The representative that helped me out at the counter, and also did my oil change was outstanding. I understand that the manager had quit and so the staff was trying to juggle without the normal manpower. Unfortunately, I did not get his name but have to give him a big thank you.

The woman manager was rude and disrespectful. I was told my vehicle would be ready in an hour and it took almost three. It would have been more understandable if anyone had communicated the delays. However, when I asked for a status I was just yelled at by the woman. Never was there an apology for the delay.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Service was ok but the cost was not. Since my car s battery was dead and needed a jump if the engine was turned off, I was anxious to find a replacement. Since I did not have the option to drive around for quotes, I took one nearby. I believe the bill at Jiffy s of $335.00 was very steep. I had just come from a nearby O Reilly Auto Parts where their price was $200.00. However, they could not find the correct tools to install. I believe your price was on the verge of being price gouging! I will never return for any of your other offered services!!Service: Battery

I went in for a simple oil change. They made some sort of mistake that was vaguely explained to me, and I was told that they would replace my transmission fluid for free so to the mistake. They changed the oil and an air filter. Then they had me turn on my car- oil flew up everywhere under the hood. So I got out and they did whatever else they needed to do. I was there for 3 hours. They gave me a $30 discount for my trouble, but once I started driving a ways, my car started making noise and smelled terrible.I drove 20 minutes, and my car made strange noises, and the oil light came on. My friend who is a mechanic found that they put TWO gaskets instead of one, so in 20 minutes ALL 5 PINTS OF MY BRAND NEW OIL LEAKED OUT ALL AROUND AND OVER EVERYTHING UNDER MY HOOD. Completely soaked, not to mention it could have BLOWN MY ENGINE. I bought a whole new 5 pints of oil just to get home.Once I'm off work, I'm returning to them and expect them to make it right, not to mention properly degrease and clean under my hood. MY FIRST AND LAST TIME GOING TO JIFFY LUBE.UPDATE from 2 weeks later: I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY REFUND!!! This company is a scam. I have called multiple times, emailed, etc. You can almost never reach a person or any form of proper help. I'm sure they will just skid me along with no response until I give up. This is incredible!3 WEEKS LATER- no refund yet. Haven t been able to speak to another person. Seriously you can t make this stuff up.

Had the company truck taken there for an oil change. During the course of the work they said the brakes needed to be done. That they had to be replace all the way around and it would cost 1200.00. They said it needed brakes and rotors, this was a package deal price and that is how they did it. I told my guys to just get the oil change and I would do the work on the truck at home. I have included photos. So after pulling the tires off and looking you can clearly see the difference in the new and old pads. There was no need for brakes to be done and there was no scoring on the rotors. Since I had take the caliper off already( as I was going to do the work based on what they said) I went ahead and changed the pads. This seemed like some sort of money grab or bonus for upselling a brake job that didn't need to happen in the first place. Will not be returning to this place ever, buyers beware and check what they tell you.If you are going to sell a service make sure the people doing the work know what they are looking for in order to sell the job and be able to do the job.Service: Oil change

Doesn't even deserve the 1 star I have to giveI go in there today and tell them "I only want an oil change, nothing else". First off I had one guy there tell me a price to have oil changed, then another comes out to me and says the oil change is $40 less than the first one told me and that there was a $20 discount on top of that. Give him the key and 5 minutes later guy 1 comes to the waiting area and asks me for the key. The car has moved from where I left it so obviously I don't have it. Then someone else starts trying to get me to buy air filters and brakes. I didn't ask them to go dismantling the car's insides to get to the cabin air filter, I only told them to change the oil. We eventually leave and my son notices a piece of plastic trim sat on the dash in front of him, so we have to turn around and go back (not a very convenient thing to do given the location and medians outside). "What is this and why is it on my dash?" "oh that's the cover for the cabin air filter" "yes, BUT WHY is it on my dash and not covering the cabin air filter?". I never did get an answer to that question. Had them put it back and said to the guy fitting it "you do know that I will NEVER use this company again, don't you?". Only saving grace for the place was that I was given a $25 discount from the higher oil change price (2nd guy didn't know the car couldn't use the conventional oil he'd quoted me for), but no I won't be back.Service: Oil change

