On May 19th 2023 I spoke to the car salesman At Richmond Ford. He told me that he'd found me a car. We talked and agreed to meet on the morning of the 20th. When I arrived I had been told about one car but when I got there there was another car. 2015 Ford Focus Hatchback! I was not really crazy about it but I was working 2 jobs and Uber was getting too expensive. When we were all done and the car had been so called properly serviced, I drove it home and went to work that night.About 4 months passed. Mind you, I had a new inspection sticker and EVERYTHING was supposed to have been checked out and fixed! On the way home from work one night, my relief was super late and I was tired I took a short cut through a terrible neighborhood. 3am on a Thursday morning. I stop at the stop sign and the car shuts down. I sit there about 30 minutes scared to death after trying 3 times in 10 minutes intervals as not to flood it because I didn't know what was wrong and the tank was full. I'd only had it 4 months.So I finally got home cried about my fears and went to sleep. Next day I called in to take my car in. They told me to bring it in around 10. I did that! They even gave me transport back home and back to the company to pick up my car.However, when I arrived to pick it up they gave me this print out. Every thing up there was things that were supposed to have been done before they sold it to me. Everything they gave me was simple inspection things that should've been done before I left with it, windshield wipers, tires and a purge valve. So I did my research and found that it takes at least 2 to 3 years for a purge valve to act up. I was told by a certified mechanic that they should've replaced it before they sold the car. MICHAEL SERPIDO is the manager at this fine establishment but he said he couldn't help me.So I'm a old black female, surviving cancer, on social security and working trying to make it and NOT trying to get welfare and all you can see me as is a get over and sell me abfailure. I'm struggling out here trying to make ridiculous car payments and car insurance that covers a car that puts me down any time and a sorry company that wants to charge me close to 700.00 to fix something after having the car 4 months. I'm telling you if you're a female, old, black and working people try to get over because they think all those years you've lived they can still play you for a fool but I I'm going to see a lawyer!

Today I had a poor experience with Richmond Ford Lincoln. I had an appointment @ 1030 with the service department to get a state inspection and to have all of the recalls taken care of on my 2021 F-250. When I arrived I checked in with the Service Desk and they told me it would be about 2 hours. I said not a problem and let them know that I would be waiting on it. Well 2 hours go by and I figure it must be taking longer due to the 2 recalls that needed to be fixed. Or maybe they were washing it for me or something . At 1:50pm I still hadn t received an update. So I went and asked the lady at the service desk if my truck was ready. She said it was almost done and they were just finishing up the paperwork. At 2:00pm the service advisor brings out my keys and paperwork to me. I asked him if they were able to complete the 2 recalls and he rudely replied that there weren t any recalls on the truck. At this point I didn t want to deal with showing him that there were in fact 2 recalls on the vehicle so I went out to the truck. My truck had not been washed or vacuumed. All of the trash from the floor mat and seat protectors were left crumpled on the floor. All of my personal items that I left on my passenger seat had been moved to the floor. So I was not happy after waiting for 3 and a half hours just for a state inspection to be completed. It was a total waste of my time. I will not be returning to Richmond Ford in the future.

I have a Lincoln so i only take it to the dealer. With this locarion its ALWAYS an issue. My car is tgere now im give them this last chance before i share EVERY bad EXP�RIENCE ive had here

Alan was helpful, courteous and made me feel like my business was appreciated. It takes a knowledgeable employee to explain complex issues in a way that even I could understand. Service was very friendly but was told AFTER I dropped off my car that they won't even get to my car until they finished their very long backlog. Why would you not delay my appointment to drop off my car if you knew you could not get to it until late in the week if even? Stop wasting peoples time

Customer service = EXCELLENT. We happened upon this service station after a terrifying near miss on the Interstate left us with no brakes! We rolled in after seven miles of stoplights, may I repeat no brakes, in our SUV. Their first words to us were that they were booked out months! We were in the middle of a road trip so three hours from home and three hours to our destination. The super helpful folks figured a way to squeeze us in over a weekend, help us find a rental car, and we were on the road before two hours lapsed. They called us throughout the weekend to give us progress and by Monday our trip back was rewarded with our SUV fixed. I see the comments, this may not be the cheapest way to go, but for knowledge of their services, vehicles and unsurpassed customer service............ you can't get better than Corey Dahl, Brenda and their folks.Services: Auto brake repair, Auto maintenance

I was charged $1000 for an oil change. Long story short: I had an issue with stalling, I took it to Richmond Ford, based on a flow diagram (there were no codes set) they diagnosed the problem as the throttle body. Charged $800 to replace the throttle body. Still had the problem. Took the truck back, they checked the oil and it was very low. (By the way, the Ford oil pan drain plug is 1-time use. If it isn't installed correctly it can leak. This is a known problem and has happened to us before.) They changed the oil and oil filter and charged $150 for checking the oil ("diagnosing stalling"). What a scam. Ultimately they changed the oil for $1000. We still don't know if the problem was solved. Never going back.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Above and beyond experience want to personally thank jeff in service has had my back threw this mess with my carChris the manager for not backing down from my challenges I gave them and aftermarket for fixing my audio issues and mike for going above and beyond wish more general managers where like him set the bar high thank you all at Richmond ford

On 3/9/2021 I arrived at 10:17 am for my scheduled appointment for my courtesy state inspection. My truck only has 9000 miles on it. I expected to be done in less than an hour. At 12:05. I went to the service area and asked about my truck. The service adviser said let me check on it. He returned and said its ready and apologized for my wait. The time was now 12:20 pm. I'm not sure how much longer I would have had to sit in the waiting room had I not went to check. This was an unexplained and unacceptable experience. I will go to the original Richmond Ford for any service in the future.Jerry Parsons

Carmen's service was exceptional with my two vehicles that were in for service last week. Things didn't quite go as planned with the first vehicle, but Carmen was quick to pick up the phone and let me know that the promised time was not going to be met- no problem....communication is everything. On Friday she called me after I didn't make it by to pick up my truck when I said I would (on Thursday afternoon). She just wanted to check and make sure everything was okay.I will ask for Carmen by name going forward when taking care of my vehicles.Services: Engine repair, Battery

I took my 2018 F-150 in on 1/29/21 for services including oil change, tire rotation, check engine light diagnostic, and state inspection. I was happy that the check engine light issue was covered under warranty. I was upset that I arrived to pick up my vehicle and noticed that the new state inspection sticker had not been put on there despite the old one being scraped off and my invoice showed the inspection was completed. I was able to speak with the manager Chris when picking up my vehicle. I was beyond frustrated at this mishap as my inspection expires this month and I live across town. Chris worked hard to resolve the issue. He had my truck picked up from my home in Midlothian this morning, took it to the dealership, finished the state inspection, and returned back to my home WITH a full tank of gas which was an unexpected bonus I did not request. I commend Chris, Kent, and his team for rectifying my original concern timely and professionally.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change
