Awesome experience and great customer service starting with Mr. Darryl Buck. He made the process easy and was there to answer all of our questions every time. He was the reason we are now driving a lovely XC90. I had no idea that it would be this seamless and somehow Mr. Buck and his team got it done. We are truly grateful that he and his team stayed late to take care of us. The Best Car Buying experience I Have Ever Had. Great Job and Highly Recommended! The thing about good customer service is that when you receive it you go back for more. I asked my salesman Mr. Buck if he could find me a pick up truck and he delivered quicker than I had expected at my price point and mileage request. A cool 2017 Dodge Ram Bighorn. Cool sleek and well kept. The service department is spectacular as well. Clean area, great communication, professional and courteous! These folks really have their business in order! Don't take my word for it GO FIND OUT FOR YOURSELVES!

Highly recommend Volvo Richmond. I ve purchased 2 vehicles there in the last year, and both times they made the process simple and low stress. Our salesperson Adam took time to listen to what we wanted, look for the right match, and get us into exactly what we needed. All of the team members we ve worked with, from finance to service, go the extra mile. That combination of highly attentive and patient is hard to find. The car buying process is not always something you look forward to, but we ve legitimately enjoyed working with Haley Volvo Richmond.

We just purchased our first Volvo. Our experience has been exceptional. We found the car online and called ahead. The sales manager met us and handed us over to our sales person Darryl. We looked the XC40. Turned out we had a choice of gas or EV. After driving both we chose the EV version. We are so excited about the car.The service here has been great and super easy. No pressure tactics or add ons. Theyask what we needed anything and if we had any questions about the car.This is the way car buying should be. I would recommend coming to Volvo Richmond, should you need a new or used vehicle.P.M.

We went to purchase an additional vehicle. We had a car in mind prior to arriving. Daniel helped us - he was fantastic. He was not pushy or aggressive in his salesmanship. We test drove the car and loved it. Daniel was friendly and it was easy to discuss any questions we had with him. Ended up purchasing it the car the process was easy and quick. They were not pushy about the add ons available when we stated we did not want any they did not continue to ask which was so nice! We will definitely be back if we need another vehicle.

I started my buying process with Volvo of Richmond by reaching out online. Daniel and Cole helped me get the exact car I wanted and it was all done via text messaging and email! When I arrived at the dealership to pick up the car the next day, Daniel had all of the paperwork ready to go, provided a thorough review of the car s features, and even helped me setup the infotainment! The deal that Ryan, the finance manager, presented on paper was exactly what Cole and Daniel provided by email without any high pressure up sells and the whole process was finished in less than an hour. It was a pleasure to work with whole team to get my beautiful new XC90! Thank you Volvo of Richmond!

Daniel was a great salesman - very patient, open and transparent about the paperwork involved. He even got his manager to approve letting me test drive the car overnight to get used to it! Totally helped me make the decision. It was a Subaru, not even part of their dealership and they treated me like it was part of their typical offerings. Great experience.

We were traveling from Florida to NJ when the SRS Air Bag light went on. We were near the Haley Volvo of Richmond They were incredible. They immediately took the car in for service and promised we would get top priority to get us back on the road. Ethan and Heidi were fantastic.

*UPDATE* Awesome work and attention to detail and customer needs. I needed work done on my XC60. Heidi W. is one of the best. She made sure paperwork , costs etc were accurate and remained in constant contact. And Mark - he is an all around professional who actually cares about his craft. He found damage that 2 other Volvo dealerships and a certified collision center did not. I can t thank this group of people enough!!This location should be the example of what it means to have exceptional all around customer focus. Cristina, sales manager, handled my needs immediately!!! I mean within days she had my in the dealership. Upon arriving, Daniel K. was a breath of fresh air. Daniel was informative without being judgy or pushy and he remained professional as well as patient and helpful. Huge shout out to Ryan as well This location is clean and welcoming!! I have no concerns about continuing my service and future vehicle needs here!Thanks all for an easy breezy (almost!) experience!!!

Great experience with the sales and service team! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! They have all, especially Bucky, bent over backwards to service and repair our car. And the Volvo company takes pride in and stands behind their products. Their attention to detail and quality creates in us a real sense of loyalty. From our vantage point you can t go wrong dealing with Volvo and specifically with Volvo of Richmond.

This is my third Volvo purchase with Volvo of Richmond. Unfortunately, the first two were involved in accidents. Can't say enough about the safety and strength of a Volvo. Today we came in and met with Daniel Kutcher. He was absolutely awesome to deal with and we were driving away with our XC90 in under two hours. Thanks Daniel.

Love my new Honda Pilot that Samy sold me from Volvo of Richmond. Samy was amazing to work with. He was very upfront and honest. This vehicle was actually at another location and they had this transferred to their store so I could look at it within 24 hours. I highly recommend this dealership and would definitely buy another vehicle from them.

