These guys are great. They provide good quality work at fair prices. I highly recommend working with them if you're looking for a good Mercedes specialist. These guys are awesome and the only place I plan on taking my Mercedes to! Called them Tuesday night about a thermostat replacement and they had it done by 3 in the afternoon the next day. Also didn t give me a hard time about doing my own diag like the dealership did when I called and haven t tried to upsell me on anything any of the 3 times I ve been there now.

My 35-year-old R107 roadster had been sitting for a few years when I bought this little low mileage beauty. It leaked oil, ran rough and stalled, the a/c was broken, and it had a few other issues. Sam and his team worked their magic and the car is now running perfectly and the a/c is cold. I love it when a business "under promises and over delivers." The Mercedes specialists at World Foreign Car Service in Richmond are simply the best! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I just moved to the area and I started to have some issues with my Mercedes . I searched the internet and came across World Foreign Car Services Mercedes. Their reviews were above 4.5 and I provided a detailed description of my issues. After setting a time to drop off my vehicle, I met Joe and I provided him with a recording in which he immediately new exactly what was the issue.After about 5 hours I had my car back running. I waited about a week before writing this review because I wanted to be honest as possible.I highly recommend World Foreign Car Services. I trust them. Sam and Joe are fantastic MB guys. Went there today with two related symptoms. On the spot they found a vacuum leak, repaired and cured the problem. I'm a regular customer with an older car. No charge, problem solved. I'll return.

World Foreign Car Services has serviced multiple Mercedes for us for about 8 years for regular maintenance and problem solving. Very reliable. Pricing always seems fair and reasonable. I trust their feedback and recommendations. They routinely find a quick and effective solution to any tricky issue. We find them as genuine, trustworthy and competent as any vehicle service provider with whom we have worked. Highly recommended.

Friendliest and helpful German car mechanic in Richmond area. Daughter stopped by w an electrical issue and she was seen quickly and the issue diagnosed easily as a poor battery connection. My car wouldn t start on my way home, and this shop helped me in a bind. Excellent service with a quick turnaround time. If I lived in the Richmond area, this would be my shop of choice.

Let me tell you I have driven past this shop for the last 15 years and would see the Mercedes in the lot and just thought it was odd to see so many. Well 2022 I got a awesome deal on a 2014 C250 and was worried about the miles at over 150k so decided to go to the Mercedes dealership and they offer suggestions at an exorbitant price. Went to check with World Foreign Auto and they checked my car and put my mind at ease in one day. I will continue to give them my business and appreciate what they do for us poor drivers who want a good luxury car without the luxury auto repair costs.

I love this place! Joe and Sam are honest, told me to use my warranty (that I was not even aware that I had) instead of taking advantage of me like others had tried to do. Were really helpful in making calls and getting information in regards to the issues with this car being that I just purchased it. Offered all-around great advice on how to deal with diesel engines in the future and how to proceed with my issue. Would totally recommend. Awesome and professional!

I towed my Mercedes Sprinter van to this shop when I broke down about 100 miles south of Richmond and after reading all the positive reviews on their shop. Based on my experience, those positive reviews were spot on.They were extremely polite and helpful. Ultimately, they were unable to help me because my enormous van was too big for their shop, but they did talk with me about the issues and perform some initial diagnostics to give me an idea of the type of repair I was looking at. They also offered to put me in touch with the towing company they used, and answered my follow up questions after I left to drink some tea and think about my options.

The service and pricing here are the best! I ve used them for several years and I have never been disappointed. I made the mistake of going to Mercedes one time for the loner car but it was not worth the exhorbinant pricing. Sam and Joe are classic honest business owners. I took my MB C300 to the dealership for a specialized repair. The dealership's quote was high (no surprise there) so decided to check with another shop and found this one. I spoke with Sam and even though I wasn't having them do the repair, he recommended that the dealership use another repair part that would save me $500. The dealership hadn't thought about this cheaper (and better) alternate part and agreed it was a good idea. Next time I need a repair for my Benz I'll check with World Foreign Car Services.

Was having trouble with my 2017 G Wagon, with other repair shops balking at the vibration in my steering, talking about having to take the vehicle apart to diagnose, NOBODY wanted to touch this vehicle, or quote me on a repair. Well, these guys figured it out and did a great job repairing multiple other problems that had been building up. For the primary problem, we talked about the repair needed ($$$$) but I was advised that the problem was not likely to be progressive and may be just fine as is. I have waited a several months to write this review, and the vehicle is unchanged, the vibration is still here, but so is my money... So not only were many jobs done well and for a very fair price, but I saved money on not performing an unnecessary repair! I used to only take my Mercedes to the dealer. I keep my car in the best shape I can, with regular service. I like to fix anything as soon as there is a problem, and World Foreign Car Service has saved me so much time and money since I started taking my car there. Call ahead and schedule your appointment and they are certain to get the work done faster than any dealership, and without the high price tag. They are fair, honest, and fast. I will buy another Benz when the time comes, and I know it will be in good hands with WFCS. - Tiffany Jana

Great customer service and communication. They diagnosed my problem, and completed repairs in the same day. They fully explained what the problem was and provided great service. I had taken my Mercedes to 2 other places. Neither could diagnose the problem correctly. World Foreign Car Service was great.

