Fantastic service! I took my jeep in for new break pads and an inspection and was kindly greeted at the counter by Olivia. She was nice and honest about what needed to be done, and at a great price too! I will definitely return for the great customer service, great work, and determination to help out! Highly recommend!!

I had some emergent car repairs but the soonest any other shop could get me in was over a week. I called Gatti at 4:30pm and he told me to bring it over right then, I was so surprised! By the time I got to the shop (less than 10 minutes from my house) he had ordered the part I needed and was ready to do my repair even though it was already after hours. He had me in and out in an hour and gave me the best service I ve ever had! I got my car fixed fast and Gatti got a customer for life, cannot recommend them highly enough!

Arrived for a scheduled appointment 8/30/23 10AM and was asked if I wanted to wait for service or return later. I left and called 4:30 PM. Charles advised me that the requested transmission drain/refill and tire totation had not been done. Told Charles I needed my car and asked what I owed for the scan and he said nothing (as in $0). At 5:03 PM Charles called saying transmission was draining and he would call back. He brought my car to me at 5:29 PM and I paid the bill. I considered the labor charge excessive and next day called Charles and indicated I felt he labor charge was high, he agreed and suggested he could knock $115 off the bill, I asked how about $215 and that's when he got sarcastic and asked if I wanted all labor charges back. I said yes! When can I pick it up? He said I'll mail it to you. I have not received the check 3 weeks later. The tire rotation I requested was not done as Charles determined there was an issue with wear pattern on tires. I had the tires rotated elsewhere the following day and have not had issues Charles indicated I should expect. Additionally another shop determined I did not need new rotors Charles suggested.

I contacted Gatti Automotive after having a few other estimates on having some major repair work quoted for my Ford F-250. Charles was able to give me a very close quote on the phone, had good reviews so I decided to give them a chance. I brought my truck in on my appointment date, and they got right to work on it. After a few days of disassembly, Charles called me to let me know he had discovered several other major issues and asked me to stop by so he could show me what was going on. We discussed him replacing all the parts as needed, and he was very fair with the pricing. It was scary to see my awesome truck in about 1,000 pieces, but his technicians know their trade, made excellent diagnoses of what parts needed to be replaced, reassembled to spec, then double and triple checked everything with several road tests to make sure everything was perfect. He even found that the anti-freeze was quite low so he topped that off and changed the oil and filter. Now my truck is like new, even though it has 205,000 miles. I am confident to drive across the country in this truck now. I took it on a 50 mile road test right after I picked it up and it ran perfectly. Gatti Automotive was excellent with which to deal, and very fair with their prices, and communication was perfect through the whole repair. Small place run very well all the people are very nice job well done on my Jeep compass at the front two wheel assemblies replaced with the hubs and brakes they save me a good bit of money on the parts very pleased with them happily recommend them excellent

I set up an appointment for some preventative maintenance that I have been trying to get done for a few years. I sent the girlfriend to get it complete and she came back excited to have gone. She has been annoyed with other auto repair shops but this shop made her happy and didnt belittle her. I am happy to have chosen this shop and they are good people being nice.Service: Auto maintenance

Met Dave today when I was driving through town trying to get service on a custom vehicle. I've been to over a dozen shops over the last 2 weeks because I'm in a new city/state every week and couldn't get my truck seen in time by anyone.Dave took the time to do a quick diagnostic and he just saved me a ton of time and headaches. There's an honest element at this shop that I appreciate too. If you need a service done I would tell you to talk to him. Thanks again.

Gatti Automotive has been great the two times I've used them. A couple years ago I attempted to change my own radiator (unsuccessfully) and called Gatti to see if they could squeeze me in before the weekend. He said they were booked and that I could drop my car off anyway and they might be able to get to it. When I dropped it off I informed George (the owner) that I was also having an issue with my AC. Not only was Billy able to look over my car earlier than expected, they had it fixed the next day. They also determined that the issue with my AC would just take a small repair to fix. My radiator and AC are both still working today, two years later.On my recent visit I had a list of things that had been neglected and an inspection that was past due. I called and spoke with David, the Service Manager and let him know what issues I needed addressed. He let me know that they were booked that day, but they again allowed me to drop my car off early since I have a difficult work schedule. David was actually able to get it assessed the same dayand called me to go over pricing for the recommended repairs. He explained which repairs were required for the state inspection and which things could wait for another time. I went ahead and authorized them to take care of everything since it was there. He explained that some parts would need to be ordered, but it would be done in two days. I dropped my car off on Tuesday and on Thursday I was able to take it home.The price was fair and everyone I've spoken with there has always been professional and knowledgeable. Whenever I need work in the future I will use Gatti Automotive.

My first review of this shop was somehow deleted, but I wanted to post again because I had such a good experience with this shop. I made an online appointment request on a Wednesday night, and they were able to schedule me immediately for that Friday morning. What I expected to be an expensive fix somehow only ended up costing $14 - I don t think I ve ever had a mechanic bill that low! The guys working were quick, efficient, and kept me in the loop about everything regarding my car. I m new to the Roanoke area and wasn t expecting to find such a great mechanic on my first try, but I ll definitely be coming back here for any future problems with my cars!

My dad and I went to remove some corroded screws from my license plate and the staff were helpful, efficient, and cooperative. I highly recommend reaching out to David if you need repairs/inspections done on your car. He helped to remove the screws off the license plate free of charge (even though my dad and I offered to pay for the work). It shows you how much great customer service is a main focus here.

They stand behind their work and always try their best to do the right thing.They have solved some very difficult to diagnose issues. They areKeeping my Jeep safe, roadworthy and functioning for several years now.

