My go to shop for all vehicle repairs. They fixed my Land Cruiser this year and my Blazer in 2019.They always charge less than expected and get work done faster than estimated.Thanks guys!

I brought my car in for an oil change and they failed to properly secure the cap on my engine oil pan. This caused me to leak oil for a while before I realized what the problem was and took my car somewhere with more competent mechanics. I will not be returning to this garage, and I always tell friends and family to steer clear of it.

We have found our garage! Honest mechanics, clear communication and no pressure to get stuff you don t need yet. The location is great and they are always friendly and helpful.

Very friendly group of staff and mechanics, fixed my car quicker than expected for a price that was much better than I was planning for. Definitely going to return here for further fixes

Yet another auto shop that charges ridiculously high prices for labor and price gouges the customer. Drove away and my car was doing the very same problem now $2,300 later. Called back they said it was fine. Took it to an alignment shop they told me it needed the same part but on the opposite side. That fixed my car and their labor price was much better, and they were also fast.Service: Auto maintenance

Efficient, friendly, and affordable. Dropped off my car Friday morning for inspection and got a call back before lunch. Also gave notes on what i need to keep an eye on for my next visit.Plus the pugs were very sweet and friendly.

Paradise is a great shop to bring your car too. I can typically figure out what is wrong with my car myself and then shop for the parts before bringing it to them. You can say "i think X is wrong with my vehicle, i have the part here...could you please install it?" and then they get it back to you super fast! I've done that the past two times I've had trouble with my vehicle and just don't have the space or tools required for the job. The service is always fair and the people are always friendly, also they have a really cute little shop dog that snorts and grunts a lot so that's a huge plus.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I needed to find a local garage to repair my vehicle and asked around for recommendations. Paradise came HIGHLY recommended by a neighbor who had been going there for two decades. They were able to fix it the next day as well as give me an oil change and inspection. On the way to pick up my car, my Uber driver also said that this is the best garage in town. They also support local arts and music. My bill was much lower than I was expecting, which is rare in my experience. I will be coming back for any and all issues with my vehicle in the future.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Paradise Garage is a shop I ve really come to appreciate. On multiple occasions, when other shops couldn t, Paradise Garage was able to squeeze in an oil change last minute. Even when they were very busy for the day, they made it a point to help me out and got my cars oil changed as quickly as possible. Not only have they been willing to help out last minute, but they were also professional and friendly. Based on the few experiences I ve had with them, I ll definitely be bringing my car back here for any other repairs or services needed.Service: Oil change

Literally the only place I will ever bring my car. They work quickly. They don't try to upsell you on anything. They give you options when big decisions have to be made. Prices are fantastic.

Took a 2013 hybrid there for a brake sensor issue that was intermittent. They cleared the code and charged me a $65 diag fee. I talked to the tech and told him it was intermittent. Nothing further done. About 3 months later it became a constant DTC. Took it back to paradise and they said they didn t work on hybrids . Well, they do enough to charge me for a diag fee for doing nothing. Avoid.

This is the garage that you'll go to for life. They don't nickel and dime and they always have your best interests at heart. It's locally owned and all the employees are friendly, neighborly folks. The best garage in the city for sure

Chill, honest, and very reasonably priced.Very knowledgeable and professional as well.They let you use your own pieces you bring in too!Only got charged $150 for an alternator repair, bringing my own in. Other shops were straight up refusing to use my part and trying to charge me between 300-400Definitely gonna be my Go-To shop!

My daughter uses this garage. I dropped off her Jeep for a state inspection. The guy on the phone was super nice. They did a great job. Really cool shop! Old gas station signs hanging on the walls. Place is tucked away in the alley like it's been there for a hundred years. Just classic RVA

I wanted to update my review because Paradise Garage just saved me almost $900 in costs for repairs fraudulently required by a consignment dealer when I put my car up for sale. I wound up spending $250 with Paradise Garage instead of $1100 with the dealer's mechanic.Paradise Garage has been my go-to auto mechanic for more than 10 years and I've never had a bad experience. When I visit there I have confidence that I'll be treated fairly and honestly, and that they'll explain every item in the estimate before doing the work and charging me. Customer experience is exceptional...my ac went out suddenly on a 90 degree day, not only did I get a ride home while repairs were being done, they notified me of a few other issues and fixed them too! Had my state inspection done here, they were really nice and honest. Never tried to upsell me anything, NTB always tries to sell you new tires even when you're still comfortably passing the standard, but these guys don't.I've heard a lot of good things about this place so I had them do my inspection, many places find random things wrong with your car that may or may not need fixing, but Paradise seems to be straightforward.

I love this place, I can't say enough about it. It's been difficult to find a good, honest garage to take my car to that isn't ridiculously expensive and this place is all of those things. I've been coming here for two years, they never over charge me, never ask me to fix something that isn't wrong with my car, and are always friendly and the turnaround is good. They also get a ton of business because of this, which is proof that being dependable and honest and caring about your customers instead of preying on them is an excellent business practice.

My insurance towed and dropped off my car after a flat tire because this place was the closest to me. Turns out they don t do tires. But they still filled the air for me and checked that my tires were all good! I was looking for a good place to do my car maintenance so I ll probably return here from now on. Thank you again!!!!

Paradise Garage is EXCELLENT!!!! I have been bringing my Jeep there for the past 2-3 years and I am always impressed with their professionalism and speed. Not only are the mechanics honest and fair, but their prices are reasonable and they call you before they do anything to make sure that you approve.Point blank.... I HIGHLY recommend this garage!!!!

I love this Garage. They have always given me great service at a cost well below what I heard from other garages. This is my now the only garage I use in Richmond.The've also been surprisingly fast despite the fact that they always seem super busy.Also I read the 1 star review and frankly I'm willing to bet $100 that they offered to not charge that customer. I can understand that customer's surprise but even the price she quoted seems ridiculously low and they probably saved her from a $200 ticket.

I was looking for a new mechanic/garage. The reviews were really good for this shop so I decided to try them and I'm glad I did. Very happy with everything and from now on my car will go to them.

I love Paradise Garage. I went here for an oil change and an inspection. First of all, my oil change was nice and cheap - $20. Soon after my inspection, my car was broken into and someone stole my inspection sticker (weird, I know). I called Paradise and asked if they would give me a new sticker. They asked me to bring it in, and gave me a new sticker, no charge. Really great work and fantastic prices. I called recently because I had a flat tire and even though they don't do tire work, they called me back and gave me the number to an awesome used tire shop - Vonderlehr. Highly recommend! They will not swindle you.

Excellent service! I had a tune up, transmission fluid change and a bolt replacement on my wheel hub assembly. They did a fantastic job! Friendly staff. Prompt service.

I've been bringing my car and my wife's truck to Greg at Paradise Garage for 5 or 6 years for oil changes, inspections and general work and have always had a good experience. They re older vehicles but Greg keeps them running for us! Paradise know their stuff, they don't overcharge, and they don't try to press any phony repairs on you that aren't necessary.I recently had a major transmission issue in my WRX and they did good work and charged me a very reasonable price. Additionally, Greg went to great lengths to ensure that I got what I paid for even when the first used transmission he found wasn t up to par. When I look for a mechanic, I don t want the guy who feels like he has to call me after an inspection before putting in a brake light, I want a mechanic working on my car who takes pride in the quality of his work and is going to treat me right when it really matters.
