I don t have perfect credit so I m always scared to go to dealerships for car purchases but my experience was by far better than expected! My salesman Erik, did everything he could to get the deal done. And not only did he get the deal done, he got me a nice quality vehicle that I love!

My friend and I had an incredibly personalized car buying process. Shawn Franck went out of his way to work within our budget and find us a vehicle that checked off all of wants/needs. Shawn was transparent, honest and thoughtful throughout the process! A total gentleman. To top off the experience Travis, the financial coordinator, was able to obtain the best rate that perfectly fit in to our personalized payment budget. Can not thank VA Cars Inc. enough for the help and support. They actually managed to make the car buying process really pleasant. Thanks again!

My salesperson Dallas was a great help with the purchase of my truck. The whole team at Va cars were excellent to work with! I went in on Saturday and drove my truck home the same day I would recommend them to anyone. I had one issue come up on Monday call them and they took care of it right away I'm very happy with my purchasing and with Va cars for helping me

They looped me into buying a car when I specifically said that I wanted to lease. I was trapped in payments for 3 years and lost 10 grand. Cam, who test drove the car with me, threw trash out the window during the test drive. The car they gave me had the wrong sized spare tire. Try calling them? You'll be sent to voicemail. Wish I never walked in the building. Also notice how most of their replies to these bad reviews contain the word "fact". Another red flag

My husband and I just purchased a truck from VA Cars on Midlothian Turnpike. Our sales rep, Shaun Franck, was totally awesome! So helpful and took his time with us to make sure we got the exact vehicle to meet our needs. Everyone at this office, in fact, was just wonderful to work with. Could not be happier!!!

Crooks. They tell you just what you want to hear. If you take your car in for repairs, good luck. Service department is a joke. They don't have a mechanic qualified to change a bicycle tire.I took my car there for repairs, they called and asked me if I knew someone who could fix it. They will tell you the body shop is not connected to the car sales department. The service department is not connected to the sales department. So you can't have one communicate with the other. But they will tell you the same bunch of lies. Check out the car you are looking at, mine has been wrecked, and no one said anything about it. Doesn't show up on any Carfax. They said they would fix it, but the body shop said they didn't see anything wrong. But when I raised hell, they wrote me a check. So they knew. When I finally got my car back, I was missing parts, and it is still not right. The sales manager, cussed me out. He is the biggest liar of the bunch wou.I also went to the VA cars in Hopewell and talked to some people in the service department, customers.Who are not happy either. Having the same problems. I would not recommend going to any VA care. They're going to screw you if you need ANYTHING FROM THEM.CROOKS

Very friendly and professional experience with the VA Cars team in Midlothian. I needed a truck right away Ashleigh, Mel and Jonah helped find my vehicle options to test drive, quickly worked to improve my financing and took my trade-in for a great price!Buying any used vehicle right now is a challenge, but VA Cars really made it as smooth and easy as possible.

my experience i had today made feel like it was some profiling going on i went in on sat to inquire about a trade in on my car i was told they where going to do so, they asked for a title to a car i wasn't going to trade in which was odd so i asked questions to 3 different staff members and they all told me that if i didn't want to purchase the car i could come get my title back with no hassle. today i went in to explain to them i didn't want to purchase the car anymore because i still was going to be legally tied to the other contract. Camren the sales rep gets up to get Johnas the owner he comes over very rudely TELLING me that the other car dealership wasn't going to give a car loan and that i should just let my car get repossessed because my credit was bad and purchase from them (VA CARS) I DID NOT LIKE THIS FEELING I DID NOT LIKE HOW I WAS BEING TALKED TO I FELT BELITTLED, WHAT hurt the most is that Cameren the BLACK man walked away and allowed the white man to talk to me this way. FOR THIS REASON I WENT TO A BLACK OWNED DEALERSHIP AND WAS NOT TREATED NOTHING LIKE THIS AND IF I HAD IT MY WAY THEY WOULDNT RECEIVE NOT 1 STAR.

Paid for car on a friday..git insurance on it monday..Went to pick up the car Monday had no gas in it and no inspection sticker..had to come back the next day. Was told didn't need check stubs then near the end was told I did.lack of knowledge

