Got there bright and early when they opened, only to see them put up a sign saying no state inspections. Really??? Go down the road to Brandon Automotive and don't waste your time at TLC.

Stopped in mid morning hoping to beat the weekend rush. Ushered in and Devin had me in and out in about 20 minutes. Friendly and great service. Recommend unless you want a hotdog afterwards, no left turn out of their lot!!!!

Got a screw in my tire on New Year s Eve / Saturday morning. First place I called might be able to get to it in the next 3 days if I dropped it off. Second place was closed. Called TLC, and Devin said to bring it in. He was great; he cheerfully plugged me up and had me out within minutes. Highly recommend.Service: TiresService: Tires

The assistant manager is very helpful! They close at 3pm on Saturdays and he stayed open an hour after to fix a flat tire for a friend!!!!

The lot attendant with reddish hair missing teeth LIED!! took my vehicle in for state inspection, oil change and tire rotation, first of all employees did not show up until quarter after 8 in the morning business opens at 8, my tpm tire indicator was on before coming to business guy with no teeth comes in to ring me up says all done....I said you guys did tire rotation because I didn't see it on the lift, stuttered and replied um no sir we didn't.Took car back through line to do tire rotation 15 more minutes, cars ready get in to start tpm light still on, went back in to ask missing teeth guy was the tire pressure checked? um yes sir I believe your tpm stem is broke but yes we put air in your tires. Get home checked all 4 tires all low pressure, put air in and low and behold started car and tpm light OFF!! AVOID this place like the plague... Manager and missing teeth guy arguing and cussing , bad customer service with almost no service done until I caught it and being lied to...please take your car else where never will do business there AGAIN!Services: Tires, Oil change

I took my car in for an inspection, there is literally NOTHING wrong with my car, but these guys managed to rip my brand new wiper blade in half so I d be forced to buy one, said my rear strut was bad even though I just put brand new struts on the car, and also said a boot was bad-which was also not true, quoted me $600 to fix things that cost less than $100 if they were bad-Which they were NOT. So they failed it..I took it somewhere else and it all passed no problem with flying colors! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!! They will rip you off and force u to buy things you don t need and go as far as damaging your car just to make tons of money off you! THIEVES!!!

These guys are on the ball! Fast courteous and knowledgeable! That's comforting when you don't know anything about cars. These guys had me in there and out of there in no time. I wish it had been a little bit cheaper but hey for good service you got to pay! *EDIT*08/26 update! For an oil change I was quoted the wrong price and only had enough cash predict quoted price. Not only did they give me the full synthetic oil they installed the air filter that I had just recently purchased and had not put in just yet they went around my car and checked everything out. Lights, blinkers, and brake lights. Since I only had the amount of money for the quoted price the manager and one of his colleagues fix my bill to accommodate the amount of money I brought with me! Now it's that isn't customer service I don't know what is! I would recommend this outfit to anybody including my own mom! They're very professional and quick. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes or less and that includes the bill problem! If you need an inspection sticker or an oil change I would highly recommend this place!

Fast, precise, friendly, and convenient service. TLC is a great place for a well priced oil change and tire rotation and, unlike Jiffy Lube, they won't spend half their time trying to convince you to do other, more expensive things that you don't need. Plus, they gave my interior a quick vacuum and wipe down.

I wouldn t go there for an inspection and after watching them try to do a brake job on a car in front of me I wouldn t bring vehicle for that either. They have an inspection bay and if the inspector finds something he keeps the car in that bay while he fixes it which could take hours. Sitting in waiting room they came in and to tell a customer they had to order a oil drain plug because whoever the last person to change your oil striped the bolt . Customer said you all changed my oil every time! It s a joke. Don t make a mistake like I did and waste half a day when they told me one person was in front of me for a simple inspection.

Superior ServiceI just left the Brandon RD TLC and was having trouble getting my car started in the morning - shake and rattle. I thought it was my anti-freeze or that the radiator needed flushing but they checked everything and said in the frigid conditions we are experiencing everyone is having to let their cars warm up longer than normal. They said they did not see anything wrong. They could have taken advantage of me but did not and I would highly recommend their services and the technicians. This is not the first time they have been honest with me and this is why they will always have my business. We need more businesses like this one where you can trust the ethical people who work there

I used to go to the Brandon store, due to convenience. I found them consistently trying to oversell their filters, in particular the cabin air filter on my cars. It apparently isn't enough to get a simple oil and filter change, they tend to have some other costly add on that is not needed. In the case of the cabin air filter, I told them I did not want it. On reinstalling the cabin air filter, they managed to let a dried leaf fall into the fan area, which resulted in an odd noise every time you turned on the a/c or heat. I had to go to my mechanic to remove the leave.Some time later I ended up going to Advance Auto and having them walk me through the air and cabin air filter replacement steps. They were very helpful. I was able to do this at about half the cost of The Lube Center.In another case, The Lube Center failed to reset my car's maintenance settings, so shortly after the oil change, I got a warning light saying it was time for another oil change. I had to go back there and have the settings corrected.In another case, I had an issue with them not checking the tire pressure.In the future, I'm going to my local mechanic for oil service, who I trust not to oversell me, or the dealership where I purchased my car; they have good prices on oil changes. Not as convenient, but I am worn out dealing with these folks.

06-09-2020The 2 gentlemen that worked this morning were the MOST polite men I have ever had work done by. I watched them with several customers and was impressed of how caring and professional they both were. Even helped one older woman walk to her car. (it wasn't me)Will go back there for service !!