I bought a 20 year old hard top convertible. I was so excited to put the top down yesterday, which I have had no trouble with previously! It would not go down. The previous owner had told me he always used World Foreign Auto, that it was a good repair shop with an honest owner. I drove in thinking that I would need to leave it and have a big repair bill. The owner came out fixed the problem in about 10 minutes. When I went to pay, he walked away, waved his hand and said have a nice day! Now that is a pretty wonderful experience. He did not have to be so kind! I will most definitely bring my car there for whatever it needs!

High Integrity & KnowledgeableI have an older SL 500 that started having problems with the power convertible roof. This team, that has only worked on my car once before:- Worked my car in that week on short notice while they had a lot full of other vehicles to see/service- Quickly identified that it was a power reset issue, not a mechanical issue- Saw me a second day immediately when the problem seemed to reoccur. And Resolved itCharges were very, very minimal. I fear a dealer would have taken me for hundreds.I won't be taking my Mercedes anywhere else for service. Let's hope I don't need any though.

Highly skilled group here with excellent service, as well as fair pricing. I had significant brake issues on an older car and they fixed me up for a fraction of the dealership quote. They took great care of me and I have nothing but positive things to say, highly recommend.

Brought my car here to have it looked at and was told I would need to spend $1,000 to possibly fix the Issue, then I declined the repairs. When I went to pick my car up it would not start so I asked the Mecancic why all of the sudden the car won t start and he said I don t know. Then I asked him if he can try to figure out why it won t start being that it had no issues starting before I brought it to his shop and his response was you have to start with $1,000 repair that I quoted you. So I let him know very nicely think you but I will just have the car towed to one of my other Mercedes mechanic s and I had to pay him $178 for nothing.Euro Import on research road took care of the issue for $150 . Not just the starting issue but that issue that was brought in to this mechanic initially.

I took my car to World Foreign Car over a month ago because I was having a bunch of electrical issues. I had a 2002 C240 Benz so I wasn't surprised that it was finally having problems. The mechanics were having an extremely hard time fixing the problem because they had never come across something like this before. I ended up having to have my car worked on for a solid two and a half days. Finally, I was told that my car was "fixed" and that a new SAM for the front and back was needed. I was very relieved at first and very appreciative of all there hard and rigorous work to find the problem. However 15 minutes of leaving WFC, all those electrical problems that I had originally came back and even some newer ones. I wasted over $1,200 to get my car looked at there. I will say that the owner was extremely nice and didn't charge me for the labor since it took them so long. I found that to be extremely respectable because that would've been a lot more. When I took my car to McGeorge Mercedes later that day, they said my car was basically not worth fixing and to just buy a new one. I've been a proud owner of a 2016 VW Jetta Turbo ever since. I think these guys are excellent for any regular work on your car but I definitely wouldn't recommend them for any electrical problems at all.

They always take care of my car super fast, let me bring my own parts if I want (without complaints) and don't nickel and dime for small things. They also don't force or make any recommendations that are not necessary. Owning an s class has been much easier because of them. Their parking lot is too small to host all of their customers cars, so make sure to call them before you drop it off. Sincere, fast and honest. Highly recommended :)Also, there's a bunch of restaurants and shops around so if you need to kill time around there it's very easy and convenient.

My wife lost a sentimental ring inside the center console of our C300. I stopped by without an appointment just to inquire about a price to take it apart further than I already had. Sam, owner, came out of his office immediately began disassembling the console. After about 20 minutes and some busted knuckles, Sam pulled the ring from the car. I asked what I owed him and he would not accept anything for his help. I am now a customer for life and I recommend anyone with a Mercedes to stop by and talk to Sam if you need any work done.

After reading the positive reviews I decided to give Sam & Joe a chance and I must say that the reviews were right. I've taken my C240 Benz to them on several occasions and I must say that I've been beyond pleased with their professionalism, work ethic and customer service. They go ABOVE AND BEYOND for their customers. I actually took my car in for my service B with the intent of taking it to be inspected the following day as my sticker I was going to expire the next day, to my surprise when I picked it up my STATE INSPECTION was complete the pink slip and inspection invoice in my passenger seat. When I asked about this I was told "We noticed your sticker was going to expire and we had a small window of time so we took it next door and took care of it for you" THEIR COMBINATION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE & GREAT QUALITY OF WORK MAKES THEM A RARE FIND!!!! THEY HAVE DEFINITELY FOUND A REPEAT CUSTOMER IN ME.

Called to make an appointment to diagnose my vehicle. Agent was unprofessional and short. Was not able to advise me of the next available appointment time. Spoke over me and wouldn t allow me to speak. Would not recommend. Didn t allow them to service my vehicle therefore I m unable to speak to the quality of work. The first impression was horrible!

Best Indie Mercedes mechanics in Richmond, VA! My entire family and I have purchased and serviced our Benz's from Joe and Sam for many years and have nothing but good things to say about them. They are always honest and clear about working on our cars and never beat around the bush. If you take your Benz anywhere else in Richmond you are wasting your money and taking huge risks with your investment!
