I needed a State inspection for my ancient car.First of all, I passed!!!Secondly, Don was incredibly helpful in explaining issues that will need attention in the upcoming year.The experience was more than great and I look forward to continuing to take my car to Midas/Willow Lawn.

I have taken both my vehicles there for state inspections. They are polite and not pushy. They quoted me $126 for windshield wipers! On Rockauto, the same exact ones cost $26 total with shipping.

Scheduled an oil change and alignment here. Appointment was for the early morning and they didn't get to my car until almost closing time. I drove my car home and car was pulling severely to the right so brought it to another shop to get fixed - other shop showed how messed up the alignment was with their printouts. Car felt way better after other shop fixed it.About 500miles after my oil change, the oil level warning came up, oil was really low and I had to top it off since they didnt put enough oil in. Will just take my car somewhere else instead of bringing it back to Midas.

I absolutely love Midas! I just moved to richmond and was looking for somewhere to get my car inspected, luckily I came across Midas on W Broad. Don and Ebony helped me out a lot and were super kind. I don t understand much about cars lol, but Don walked me through everything and explained what needed to be done and how he would go about it. Truly such a kind and informative environment, will definitely be returning while I live in richmond!!!

My window got stuck then decided too come up on the outside of my car,had my car a few days but gave me the midas car too drive very expensive too fix $725 ouch but my safety,car safety most important too me lady at desk very nice owner was too it works great

Manger Carlos Hernandez, is very knowledgeable able automotive care, friendly and professional. He takes time to explain the work you need done to your vehicle and give you an estimate price before the work is completed. He is always willing to answer any questions you may have about your vehicle repair. Carlos, greets his customer with a warm greetings and a smile. I was so impressed with the customer service here! One gentleman went out of his way to talk to my dad over speakerphone to help us understand what was going with my car. Prices are reasonable, the staff was very friendly and seemed very honest - not pushy at all. They've won me over from NTB! They are too expensive. Put a huge quote to fix very small thingswhile doing state inspections. Please ignore them if they charge lot of money to fix small things to qualify for inspection.

They didn't shut my hood all the way before I picked up my truck. I didn't notice it was still open until the next day, while it was bouncing on the highway. The slight front end damage is somehow much worse now after my courtesy check . This comes after my last visit, when old detached wiper blades were left atop my windshield, which I also didn t notice until I was on the highway and they were rattling around. Needless to say I will not be bringing my vehicle to Midas anymore, nor will I recommend this location to anyone. I'm not the type to complain about service, but this is very serious to meService: Oil change

Tuesday 6/6/2023 I had my two back tires replaced. It is now Sunday 6/11/2023 and I have had to put air in my back driver tire everyday since.Livid is an understatement. I had the tires replaced due to a slow leak. And, the replacement is now doing the same exact thing that I paid to resolve

I recently had my car inspected here and I only have nice things to say. It was a very timely service and everyone I spoke with was very kind. Keke did a great job with the service. Hannah and Julie wowed me as well! Hannah was managing phones and doing a superb job handling (what sounded like) sticky situations while continuing to be super professional and courteous. Julie was kind and knowledgeable as well. Everything felt well managed and I was very happy after the short hour I spent in the lobby.

Arrived here and thought I ll do the state inspection and oil change at the same time. Told that one wiper blade needs a replacement and was quoted abt $ 37. Replaced by myself for $10 Also found out that oil change doesn t include windshield washer fluid. Which is kind of new to me. Haven t run into similar situation in 15+ years.Staff isn t helpful either.Guess I should ve waited for a better place to service my car.Perhaps my last visit.

Scheduled an appointment 24hrs in advance just for them to tell me I wasn't on the schedule and would have to wait a few hours.I went in to get my battery and brakes checked and they told me they didn't find anything wrong even though there were clearly issues. Then they tried to tell me I would need $3,000 in repairs on parts they even said were in good condition, and if I didn't get that done I would have to get my car towed home.I ended up paying $300 for services I never needed, found several scratches on my rims, and was told to "wait until it gets worse" to test my battery again.This was my first experience with Midas and I do not plan on coming back. I do not recommend.Services: Brakes, Battery

They don't set the same time and mileage on the window sticker for synthetic oil as the car manufacturer does. I think I'll stick to the dealer from here on out. The dealer is cheaper too and that was even when I used a Midas coupon for $20 off synthetic oil change.

I came in for a oil change from a voucher a friend gave me. It s my work truck i normally keep up with it. Carlos informed me of a small brake fluid leak that I missed. He was very helpful and very informative. On top of great customer service they did it in a timely manner. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend to anyone !Services: Brakes, Oil change

Carlos is pretty cool. He priced && ordered my tires && they came in the same day.. They put my tires on && did a wheel alignment.. changed my oil.. he sent me to a guy that could do my windshield at a unbeatable price. They got me in && out for my oil change as well.. I had a great experience. The guys sharp and friendly. My muffler/exhaust issue was diagnosed and resolved with a $1300 savings. Lexus of Richmond had priced the repair at twice the price Midas charged. Greta work at a fair price by guys that collect food for the homeless while they work. Best spot in the city.

Fantastic service! Car was ready in two days, very fair pricing and everything was upfront. No surprise charges or extra fees. Gave me a loaner car, free of charge. The gentleman Paul was very courteous; kept us posted, and seemed to generally care about my car and my experience. Highly recommend!

Brought my truck in for an oil change and state inspection. The day after I got my truck back the oil warning light started going off. I brought my vehicle back to Midas at Short Pump andvthey said they would charge my $158 to do a diagnostic to find out why the warning light kept going on.I never had a problem with the warning light until Midas did the oil change and now they want to charge me $158 to figure out what they did to my truck. Just amazing.Service: Oil change

After being quoted $600 for routine maintenance from my dealership, I brought my car here for a second opinion. I set up an appointment that fit my schedule, and the day I went they were able to start on my car right away. They looked at everything the dealership said I needed, and it turns out they found nothing wrong. They were honest with me, which now makes me a loyal customer. I highly recommend them!

Dropped my car off for a very last-minute oil change before a long trip and they were very accommodating. They sent a report of everything checked and did suggest some additional replacements which I declined for the time being. This is the first auto shop that has not tried to aggressively push additional repairs on me after I declined, which I greatly appreciated. Very friendly staff and overall a great experience!

Any bad reviews you see here might have been from several years ago. Ever since I started taking my car to Midas, Sarah (I LOVE HER!) and Bruce have been very professional and of course, friendly in letting me know what needs to be done and so forth. Unlike other places where they try to get you to spend on things you don't need, this location tells you as it is. Bruce and Sarah run a very honest business over there and I'll definitely recommend it to anyone that needs some work done on their car.I had to spend a few extra bucks on new rotors and brake pads during one visit. After I told Sarah I couldn't afford it, she advised me that it needed to be done ASAP in order for me not to spend even more in the future. She told me about a credit card I could apply for and use toward the cost of replacing these items. I got approved right there and got the work done. Good news is that the credit card was interest free for 6 months so I ended up paying it off without interest.These people really do care about their customers and so I urge everyone to try them. I hope this review helped someone!

I have been going here for years. Honest people and friendly. Very detailed about telling me issues with my vehicle and offers recommendations what should be done but do not pressure me on having to get it done at there shop. Time frame of getting my car repaired or inspected is reasonable.
