S&S Body did a great job in replacing the bumper and additional parts on my Chevy Equinox from an accident in MD. The staff were very courteous and professional in explaining to me how the process worked with my insurance co and rental car.I highly recommend S&S for any body work needed on your car!

Not too pleased. Everybody knows you can't order a complete new headlight for C6 Corvette. ( Just google it, part is gone). Yet the guy says, he won't replace only the lens, which the whole internet is doing (100 videos on YT). Would have been 1 hour job worth hundreds, all massive profit no painting or even skill required, could give it to a 14 year old to do, but says no-go on replacing just a lens.

My vehicle was involved in a collision earlier this year and needed some body work on the front passenger bumper and fender area. S&S is a preferred service provider with my insurance, so I went to visit them for a quote, as I knew whatever repairs they deemed necessary would be covered by my insurance, and was hoping to support a local business as opposed to a large chain like Caliber Collision.I had previously been to a different body shop to get a quote, as I was trying to get a few estimates, but S&S blew them away with their professionalism and courtesy. The owner is a true professional - not only was he able to immediately identify that the cause of the accident was an animal strike (due to the tiniest hair caught in the fender! Sherlock Holmes!), but he was also able to help me navigate what that would mean for me in terms of submitting an insurance claim (it was a not-at-fault accident in Virginia and so wouldn't raise my premium.) He helped put me at ease during what was a decently stressful situation for me.Carrie was also very pleasant to work with through the process - I appreciated her humor and patience as I called her back for the umpteenth time with an additional question.When I went to pick up my car, it looked as if it had never been damaged - it was beautiful! The repair was also done a day early, which added to my happiness. While I hope to not need their services again anytime soon, I know that if I end up needing body repair, I will go back to S&S in a heartbeat. Thank you!Service: Body & Trim

I d give them ten stars if I could. My daughter, a VCU pharmacy student, has been involved in two accidents in the last six months, neither of which were her fault. I live in Southwest Virginia and reached out to my Richmond friends to recommend a local body shop that could handle these unexpected turn of terrible events. Aforementioned friends recommended S&S Auto Body Shop best advice ever.S&S went above and beyond in every way. They remembered us from the first incident and bent over backwards to accommodate us during the second incident. They were unbelievably timely with their estimate of repairs. They were willing to think outside of the box and make special arrangements to make sure our daughter s car was drivable, so she could come home to her family for Easter. The owner personally called me and said that many people in the shop also had daughters and he wanted to help make sure that mine was taken care of. Are you kidding me?! Where else would you possibly receive that kind of genuine service?If you re having car issues run, don t walk, (because you obviously can t drive ) to S&S Auto Body Shop. They re way beyond the best in the business.

I have used S&S before and have been super impressed every time. I called them first thing this morning (the day before a major holiday) and not only were they able to assess my car today but they also were able to get a needed part and repair my car before the end of the day! They quoted me one price but were able to find a better price for the part so my bill was $100 less than quoted. They are trustworthy and conscientious. I highly recommend S&S and will continue to use them for all of my car needs!!Service: Transmission

S&S did fine work on my Lexus. Along with a bumper replacement, I needed a rather large dent a quarter panel. They took the time to have an outside dent repair technician evaluate and repair the damage to panel instead of repairing and painting the panel themselves that ultimately saved me hundreds of dollars. I recommend you have them as your go to body shop.RickService: Body & Trim

Great body repair shop. I ve had my car worked on 5 times throughout the past 10 years and I ve had zero issues with this company. They are very courteous and professional. They get the work done correctly and do not cut corners. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Great service from start to finish. Sanjay was great to work with at the initial estimate - I appreciate his honesty and genuine care for fixing my car right.Since it was a small job - fixing some small dents on the rocker and replacing plastic side skirt, the shop got me an appointment in a week, and it took 2.5 days for my car to be ready for pickup. Car was super clean when picked up, no dust or grease. If I need body work again, I would return here.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I got into an accident 7 hours away from home and the car was nor driveable. I couldn't find a shop, and I really wanted to use someone local. I stumbled upon this shop, and they were very communicative with everything they were doing, they let me know every step of the way what was happening,. and Carrie was AAA+++. It was nice to know being so far away my car was in good hands.Service: Body & Trim