Well, I gave them a chance and I got screwed. Went to the location on Brandon as it was convenient for me to run some errands up the road while my car was being worked on. All I wanted was a state inspection and an oil change. There was nobody inside, no prices for the oil changes, just a quarter sheet of paper asking for basic information and the work you wanted done in checkbox form. In my mind I'm adding up $16.00 inspection plus $35-40 oil change and expecting to get out under $60.00. They bring me a sheet with all the recommendations for what work should be done on a car with my mileage. When I decline to have any of those procedures done, they disappear for another 10 minutes and come back with my air filter, showing a few leaves and pine needles and asking what I want to do. I tell them I can just vacuum or flip it and tap it to get most of the bigger pieces out. They try to discourage me saying it could mess up the filaments on the filter and that this is what I'm breathing. After dodging the attempts to sell me stuff I don't want and didn't ask for, I finally get the bill - $89.70. Imagine my surprise. An expensive lesson to learn, don't waste your time with these guys.

First, a little back story. I have been getting inspections here for 3 cars for nearly 10 years. Have always like the staff, once the supervisor/lead gentleman even gave me a ride to work after dropping my vehicle off (above and beyond, honestly).Went this morning, 7/17/20, at the Brandon Location for an inspection. I was less than 30 mins early, like every other working class person who has a job that also starts in the A.M. (they have NO weekend hours!). All I wanted to do was hand someone my keys and be off to my job. I have been told in years prior to come early because, as you probably know, lines are already starting by this point for inspections. I can see a staff member as he ignores me to count the till/turn on the tvs/brew coffee, which I understand to an extent. Rather than bang on the door to get his attention, I call, because at the rear entrance where all the parking is there is NO KEY BOX (it's the only entrance I have ever used there and I need to go to work!). I am literally doing what i have done for years at this place! The guy working rushes the door slapping his wrist seething and ready to tell me off. GENUINELY ACTED LIKE HE WAS GOING TO TRY AND JUMP ME because i had the audacity, out of necessity, to be early! Even if I was the rudest customer in the world (we haven't even spoken a word because they ignored the phone call), you are on the clock, come speak to me like a human being and handle the issue. He rudely tells me there is a key box around front, something a sign at this entrance could convey or hey, maybe he could come tell me like a professional? I told him sorry, have a great day, and left.Guess what everyone? My car is now down the road at Apperson Auto getting inspected. Ill never be back to TLC. I really hope the old supervisor/lead is off to do bigger and better things, he was great and knew how to treat people. This new guy? I'm willing to bet I'm not going to be the only customer he costs you.

They were able to squeeze me in to get my car inspected. I was so happy because I totally forgot and I didn't want a ticket and they were super quick about it. The staff was also really friendly.

Been using them for years because they're conveniently close. Prices are a little high but pretty much always satisfied... except I've been disappointed lately that they don't quite vacuum the inside or wash the windows as well as they used to. Because of that, 4 stars.

Went to have an inspection done. Called ahead of time at 305 to make sure someone was there to do it. Showed up at 325 and he says he stops doing inspections at 4 so to come back the next day. Poor service. Poor attitudes. Will gladly take my business to someone who appreciates it.

I had tried other stops, but this is probably the most convenient to us as well as the most friendly. I like knowing that my investments are in good hands and I felt that the staff took good care of my car in the moment as well as for when we took a multiple-day road trip.

Extremely disappointed...AGAIN! I will never go back to any TLC location for service of any kind again. For the second time they failed to check my transmission fluid and this was part of the service I paid for. I watched as they worked on my vehicle and never saw them check the transmission fluid and when I was checking out I asked if they checked my transmission fluid. The young lady stuck her head through the door and asked the mechanic who said yes he checked it. I left and promptly stopped to check it myself...and yes I know how to check...leave it in park and engine idling. It was low so either he didn't check or he doesn't know how to read it. Either way it does not instill confidence in their service. They are either dishonest or incompetent...or maybe both.

I took my jeep here for an oil change because a family member goes here. I usually have my boyfriend do this for me but he couldn't this time. The prices on the oil was higher than it should have been put I overlooked that. I left satisfied other than that until about a month later when my boyfriend was checking something and took a look at the oil. IT WAS STILL BLACK! There was no way it should have been that color unless all they did was add oil. Around $70 just for them to add high millage oil. I will never go back to this place again!!!!

DO NOT GO TO TLC AT ALL!!! Due to one mistake it has caused a tremendous domino effect of errors with my car. If you take your car to them, please expect to take it else where to get your car fixed/corrected. In my case it was power steering fluid which caused a bad pump, etc. Plus they WILL forget to put on you oil cap, so please double check that. That is all.

This place does not comply with state mandated Covid 19 safety measures. Nothing posted about the use of masks, social distancing, etc. Their employees don t wear masks or social distance themselves from customers nor do they require customers to wear masks. When I asked about this their employee told me that it wasn t necessary and didn t do any good and told me very rudely that I could leave. They don t care about doing their part in preventing the spread of a potentially deadly virus.

Took my RAV4 for an oil change. They couldn t get the filter container off. Refund-if you count $2 off. Still paid $36.84 for a job that wasn t done.

They moved the adjustment of the steering wheel and did not return it to my placement. When I started driving down the 4 lane highway I had to pull over and fix the steering wheel. It was dangerous for me to drive as it was set by them.

My truck had an oil leak took it to them and they were able to fix it within 20 minutes and showed me how they fixed it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
