My tire pressure light came on during a long-haul transport to get a rescue dog from his foster in TN to his adopters in NJ. Stopped by without an appointment, but they got me in and out within an hour. My tire just needed a patch job, and they didn t even charge me! The team has my gratitude, and their assistance meant that a senior boxer has a new home with two new moms that love him with all their hearts

Because I came in to have my alignment checked anif needed tires rotated. While there, (which is fine) they found that the driver side strut was bent. Which I was sure was the reason for the misalignment. I got hit in the driver side front by a vehicle passing me on the highway that caused the damage. But while I was there they checked the battery which I knew was weak also and they originally were just going to replace it. I said not now I know the status of it I came for the other work. So after saying no they still tried selling it to me. To me no means no! I can see asking someone again before they pay not just say and a battery and try to add it to the bill. I like the service that was done I just didn't like the battery situation.

Absolute scam. Took my car there for an inspection and new tires, and they told me my car needed $1,300 worth of repairs. I knew this was a lie, and they were deliberately trying to force my hand to get these things done, as they told me they were putting a rejection sticker on my car, I magically received a credit line increase on my Firestone credit card. What are the chances, they really think they re smart. I immediately took it to the guy I trust over at 9th street garage, and he told me he could only find one thing wrong, and it was a $272 fix. If you re trusting Firestone with your repairs, you might as well be throwing your money in the trash. I will never go there again.

Took my truck in for an alignment and inspection. They warned me that because my truck is lifted, they might have trouble with the alignment. That is acceptable. They called to say it was ready and I went to pick it up. They said the tech spent two hours on the alignment and could not get it aligned. No charge to me. That is also very acceptable. Happy so far. I left and drove around the block. The toe on the right wheel was off by about 10 degrees! (I dropped it off with toe at about 0. ) It was not safe to drive to I immediately went back they could clearly see in the parking lot that the toe was off. I asked the angry tech if he could move the right wheel in and tech he 45 minutes fiddling with it again. They said it was fixed and I left again. This time is was at about 8 degrees off. The tire squealed 5 blocks until I left it in a parking lot. I returned the next day to the parking lot and adjusted the tie rod myself so I could get the truck home. I then did my own alignment in my garage and found Firestone had only adjusted the right side and the cam nuts were still loose. They never touched the left side. (cam nuts were painted and not scratched). I understand that they could not do the alignment with their machine and the unqualified tech. Perfectly reasonable since my truck was not standard, but to return the truck with the toe set 10 degrees off on one wheel and loose cam nuts is not acceptable. It was undriveable. At their recommendation, I will take it to a shop that specializes in alignments.

Took my car here because my motor was misfiring, and they told me I needed new spark plugs. Paid for the new plugs and labor ($500+ at this shop ) and the car seemed to run better, at least. Months go by and my motor begins to misfire again, so I took the car to another mechanic that s closer to my residence. Come to find out, they left one of the plugs completely unchanged.The new mechanic told me that the plug was extremely difficult to remove, so I suspect that s why the mechanic at Firestone decided to give up on it. Seriously though?? They said nothing to me about this, and still charged me for it?? This place is not worthy of anyone s trust. Stick with private mechanics.

I've had my vehicle serviced there 3 times now. This is the second time that in the same day the tire light comes on. There's different fressures for the front and rear, when they rotate the tires the pressure is not adjusted . This last time I'm missing the service sticker and ran out of washer fluid the same day as well. Part of the service is topping off fluids which wasn't done. With them missing those things makes me wonder what else wasn't done

The staff member handling the front was courteous, friendly, respectful, and professional. He dealt most elegantly with an irate customer haranguing him about a price disagreement, then got to me quickly to sort out my car's issue.

Other than the fact that a walk-in was seen before me -- I had an actual appointment -- I received good service. Convenient location on Williamson Road downtown . The two men at the front counter were courteous and helpful. Large reception area clean restroom and of course great views while waiting.

Brought my car in for 4 new tires and a brake job. They got rid of most of the shimmy. May have to take it back as I have the life time alignment I bought thru them. Service was fast and friendly and I m very happy with the tires they recommended.

an absolute nightmare , I took 4 loose wheels with tires to this location , I wanted them to remove the tires from the wheels a few hours later they called and informed me that the wheels were ready.when I was loading them in the trunk of my car as I was inspecting them I noticed a very large dent which was not there before .when I informed them , all three of them attacked me ( not physically)and said there was no way their tire machine had done this.I can not believe that 3 grown man would lie about something like that instead of taking responsibility.this is my second worst experience with any shop in the region , granted to say I have many cars and i maintain them myself and I know my cars up and down.I would not trust these guys , stay away . my next step is to call the corporate office and file a civil lawsuit.as I am typing this review I am shaking from anger.the store manager tried to insult me by saying that this is a 10 dollars wheel when nobody asked his opinion about the price , when confronted him about his poor evaluation of my property he increased his assessment immediately to 100 dollars , which is not the point but tells you a lot about the store manager's character.