Went in for oil change, I was on my way out of town should have been quick and easy. No problems with my van runs and drives great, no lights on the dash or anything. First problem I m told I can t use the coupon from the website as that from some other jiffy lube . But they can rotate the tires and offer a 20$ discount ok cool. So I m waiting and after I ve been there 45 minutes (mind u no one was ahead of me other than the car left within 5 minutes of me getting there) I m told that my cabin filter needs to be replaced ok cool replace it. 30 minutes later I m told there s a nail in my tire which is odd because my dash indicates and difference in air pressure but I m about to leave town better to be safe that sorry. We agree to it being patched. Mind you at this point I m told I can walk around in the neighboring shops( WTH were you doing the first hour and a half) I find this strange because I had been watching this guy under my hood for a while but I m being told now y all are going to do the oil change. I m irritated at the point so I walk to the gas station next door and return wait another 20 minutes or so to a bill short of 280. I m about to raise hell by the guy throws some discount on to pacify me. It does for the moment I bay 200 and leave.I get on the highway to head out of town my car now shakes at 60 mph. But I m already headed out town I figure it s from the rotation and will even out it s 5 days later and has not!!! Also my check engine light on, also weird cause supposedly a diagnostic was ran and transmission was fine. So thank jiffy lube I brought in a safe low mileage mini van with no problems and left with a death trap I have to pay someone to fix your overpriced screwups.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Oil change

I took my car to a mechanic shortly after getting my oil changed. The mechanic told me my car was filled with 2qts too much of oil. Once I get my car back I will be going back to ask for a refund.

They would have gotten a better score, but their prices are kinda steep, and they told me they would top off the air pressure in my tires, but when I checked them right after leaving I discovered they hadn't put any air in them at all

Over an hour and a half to get an oil change once they took my car in. Only three cars in the entire place. I definitely do not recommend.

I was traveling through the Richmond, VA area when my truck system alerted me that it needed an oil change. This specific location had extremely friendly and helpful staff and technicians. I was especially impressed that they actually told me NOT to continue with their service because they did not have the type of oil that would be best for my truck. They could have just made the sale and used an inferior oil product, but they were more concerned that I received the right kind of oil even if it was at another Jiffy Lube location (where I ultimately went). I would HIGHLY recommend this specific JiffyLube location and all of the 6 technicians who were working this afternoon (4/30/23). Thank you.Service: Oil change

The young lady at the desk (Jamil? No name tag so guessing at what I overheard) was polite and didn't try to over sell me on anything. However - I noticed her gesturing to the guy in my car to "Pull that truck out!" and that he was looking down/around the pocket of my door as well as the center console. He pulled out and I finished paying, The attendant was polite and I walked out to find my car. In the process I noticed an oil filter socket (Silver, too large to fit my oil filter) laying in the driveway. I stood at the rear of my car waiting for him ot get out, but he seemed to be looking at his phone, when he realized I was waiting on him - he hopped out and apologized. I gestured at the oil filter socket and he seemed surprised to which i asked - "MY oil filter is installed right? (hinting at the carelessness of the tool that found its way into the lot)" He assured me it was and picked up the tool. This prompted me to check the job PROMPTLY as I got back to the office. I slid a cardboard box under to measure for leaks and below is what I found. (Notice the photo w/ time stamp/job info for authenticity). It seems that the cross member was not cleaned after it being soaked in oil draining from the filter area.

I ve been going to this location for years, and every time I know they are going to take good care of my car and help keep the price reasonable. I frequently have tire issues and they are always happy to help. May it be a quick patch or advice where to find a new tire on short notice. This team is fantastic!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Brakes, Oil changeServices: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Brakes, Oil change

Unsure if there have been changes to the protocol but the entire visit was different. I was asked which service I needed as I was led to the lobby to wait and I responded requesting an oil change with the same oil as my last visit. No staff member came in after I entered the lobby to confirm my selection or if I was interested in any other services potentially needed (e.g. tire rotation, filter change, etc.). A staff member came in after 10minutes and confirmed they used the same oil as last time and presented me with the bill to confirm. Upon paying and receiving the receipt, I noticed the oil change was the only item completed and none of the other checks for fluids, filters, or tire pressure were listed. I am fine with being asked to confirm which services I want to accept or decline but not being presented the option is not ideal for me. My car was not vacuumed or windows cleaned. I also usually appreciate having the reminder sticker replaced so I know when to return.Service: Oil change

