I knew going in that this was a economy job as my car is 13 years old and has 260000 miles and I had bad damage on my rear quarter panel and needed my car painted. The job was done for ~$2500. The price was VERY reasonable. The quarter panel was repaired as good as possible and looks fine but I am a bit disappointed in the paint job. They took the time to straighten out the quarter panel but there is a paint blurb 3-4 long and 1/2 wide, right where the repair was done. Like it was not sanded down all the way. Also I see they painted over some bumper spots where paint had peeled and it does not have a good look. Finally I found a bunch of tape that was not removed from the paint job and a see that some bumper clips are missing (not sure if those were missing before the repair). I also have to clean off some clear coat (or some residue) off of the back side window. The guys were nice and the work done in a reasonable amount of time.Overall my ride looks good at first blush and I can live with it but I can t give the work higher than 3.5 stars; although frankly, that was probably my expectation going in. On total, the work seems to be worth the low cost I paid, but the finishing details could have been better.

I had to have my bumper and liftgate replaced and the whole experience was excellent! I got a quote the same day I found out I needed the work done, and they were able to order the parts and schedule my repair as soon as I called, then once the parts came in they got my Jeep in and out of there in just one week! Everything looks great, they even matched the color perfectly!

Done 3 months ago, Great customer service and very friendly people. However, the paint had visible strips and marks on it, a lot of dust specs in paint. Taping was not done properly and there was overspray everywhere. The paint flakes color was very different from the Audi flakes, and overall poor paint job.

Had my car painted a few days ago at Maaco on Williamson Road. The original clearcoat was chipping really bad on the whole car except for the doors. Maaco done an excellent job! Color was really even. My car looks brand new again. Definitely recommend. Nick was super great in setting everything up too!

Beautiful paint job except for one scar about an inch and a quarter long above the front passenger door handle where it looks like a tool or something accidentally hit the paint before it dried.

I will never recommend or have my vehicle in another maaco. They left paint dust all inside my vehicle. I told the guy about it he said oh they do have dirty feet. But it was hand prints of paint on my door handles paint dust all inside my truck. I had to get the inside detailed when I left. Also they put a galge on the driver side front fender. They know they did it because they put touch up paint in it to hide it. But the scratch was to deep for touch up paint to hide it. I would give zero stars if I could

Brought my 1986 Porsche 944 here to revert it back to its original Garnet Red Metallic color. Got an awesome deal on their urethane paint with integrated clear coat! The paint job is awesome, great color and finish! I was also impressed by the minimal amount of overspray on trim, there was only a little on the sides of the pop up headlamps and the drivers side door handle. The staff that I interacted with were very nice and professional as well, though I wish they had done more to keep me updated on the progress of the work being done on my car. Also, some of the bodywork I requested was not done properly. I asked them to remove the screws that were present in the doors to hold old trim on and then fill the holes. However, they just painted over the screws. Luckily, corporate is going to have it fixed at a shop in NOVA where I live so I don't need to drive back to Roanoke! One other thing I wasn't too impressed with was the repair of a dent in the passenger door, it is still a little noticeable, and there are some weird marks on my T-top panel. Overall, I am quite happy considering the price and the initial condition of the car when I brought it in. I wasn't expecting 100% perfection with this job, but the quality of the paint itself blew me away! Overall, my experience here was pretty much trouble free, and I recommend them if you're trying to up the appearance of your car without breaking the bank!

Brought my truck in to get some work done on the hood from the clear coat coming off and my passenger side door from getting keyed by a crazy ex girlfriend.Went to all kinds of places that were estimating thousands of dollars but was given the lowest price here. Honestly I was skeptical at first but I can tell you now they did a killer job and you really can t beat the price. Definitely worth the money.

Dropped off vehicle for bumper paint, paint booth went down so they kept my car a few extra days (uncontrollable, no problem). Once I arrived to pick up my vehicle, it had a dead battery, semi flat tire (maybe another uncontrollable), clear coat drips on the hood, and a fresh new scratch down the driver side fender. The staff were nice though, just not convinced they have good quality control measures in place.Service: Painting

I have used them before, and I m used to the normal imperfections that come w/ auto repair that s not from the dealership, but this time. They did a really bad job it looks like they just took the scratches out, and painted it it still has dents, and rubber in the lower part of the car. AND, I had a brand new battery powered socket wrench (craftsman) I was given for Christmas in my trunk, and it was stolen . Horrible experience I won t go backServices: Painting, Body & Trim

Had a small dent in my rear quarter panel. Was quoted 1750 at another body shop. Maaco fixed it for 600. Can t tell anything ever happened there! Couldn t be happier. Thank you maaco!