Beware: I brought my car here for an inspection and was failed for needing a new tie rod. I took it to the local dealership for a second opinion and they said my tie rods looked perfectly fine. If you search "tie rod" in the reviews of this location you'll find similar stories.

Took my jeep to get 4 new tires, dropped it off & took my second car to pick up the jeep while there my tire light came on for my Suv Honda, so I got the tire serviced there , picked up the next day, heard a weird noise me not knowing anything about cars think it s just because it s a fresh tire , mind u I never really drive my Honda it s just for when we have all the kids and need a extra seat , I went to drive it again and while on interstate it started shaking so bad I had to slow down to dangerous speeds while on highway I pulled over to a car lot who told me to get to Firestone immediately because my lug nuts was not on my car and one was broken off . I took it to fire store who owned up to all responsibilities but still me and my kids could have been severely injured because of negligence. I paid for a job that was not done properly or even checked. A simple I ll fix the tire is not enough .Service: Tires

This place was awesome. We are from Maryland and was in bluefield Va for our son s football game and on our way back home we got a flat tire. We stayed in a hotel until the next morning and called this Firestone and they had the tire we need. Nakota was awesome treated use very good. Nice, polite and just great customer service. We where back on the road within an hour. Thank you store #654876.

Took my son's car there and they insisted the tie rods had to be replaced for it to pass inspection. We paid over $400 for them to replace them.Five weeks later, he was having some work done at his friend's shop and they said the tie rods were really bad and needed to be replaced. They showed him the old ones that clearly had never been touched. In fact, one was dry rotted and had no grease whatsoever.When we took them back and showed them they said they had replaced them but couldn't explain the deteriorated condition.It is blatantly obvious to everyone, even the guy behind the counter at Firestone, that they never replaced the bad ones and charged us for them.This place is a complete rip off. Avoid them completely!

These people are solid. My front axle broke while I was driving and they went so far above and beyond and that I can t imagine taking my car anywhere else for repairs at this point. Seriously - do yourself a favor and check this place out. The place is clean, the staff is kind, professional, informed, compassionate, and always go out of their way to be helpful.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Oil change

This place is terrible. Don't take your car there for an inspection they will do everything they can to sell you on other services. Passed one of my vehicles for years in a row to fail it for the same thing they have passed in all the other years. Once they found out I wasn't spending any other additional money they failed me. Honestly the customer service has always sucked, Inspections are wishy washy and there service is terrible.

Took car in for inspection as our trusted service center was booked until the following week and we were in a pinch. These pieces of garbage failed the inspection and lied about tire rods needing replacement and said that if we didn t pay over $2000 for them to replace them, our car might wind up in a ditch and us in an ambulance. Fortunately, we waited and got a second opinion from our trusted folks. They told us that many customers have told them that Firestone employees do this to women and men who don t show high vehicle knowledge. Everything was fine with our car and it passed inspection.

Driver's side CV Axle started clicking the day after I got my car inspected... EDIT: So after buying a CV axle I discovered that the mechanic here over-torqued or cross threaded the hell out of a lug stud and nut last month during inspection. My wheel has been gradually becoming more and more loose hence why I thought a CV axle was progressively going bad. The clicking was the wheel at low speeds rotating on the hub. He knew the lug stud got messed up and left an open half-inch nut on to make it easier for me to replace the stud. It cost me $7.50 plus a quarter tank of gas to repair this. At THEIR cost this shouldn't have been $5 to own up to.

These guys are great. I ve had three vehicles serviced and inspected by them and I can always trust that they ll do quality work. My fianc�e had an APPOINTMENT for 9:30 just to get 2 tires that s it and yet it s 11:08 and we re STILL here. Then we find out our tire monitor was not changed!! But I will say this even thought the one guy lied and told us the part wasn t there and it would be another couple hours the other guy said part was there and took us right in and handled it. I had probably the best experience that I have ever had a tire shop in my life. The night before my girlfriend hit a curb and gashed the sidewall of the tire. We went to this tire shop and the man at the counter was extremely helpful and got us on our way with little cost and hassle. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone who needs work done on their vehicle.Thank You Firestone.

My husband was told he could not make an appointment for an inspection it was only first come first serve . We are an hour away, so he was there at 6:30 AM, to make sure he was first. To his disappointment, he was told there were 8 cars ahead of him from people that had dropped their cars the day before. (My husband had to sit and wait until 3:00 pm to get his truck inspected.)They should have let him know when he called for an appointment; that dropping his car was an option for him.