I would've given 1 star but my sales rep was/is AWESOME so the 2 stars are for him and him ONLY (he deserves 5). The 0 stars would've been for the service I received after my purchase. I purchased a 2 yr old veh on 7/15/23 - by that Monday 7/17 my check engine light was on. I called to make an appt, nothing available for people who work 9-5 except to drop off your car and figure everything else out without transportation while they work on your vehicle that you JUST purchased. SMH. Took off work on 7/24 for my appt to get the check engine light serviced, my bumper latch fixed & my glove compartment that was very loose. The same day I was called by one of the managers stating that if I dont complete my bank interview they may rescind my car loan. But the bank stated to ensure the car is to my liking first. The only issue I had that was really bothering me was the check engine light. At the appt I was advised that a part needed to be ordered for my bumper and glove compartment. As far as the check engine light, it was an old code that they removed. So at that time I called the bank and completed my interview. As of 7/28 I called to check status of the parts that were ordered only to find out they were NEVER ordered and the person who has to order them is on vacation for the next week until 8/4 but may be able to get someone to order them as soon as 8/2. So on 8/2 I planned on calling about the parts, only to head to work and my check engine light came on again. I called when they opened and advised them the check engine light was on AGAIN and to follow up on my parts. The lady advised me that she spoke with someone who wasnt sure WHAT parts to order because they dont remember which side had the loose piece on the bumper and didnt know exactly what was wrong with the glove compartment although I was advised a week before that the glove compartment piece was broke & they "apparently took notes" about all of this. I reached out to my sales rep, he immediately got on top of things and confirmed with me that he was getting my parts ordered right away and would stay on top of the check engine light issue. Which of course I have to ride around for another week with my light on because the only times they can assist you and honor the "LOYALTY PROGRAM" is if you take off work/lose time from work to be there if you're a working individual who works from 9-5 as they dont service anything except oil changes on weekends. Here we are 8/3/2023, my check engine light is still on and I'm waiting for my appt on 8/9 so hopefully my parts will be in by then so this can all be taken care of AT ONE TIME. It bothers me that I was forced to complete my bank interview knowing the check engine light code issue still remained, they only cleared it long enough for me to believe the problem was resolved. SMH. Not to mention my first car payment is approaching fast.S/O to Brock for being helpful through-out this ENTIRE process!!!!!!!! I really thought this was going to be the best car buying experience I've ever had.... and the buying part was, its the having to trust that they will fulfill their LOYALTY PROGRAM PROMISE that I'm not so happy about. I hope this all gets resolved soon. I just wanted to enjoy my new car.******UPDATE... 3 MONTHS LATER... 10/13/2023 ***** --- I'm still having the same check engine light issues and have been lied to quite a few times by the service department. Preferably ZOEY who stated the sales dept. denied fixing my repair because of the length of time I've had the car, omitting to the sales department that its been misdiagnosed TWICE by the service dept since July for this same check engine light. I made a call myself in hopes to get this resolved & JONAH WAS A GREAT HELP!!! Hopefully this will all be over soon so I can actually enjoy the vehicle I purchased 3 months ago. Smh. (Decrease rating to 1 star... I wish I could give 0)

If I could leave no stars I would I got a car from them last year first they loose my paper work, then I was told because the car I got was not detailed they would do it any day I've called so many time in a year. Plus the car I got I was told id get a new steering wheel because the one I have was all ripped up yet to hear anything back and its been a year so that is why I'm just now posting my review. They loose my paper work and i was still having to pay for a car they had already sold because they took 3 months to find my paper work and my finance didn't get the check until 3 months late they lost the payoff quote.

The guys Keith and Dan at VA Cars in Chester, VA were great. They were not pushy salesmen. They were pleasant patient and did not try to take advantage of me and my son.That was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. Wasn't overly thrilled with the overall experience. They gave us a fob with a dying battery and when they replaced it for us they gave us ANOTHER dying battery.There were some minor tears in the upholstery that they said they would fix when we bought the car. They were also going to give us a second key fob. They said to come by at a certain time and the guy who was supposed to fix the tear wasn't there nor was the key maker because our salesman never told them we were coming so I had to make another trip there to get it fixed.When we bought the car we wanted to transfer the plates over so we wouldn't have to dispose of them or anything and they forgot to do that.When we were signing the paperwork we found multiple errors before signing which shows poor communication between the salesmen and the managers.The overall customer service was pretty good and their engine and transmission warranty is pretty good if you get your oil changes there. That was a major selling point for us.

I had one of the greatest experiences ever at Va Cars on 7494 West Broad Street. Kenny Winston and Chauncey Gray were fabulous. They were able to help my daughter and I purchase the exact same car. They both made our process really smooth. The were able to make my daughter's first time purchasing a car easy as well. We both walked out with smiles on our faces. Great Customer Satifaction.

I had a great experience purchasing my car from them. The sales team and the GM were very friendly and helpful in getting me into my first new car. HOWEVER the service department is where my issue is. My transmission went out in my (no biggy warranty covered it) they told me they were going to get me into a loaner vehicle well 3 weeks went by and I never got a single call about getting the rental so I could get my car in there, every time I called I had to leave my name and number so they could call me back but never did. Finally a tow truck came and got the car and no we are on week 5 and I still don t have my car or a loaner vehicle. Now they are saying it s going to be another week!!!! This experience with the service department is making it where I won t buy from here again.

We loved our experience at VA Cars in Hopewell, VA! Fernando literally put in so much work to not only get us the car that would save me on gas but had low miles and a payment I could handle. Everyone there was polite and upbeat. I would go back again for sure!
