I love working on cars and I m a huge fan of Advanced Auto Parts and the staff / team at the Brambleton location specifically (which is 0.4 miles from my house). I m work on everything from Corvettes to our Dodge Minivan and an old 93 Caddy Limo we mess around with. They have a huge inventory and even when they don t have something there they can almost always get it quickly. The warranty on parts is awesome - piece of mind that your only going to pay for something once. Prices a very good and made even better by Speed Perks! Took care of terminally ill mother in chesapeake for 1.5 yr. connected deep cycle battery to mercruiser 350 for 15 min. Had sat garage counter 1 yr. Would not crank, 2 volts on voltmeter. Took back, continuously implied I was lying by employee. Been coming here for years, will not come back. Battery defective

Engine light came on because my transmission fluid level was low. I m disabled and couldn t work on my car myself. Devin with Advance Auto assisted me in putting in my transmission fluid. Thanks to Devin my engine light turned off and my car seems to be running better. Two thumbs up for Devin s assistance. Thanks (: Advance Auto.

I stopped by with a check engine light the other day. They scanned it, explained what was most likely the problem and got me my parts in less than ten minutes. These guys are on point at this location.

Sorry but the people that work there are really not cut out to do that job .Every time i ask for something that have had limited skills to understand what it is i need . For instance i asked for a 2 7/8 muffler clamp i was brought out a gear hose clamp , i stopped going .

On January 11, 2023, I came by the Brambleton store after having countless issues with my battery/alternator. An employee named Christian S. (provided on my receipt) was such a wonderful help and was eager to do so! He went above and beyond to replace my battery even despite the cold weather. Thank you so much for making life a little easier regarding my vehicle! Outstanding, friendly and knowledgeable employee.

The young man at the counter replaced my battery in the hot sun in less than 20 minutes. Didn't feel ripped off or anything. Way more dependable than I thought it would be, will go again

I bought an alternator in October of 2021. It failed in September of 2022. It was replaced under warranty, but I had to pay to have it installed. The replacement failed in March of 2023. They expect me to pay to have the thing installed again. I spoke with the manager and the response I got was, "That's just how it happens sometimes." What an absolute joke. I am willing to accept that a part might fail once, but twice in less than two years is ridiculous! I will never buy from another Advance Auto again.

I originally reviewed this store 4 years ago. As a former employee of Advance, my levels of expectations are high. I still have this store as my "home" store. I regularly drive past one or two Advance stores to come to this one. Josh is doing a great job here and has not let the quality of service diminish. Even though some seasoned veterans have moved on, the young guys know enough to get the job done and aren't afraid to learn.

Employees are always kind and helpful, and store usually has what I need in stock. Can't really ask a whole lot more from a chain auto parts store.

Store is fine, management needs to fix the parking lot where it meets the road. Hit the bottom of the van on the way in and out. Shouldn't need an off roading lifted truck to get to the store.

I don t usually feel inspired to write a review about an auto parts store but my experience was really great. I came in knowing that I needed new wipers and nothing else and one of the nice gentleman that work there looked up what kind my car needed, grabbed them from the shelf, and even put them on my car for me in the rain. I appreciated all of the employees help and will definitely come back to this location when I need things for my car

Horrible service. Hour away from home needed battery . Purchased it asked for help was on way out to help manager announced in front of customers store closing for maintenance. Associate went to my car said he couldn't help me he would not be able to get it out. Asked for refund on battery got it went to o'Reilly's just down the street and they install my battery right then. No good reviews for me to other possible customers!! They need to read all reviews. Poor management!!!

Generally helpful staff and good selection! Occasionally, I will feel like I'm being condescended to when asking for more details to questions by some of the male staff but not consistent or blatant enough for me to not come here. For example, I was told that whoever had done some work on my car was "sketchy" and didn't recommend I return to where I got it done and that they (the AAP employee) would never have done it that way. While I appreciate the attempt to help, it was not related to what he was helping me with and seemed over the top for the cursory glance he gave it. Especially considering I've been going to that mechanic for 15 years and trust them to be good to me. It felt a bit like being scolded for trusting that company (who the employee obviously didn't like) when "clearly I'd been taken advantage of". Still, it's a good store and I do think they want to be helpful !

Extremely friendly! My car was over heating, I had my 6 year old with me and it was late and cold outside and the clerk actually stayed open 10 minutes after closing time so he could help me find out what part I needed to fix my car so I could make it over an hour away back home! He was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Great service and knowledgeable staff. I ordered a battery for my car online and was able to go to the store and pick it up no problem. Since I ordered online at their website, they provided a code for 25% off my entire order. Please note however, that if you order online, there is a 30 minute window to pick it up in store.

Ever since Dakota and his new crew have started to run the place my experience has gone from just pretty good to outstanding. Even when they are short staffed they take the time with each customer to make sure you have everything you need before you walk out. You may wait another 3 minutes for service, but when they address you, they are 100% focused on your needs. Management should congratulate them on their performance. You all have an amazing team! Hands down the best place to go in Roanoke!

Car broke down and I went to this advanced auto and got fuel cleaner. Allen's customer service is amazing. He was so friendly and smiley it made my day so much better. Also gave a great mechanic recommendation. Thank you Allen!

Review is directed at corporate. Bring back the book to select wiperblades. Not everything need to be digital. The Trico website doesnt even have TricoOnyx. A waste of everyones time, including your employees.]Edit: I shouldn't have to use a computer, smart phone, or go to the parts counter 3 times to find wiper part numbers when I can't find a matching set (out of stock). The employee was very helpful.

I had an issue with a burned out headlight on a Subaru and came in to figure out which type of bulb I needed. Some things on subarus can be costly and I wasn't sure if what i was facing.They were fairly busy, as usual, as well as undermanned . Which often is the case. So I had to wait a bit which I am also used to. However, Dakota, the store supervisor said, "you've waited long enough ". He thanked me for my patience, went out to my car and immediately took care of the issue, rang me up, and again thanked me for my "patience". Businesses would do much better if they focused more on customer service like Dakota did.