My Jeep Liberty was having AC problems. When I went in for my last oil change at a tire and lube place (out of convenience) I asked them to take a look. 2 trips and $500+ later, I had a partially repaired AC that didn't work. On the way out, they said, "Oh by the way, this will be the next thing to break..." etc. and so on. I learned my lesson. They weren't the right people for the job. They should have said so, but the lure of money is too great for some. Also shame on me for not seeking out experts.When I relocated to Roanoke, I was nervous about finding someone I trusted. After asking around and reading reviews, everyone consistently told me of the positive experience they have had with Automotive Radiator. I work long hours with few days off during the month. One Sunday, I called to leave a message, but I was shocked when someone answered the phone. In addition, the person on the other end asked if I wanted to bring it in that day (I didn't think they were open on the weekend). In any event, Josh asked me several questions and then asked about goals, budget, etc. After the initial assessment, he explained in plain, clear language what the issues were and what my options were for repair. He gave me a more than fair estimate compared to other places I had visited, and he completed the service that same day. He asked me to follow up in a week to ensure the repair was still correct.Even better than the fair price and excellent communication is the peace of mind they provide with the warranty. They stand behind the parts and work for either a mileage amount or a specified time frame, whichever works out to benefit the customer.I had to take it back later for a continued check engine warning. They checked the code, diagnosed a simple hose that had a hole in it, and sent me on my way with no charge after the repair. It was a simple thing for them, but to me, it speaks volumes for the type of business they run and the people running it.They are a model for customer service and pride in profession.

I took my car in for AC service after having problems for over a yearthat another garage could not locate. It was fixed right the first timeand is now running properly.Staff was very friendly and took my car in the garage right ontime.I am very pleased with the price of the repair which I did notthink was excessive.Thanks to all at Automotive Radiator & AC for a good experience.

Brought in my car with a broken AC that no one else could fix locally, and on a time crunch, as I was moving in a few weeks. They were able to get me in quickly, assess the problem, and get my car back in with the parts, and a lasting fix, even under the time pressure I put on them. Staff were friendly, and very thorough in explaining what the problem was, and what they would do to fix it. Price estimates were accurate, and there were no unexpected costs. Knowing that I was heading on a long road trip, they checked my car for me and offered some recommendations for work I might want to do before taking the trip. In all, service was thorough, friendly, effective, and not too expensive. If I were staying in the area, I would bring my car to them for all my repair and maintenance needs.

Dropped my "new" truck off to Automotive Radiator & AC to get the front right wheel bearings looked at and a few other small issues.....Honestly these guys are frigging awesome.They quickly corrected my problem and informed me about some other minor issues and had me out the door very quickly.I could NOT beat the price...Any were else would have easily charged triple what they charged me.Overall they do GREAT work at GREAT prices!

This place is professional, and I was short 3 dollars and they were generous and dropped the remaining charge so I could leave with amazing new brakes. They fixed it just like new, and got me in the same week I called. Super nice and down to earth with great prices! Definitely recommend.

Was in Roanoke today test driving used cars. Was able to stop in and get immediate assistance w/ determining vehicle's issues. They really saved me from buying a lemon. Gave the car a thorough look over and spent time explaining the car's needs and value to me. Well worth the price of the service. I highly recommend them to females who don't always feel like they can trust mechanics. I'll be back again.

Got me in for an inspection at the last minute.Staff was courteous and gave me a good deal on a replacement bulb. They even warned me about replacing my brake pads soon, most places would have failed my inspection for it to try to take advantage of me.They had a nice waiting room with a complimentary cold soda waiting for you!

I took a car that I was interested in purchasing in for a head to toe inspection, and was very impressed with the service!They were very professional, and did an excellent job finding out literally everything that was wrong with it. They sat down and in detail discussed it with me and answered any questions I had about it.They are a bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. In this case, great service!I would recommend taking your car here for any quality work you want done on it.

Automotive Radiator is where I go for our family's auto needs! I trust them, they explain everything well, and they answer any questions I might have. Most places just want you in and out- no questions- just pay them and move on. But they have always been sweet and care about the customer- not just the car and the money. I recommend them to anyone I know!

I called ahead to check about vehicle inspections and the gentleman that I spoke to was very nice and help me set up an appointment. The inspection didn't take long at all and they fixed one issue I had for a very fair price. Also, they have a really nice waiting area with wifi and complimentary drinks!

Next day appointments, excellent service, fair pricing for labor, and clean restrooms with every visit! I have been a client since moving to Roanoke a couple of years ago. If your vehicle is important to you then Gatti's should be your first choice.

Have been a customer for several years and I trust George and his team's expertise. Their customer service is warm, friendly, and thoughtful, and I've never had any problems with the quality of their work. If you are operating on a tight budget like me (many of us are these days), they will work with you to develop a plan of action that best fits your needs and resources, including looking for used or refurb parts if that is what would work best. They have never done an "up-sell" to push me into a pricier product than I was comfortable with, like some mechanics I've had.There are some places I've walked into where they took one look at me, and my elderly car, and treated me like dirt (since they knew I wouldn't be able to afford any big-ticket work). Not Automotive Radiator. When there has been a mechanical issue I've not understood, George and his team have patiently explained it to me, rather than taking a condescending attitude towards my ignorance. When my car broke down on a West Virginian mountainside, George took my call and spent most of an hour helping walk me through determining what had happened. Far more than their prices or their mechanical know-how, what strikes me about the folks at Automotive Radiator is that they really care that their customers have a safe and reliable car and the peace of mind it brings, and not just about making a buck. It's this attitude towards customer care that makes them #1 in my book.