I have been to this location two times within the last few months, they were able to get me in at a reasonable time and the prices were good. Had my two front mirror covers repainted and my bumper fixed. I m am pleased with both services. If I ever need more work, I will definitely come back to this location!

Someone hit my car and I had to use Maaco to repair a scratched fender. Car was there over 2 weeks, I was advised it was ready but when I went to pick it up my back passenger door handle was missing. Then told the tech who fixes it had to leave work early and wouldn t return until Monday. Car interior was left filthy including passenger seat/mat.

Car been painted twice and it seems that they just repainted over the rusty hood and old paint, that didn't last a full 4 months. Not only this, the warranty doesn't assist for a rental car while your car is being corrected the popular way. Also, the rack is broken on my car by your company. I would rather have my refund. Rust return on hood with paint peeling less than four months and needstransportation while my car is being corrected because my grandkids and I have health problems that requires a car in the home always.If we can not come to an agreement I would with great appreciation my refund back for the work done here at the shop on Williamson Road, City of Roanoke, Virginia. The last job done on file.Have A Bless Day.P.S. Do not forget about my Rack on top of the car broken on both sides and parts missing on the top left of the rack.Service: Painting

Awhile back, my car was involved in a accident, which destroyed the hood and front bumper. We replaced the parts, and had it painted. I own 2001 Lexus is300, and the paint being 20+ years old, Macco did a good job feathering the newer paint to the old. I m happy with the results for what we paid for, but if you care about spot on details, and perfectly reflecting paint; this shop is not for you. However, if you want a quick, decent paint job, with affordable prices, this is the place to go.Service: Painting

First of all, these people are nice. Robert was very helpful and arranged for my car to be towed after the steering column locked up in the parking lot. The towing fee was very reasonable. I took it back a week later and the car was completed, as promised in about 7 days. The bad news is there is lots of over spray. My black trim that runs the length of the car has red over spray on the outside, which they appeared to try to get off. The inside part of that trim is covered in red paint because they did not attempt to tape it off. There is dirt in the paint with the majority of the entire car showing dirt specs. Robert explained to me this is normal and the reason he gave is that they are painting cars quickly and at maximum volume. There is a small peak of paint on the hood that looks like the painter just dripped the paint. Even though the contract and in office advertisements guarantee the work, Robert verbally explained to me they do not guarantee paint jobs on older cars. Mine is 2000 Acura Integra. While this does not make sense to me, I agreed to those terms. My car looks a lot better than it did before I took it in. For $1000.00 perfection is not expected.Service: Painting

Be very careful leaving your car with this business. They have no way of securing your vehicle while it's in their custody. We dropped off my daughter's car there to have a minor rust spot repaired, and the catalytic converter was stolen. Evidently, they have no adequate security measures in place to prevent this. They claimed to have security cameras, but it was too dark to see anything. Either they have no lighting of the area or the worst low light cameras in the world considering how affordably you can now equip your home and business with them. They offered us nothing to compensate us for their negligence.When we called our insurance agent to file a claim, we were told that they could add coverage to cover this for around $100/year.When we called Maaco corporate, they referred us to the local owner. Management of the Roanoke store refuses to put us in contact with the local owner. That's the definition of a runaround. You can tell from the manager's response that this is a regular occurrence. Their lack of concern and refusal to do anything to prevent this makes one wonder if they have something to do with the thefts.I'm sure they do adequate repairs for the money, but since they seem to have no desire to secure you vehicle while it's in their custody, you should not take your vehicle to the Williamson Road location.Service: Painting

I took my car in to get the back door fixed. I called to check on it after 5 days and was told that some of the work had to be redone. The next day I was called to pick it up. They have gone ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure speedy repair in order for me to get my only vehicle back! They have kept me well informed from day one and answered my many questions they have been awesome to work with. Hopefully we don t have another accident (everyone was fine) but if we ever need any other work of any sort done we will always come here first and most definitely send anyone here that needs any car help!
