak coming from the rear driver's side window ( we believe this was caused by the window sticker that was on the car letting you know price/car details etc). We thought that we would just let the dealership know on our first scheduled maintenance. This was a mistake. When we dropped the car off, we found a quote for $84 jammed into the seat to fix this issue. The car clearly had a an issue from the beginning, but we thought that it could be addressed with the "hassle free maintenance" that Southern Team offers. Be careful when purchasing a car from this location as as soon as you drive off the lot, many issues with the car become your own.

Horatio D. And Justin W. were extremely helpful. Horatio was knowledgeable about each and every car we looked at today. He was super friendly and made us feel welcome as soon as we got out of the car. I finally made the best decision in purchasing the Santa Cruz. Justin W. was very good at explaining everything at the end of sale with insurance etc. Neither one was pushy and that s why we always come back here when purchasing vehicles. Couldn t be happier!

Went for an oil change, they were efficient, oil was changed quickly. Service folks were very nice and they even washed my car which was an added bonus.
