One word....AMAZING! I had recently been using another repair shop for my fleet of vehicles but unfortunately was not impressed. I came across Weaver doing a google search and figured to give them a try. They have handled several vehicles of mine at this time and they are always courteous, professional and continue to impress me. They always keep me posted about the status of my vehicles and make a recommendation on what to do. I WILL NEVER leave them and I trust them 100% with all my vehicles. Broke down on I95 on a Sunday, transfer case went dry the kaput. Lisa was awesome to deal with, they fit me in and set me up with a used transfer case and I was able to pick it up the following Friday. They didn t bleed my wallet, very reasonable prices.

Super nice staff (Emily and Lisa), easy to get to, trustworthy diagnostics- they don t try to upsell you to do unnecessary expensive stuff. Great place!

They diagnosed the issue quickly and ordered the part. It took a few days for that to arrive but when it did I took my car in at 8:00 and it was finished by 11:30 and shifting smoother than it ever has. All of the employees were friendly and knowledgeable. The repair cost just about what I expected it to cost.

They are great at what they do and therefore they can charge a tidy sum but you will always be happy with the transmission that your car has afterwards.

My truck wouldn t shift past 2nd gear, these guys diagnosed the issue , called me and sent pictures. They had my truck fixed and running like it should in no time! Weaver transmission was great! Very professional, great work! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

If you are still searching for locations to take your vehicle, I highly suggest you stop right here. I've never been more impressed with a team of automotive professionals. These folks are incredibly honest, candid in their assessments, and diligent about the work they perform. They worked with me and helped talk me through several options for the truck so that I could make the best determination on what met my budget and long term needs from the vehicle. Will be referring friends and family to them as often as I am able.

Fantastic experience with Weaver. Jason and Emily are fantastic employees, price was solid, and though I haven't picked my car up yet, I have no question that great work was done. Jason talked to me like a human, explained the issue in layman's terms, price was right on par for quality service. Charged me $687 for a clutch kit that retails for $277, and I had to take the car in for an alignment afterward which I thought would have been done considering the $1000 in labor they charged to put it in. Other than that, they got it done quickly and the clutch feels good so far.

These guys and gal are awesome. Their work is great (they fix other shops mistakes)! They are upfront with their work, competitive prices, I will go back for any transmission work. You cannot go wrong with Weaver Transmission in Mechanicsville, they remind me of my hometown shop.

These guys (and gals) are great. I was having some shuddering, and noise as I was driving my 2007 Expedition. I was concerned that the transmission was failing and I would have to pay thousands of dollars to fix it. A customer of mine overheard me talking about it and referred me to them. I'm glad he did.They were able to work it into the shop the next day. Turns out it was a simple fix that only cost a couple hundred dollars. Not nearly as bad as I had feared.They were quick, clean, polite, answered all my questions, and very reasonably priced. I will be back.

Fantastic transmission specialists. Took my Civic in this week and they were able to diagnose and repair the issue in a flash. Prices are reasonable and the staff and technicians are very friendly and do a great job of explaining what's going on with your vehicle. I will absolutely bring my car back for service.

Our Mercury Mariner SUV was having transmission problems, I was referred by Preston Pure and it was a great referral. I dropped off vehicle, they diag'd, quoted work & price early next day. Price was reasonable and vehicle is shifting great, no leaks. Would recommend this shop!

Fantastic staff, service, and repairs. Had a clutch worn down to nothing and they gave me a quote promptly. After I brought it in, it was ready the next day. While replacing, they also ran diagnostics on transmission and gave me a quote if I would like to replace. I said I wasn't ready for that, and they didnt push the extra repair, just gave honest feedback. I will recommend this shop to anyone with transmission repair needs and will only use their service from here on!

First....for being on busy Rt 360 in Mechanicsville, VA, this business had the cleanest lot I have seen in years. I pickup trash whenever I am waiting for my vehicles and here, I had to walk the fence line; over-lap the neighbors property by 10 feet; hit the gutters and everywhere in between, just to fill a small plastic bag, the kind that would cover a 40 ounce Malt liquor can. But, enough of that....The owners; management; workers; etc. are all the kind of people you WANT to have at your house. Friendly; sociable; helpful; etc. My old Chevy van went to them 'cause the fluid was OE, and had never been changed by the previous owner [w/ 141K miles]. The original estimate was for $150-$175 for the service, but the bill was for $128.78, a very pleasant surprise. A test drive; followed by a service; followed by another test drive....my appointment was for 10:30 / and I drove away happy at 11:30AM sharp. Just fantastic. If you need transmission work done to your vehicle, it behooves you to at LEAST get an estimate from Weaver Transmission, if not everything. Don't say I didn't tell you

Very pleased with Liss who handled everything. They where very professional. They did work on my transmission and tried to do everything to fix. Although my transmission was beyond repair the went above and beyond to fix it. I highly recommend Weaver Transmission to anyone.

Can handle most transmission problems whether it's automatic or manual. We had a transmission, clutch and slave cylinder replaced there. After some adjustments, everything is working fine. They have a very good reputation in the Richmond area for their transmission repairs.

Not being in RVA and KNOWING where you can go WITHOUT feeling you been Ripped off. IT'S A BLESSING to Know you can go to Weavers Transmission and They GIVE Great Quality Work..they worked on my daughter's Ford Escape got the work done quickly and even gave her a More than Fair quote on some other things she need to get FIXED. .I heard about this place on Google I'm glad i came HERE and Will Recommend This place to everybody

I got a remanufactured transmission less than a year ago. I now have a rear main seal leak. I was told that they didnt replace the rear main seal while the transmission was already out so it's not covered under warranty. Now I'm gonna have to pay the 10-12 hour labor to take the transmission out just to replace a $30 rubber seal.

Knowledge is key. Customer service seals the deal. Transmissions are complicated! Jason McDaniel is top notch as well as the team at Weaver. The only place in Virginia I would let touch my vehicle

Great staff. Went for a diagnostic of my transmission. They found out it was not the transmission and discounted me the diagnostic fee. Such a blessing. Thanks. And recommended a place for what I needed.

These guys always go the extra mile. They wrote the book on customer service. I highly recommend them for anything related to transmissions. Make sure you speak to Lisa, she knows her stuff.

Totally unprofessional.Jason proved to be dishonest, lied and said he owned the company. Failed to perform the work agreed upon. Woud not answe calls Threatened our owner for no reason whatsoever.