Don t buy a Volvo especially not from these people. Nice cars until things go wrong which on my 4 month old car they do frequently. Can not get it serviced in a timely manner, poor customer service. Car locks stopped working and they said I can drop it off with no loaner and no estimate on how long it will take. Just paid $75k for a paperweight. Lexus and BMW would never treat their customers like this.

As much as it hates me to write this review, I feel this may be the only way improvement is made. The Volvo of Richmond sales team is wonderful. The service department is awful. The difference in the sales experience and the service experience is jarring, I feel betrayed and victim to a bait and switch. My customer service experience with the service department is no where near the level of excellence the Volvo brand promises. Anytime you need to speak with the service department, expect to call 3+ times before speaking with someone. Expect to find out about service accommodations from other customers, or the sales team, but NOT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I was at Volvo for a major service that would have had me wait for 4+ hours. The service advisor did not inform me that I had the option to utilize a shuttle service that would take me home and pick me back up once the service was completed. I only found that out by the sales team and by an experienced Volvo of Richmond service customer who sat next to me. (What else are you not telling me?) He and I, along with another woman waiting for her car to be serviced, commiserated on our disappointing Volvo of Richmond service experiences. A customer recommended trying the Volvo Midlothian service center. I will take his advice and hope that the Volvo brand can regain my trust.

I received a phone call apologizing for the service recently. Volvo updated the appointment and was able to get me in a lot sooner, and the appointment went well. I'm happy they reached out, and I am really hoping things will continue to be improved going forward. The biggest thing is communication, so customers know what to expect and can plan accordingly. Hopefully, this continues for future appointments. Thank you for reaching out and making things right.I was debating selling my Volvo because of the terrible customer service received at other Volvo locations. Even the purchase experience was horrendous, where I purchased. I recently moved to Richmond and decided to try Volvo of Richmond. Shad has been there for me on multiple occasions. He is an amazing service representative. He has gone above and beyond. I can not say enough about his service. I have had 2 instances where I had to come in unplanned and he accommodated me and made sure every thing was good himself before returning the vehicle to me. Thank You! for being someone I can trust, and always being polite and professional. (Shad is no longer with the dealership).

My fianc� and myself had the incredible opportunity to speak with the front end sales department on 01/13/2024, and we fell in love with absolutely everything almost immediately. Everyone on site seemed not only happy, but extremely non-predatory in just about every way. Compared to almost every car buying experience my lady and myself have ever had, this one was all but the most extreme of opposites. Readily available snacks with Jennifer at the front making us feel warm and welcome. If I could remember to name every person by title, I would, but I met so many incredible people that I don't know if I COULD remember all of them if I tried. I learned of new books to check out, talked to other incredible clients on site, and my lady and myself fell in love with how this store was operated. Haley group not only seems to treat everyone like family, but almost like royalty. We had every single one of our fears abated, pictures and updates of the car we were shopping for, and even had the chance to help them secure another sale in the day! I felt not only invited, but like I could have held conversation with anyone on site for hours. The "two beers and a puppy" test was not only passed, but with aces across the board. I'd trust everyone there with said test, and I feel like I almost need to work on MY personality more after having visited these folks. Y'all need to stop by and talk to Steve/Wade and all the other incredible people. The entire sales crew from Saturday, January 13th deserves the HIGHEST of praises. Consider this a complimentary extra star, bringing us to a 6/5. Adam and the Volvo Richmond team are so great. I went in to sell a vehicle, and they ended up having exactly what I wanted to purchase. I love my xc40. The office smelled fantastic, it was clean, and all the employees were so helpful. Adam made sure everything went smoothly and was knowledgeable about the Volvo I was buying. I highly recommend stopping here before you make your next car purchase.

Had a terrible experience first Volvo of Richmond put a bad part on vehicle a master cylinder, brake going down to floor, they vehicle is ready waited to be replaced, nope had to come back a week later nothing done. Then told me a needed a ABS MODULE, this what was needed all the time, my miso was I paid thinking service was right, now they want more money, not happening, if I was a Caucasian man things I know would have been better. These people are out for money, no care or respect for customers. This is the worst.

Well here we go again. Last time we had our car in this location for work to be done, they kept it 3 months. The issue wasn't that they had it 3 months, It was the lack of communication reporting back to us what was going on and lack of information.Ok maybe a one off. New to the area and maybe not understanding the new place we are going to.Fast forward now 3 months. We leave a message to have our call brought in for service as the car is telling us it needs service. Volvo of Richmond is calling to have our car come in for service.We leave a message on Wednesday last week. SILENCE again....Really. how does this place function at all. I spoke to the GM last time and the he said it was a training issue. Well still waiting for a call back 5 days later.

We had a terrific experience at Volvo of Richmond. In the service department, Shad took great care of us and explained clearly all of the work that was done during a routine service check. We had purchased the car from some friends and did not understand many of the great features of the car. Wade very patiently spent a considerable amount of time helping me understand the many options and settings of the car and how they might best help us. It was a very positive experience.