Went in to get an estimate in March, never recived one and it is now the end of May. When I asked if they could use some parts I had bought earlier, the Indian guy estimator was extremely rude and had an attitude. He told me "you can't bring a burger to McDonald's and get them to cook it" in a condescending way. Worst estimator I've ever dealt with, do NOT bring your cars here

I was out of town when my car was hit from behind. S&S auto body did an incredible job at repairing my truck. They went above and beyond to ensure my truck was back to showroom quality. The staff was extremely professional, they explained everything in detail and stayed in contact with me to provide updates. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for an excellent auto repair shop. ** 1 day after getting my car back it started smoking and broke down.*20 min after posting this review the owner called to lecture me and tell me to take it down.My car has been there for 5 weeks and I don t know when I m getting it back. Granted a lot of the problems have been with Geico, however, for the past 3 weeks S&S has extended the finish date at least 5 times. Saying it will be done on a certain day. They never call me, I always have to call them on the day they say it will be done. It s once again 4 pm on the day they said it would be done and I haven t heard anything. Every time it s a new problem I was never told about.

I had 3 pieces of trim falling off my old car. I took it in asked for an estimate to fix it well enough to hold together for the year or so I plan to keep the car. I was paying myself and wanted something better than duct tape but not "good as new". Would you believe the guy put down his clipboard, got out a wrench and screw driver, fixed it and didn't charge me? Instead of money, they get a 5-star review and a customer for life.Service: Body & Trim

I had a couple brackets pop off on my wheel well trim and the body shop replaced them in 5 minutes, free of charge. Other places would have charged hundreds to replace the trim, but they seem like honest good people. Will go back if / when I ever have a bigger problem.

My bumper and grill broke when hit a truck bumper. My airbags didn't deploy. Thought it was a three day fix but when S & S took off bumper and grill I had electrical damage to my hybrid car. They got my car to Hyundai for electrical work and as my inspection was due, had it inspected by nearby mechanic. They were good about letting me know how repair was proceeding. If you need a reliable body shop use S & S.

These guys did such a good job with not only fixing my car but they cleaned it also!! I don t even think it was this clean when I bought it. Will be using them in the future

I have no complaints about the workmanship or their pricing. My issue is with their customer service. I went to pickup my car today and there was someone in the office talking to the guy who worked in the office. I waited patiently as it appeared to be a customer. I stood there as they engaged in their conversation which drifted into Covid being something that will go away after the election and that he wasn t wearing a mask and didn t mind touching his desk and then his face. He continued for 15 minutes or so talking to the customer or friend (not sure which) about politics and conspiracy theories while I waited with my mask on and a container of Clorox wipes in my hand so I could wipe down my car after they had been in it. He had no idea whether I could be immune compromised or even had the virus as to him it was all a hoax.If you take your car there, make sure to take the proper precautions to ensure your safety since they are not.I thought it was very rude of him to be discussing politics in a place of business when customers are there. Very bad for business.

Best place to take your vehicle for repair. I had a full front end repair done quickly. They kept me updated on the progress and the office was very informative with the process. We went to S&S to have a rear quarter panel replaced. Afterward we noticed water intrusion, especially after heavy rains. We spent over 1,600 diagnosing, repairing, and remediating wet carpet and mold, only to discover a drainage tube inside the quarter panel had not been connected during the installation. S&S has refused to accept responsibility for their error and will not contribute to the cost of remediating the resulting damage.

Mr. LapkinFirst I would like to say we are sorry for your inconvenience.Your car was in our shop for repair January 3, 2017. Based on the receipt presented to us MAY 8, 2017 by you which was from Leete Tire states that the drainage tubes were clogged by debris and you stated you believe the windows were left down for a couple of days while raining. This is why we do not feel like we are responsible to cover the bill you presented.Thanks, Management.