Very disappointed with my last visit to the Jiffy Lube location. As stated on Jiffy Lube website Signature Service Oil Change customers should have specific fluids checked and filled , exterior windows cleaned , and vacuum interior floors . I didn t not receive any the services listed above. While replacing the service sticker, the technician also removed the Costco tire rotation sticker for my vehicle. An oil change at Jiffy Lube is not cheap and I personally choose to get my vehicle serviced there for those additional services. I really with there was more manager over site on the quality of service that is performed on every vehicle.Service: Oil change

Went to get an oil change at this location and I was initially charged $120 even though I brought my own oil. When I returned to the business after reviewing over my receipt to go over the breakdown of the unusually high price of the service, I was greeted with a very rude and disrespectful attitude by the same employee that initially charged me. The employee would clap his hand for every word that he said and spoke in a very stern and rude manner to my friends and I, while we were trying to be respectful to the person. Another employee came in to teach the initial one, on how to properly charge someone who brings in their own oil in the POS system. The initial employee's behavior is an unacceptable way to treat a customer let alone a human being.Service: Oil change

Daryl helps me every time and always does me justice with my car. He showed me how to check my oil status on my Honda Fit. He took a car for a test drive and noticed something funky with it. As someone who is a new to owning a car, People don t always wanna trust that I know what s up with it. He always listens and checks it out. He is so kind and always in a chipper mood. I drive out of my way to come just to know my car is in the right hands ~ Daryl is the right hands. He is always careful, quick and kind. What more do we need ? Thank you, Daryl!

They almost always have discounts on oil changes if you look them up before hand. They re very quick and Daryl G. is simply the best!! Give that man a raise! They also give your vehicle a once over check to make sure nothing else is wrong with it which is comforting!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Straight up lied about my brakes. Had to come in for an oil change during a busy week, and much like the other reviewer they told me I needed new brakes. The manager told me word for word They are almost gone ! Nothing about manufacturer recommendations.Brought my car to my regular mechanic, a real mechanic, and he said my pads had more than half their life and the rotors looked new.Dont get anything done here that you didnt go in already knowing you needed!!

I went in for an oil change and it turns out I needed a lot more. I was stressed about money, but Daryl did his best to find discounts and give me the best offer he could! For everything needed, the service was very quick, and I will definitely return to this location next time. Again, I want to emphasize how awesome Daryl's customer service was, and how pleased I am with the experience, in large part due to him! Thank you!

Went for an oil change with my own oil and clearly indicated that. The gentleman charged us for the oil anyway but used the oil i brought. Ended up costing twice as much. when i went to explain to him that this is an issue, he started being defensive saying I DIDN T CHARGE YOU FOR AN OIL FILTER we explained that this doesn t explain the $120 charge. After being rude and defensive he went to grab a supervisor who explained that it was mischarged. I appreciate that the supervisor fixed the situation but the treatment from the first employee was rude

Always very nice and the service is quick, but 2 of the past 3 times I ve brought my car in for an oil change they have not fully reattached the splash guard and broke the parts required to correctly re-attach it. My car is low to the ground, so it ends up dragging and completely breaking soon after, so I ve had to replace it twice now.Service: Oil change

My car was overheating and they were able to see me right away. They inspected my car and were able to tell me exactly what i needed to change. Daryl was super helpful and he taught me some things about my car so I could work on it myself. They were all nice and I definitely recommend. And their prices are fair!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Came in to have my tire patched and the job wasn t completed, yet having paid for it. Took the car back there for barely 5 minutes. I asked if they removed the screw lodged in my tire and he quickly shut me down saying everything was fixed. I had to return to another mechanic days later who said there was no evidence of a patch being completed and found the screw I was referring to. Extremely disappointed in their dishonest and dismissive behavior.Service: Tires

I usually do work on my vehicles myself but since we were on a 3k mile road trip. I didn t have the tools. While passing through Richmond I thought hey I used to work at jiffy lube I ll take it there great service in and out cool people .. except upon returning home to change the oil myself.. the oil filter was very loose oil saturation on the pan itself and on the undercarriage. Thankfully no engine damage no knocks. Was curious as to why my car was going through so much oil. But gladly found the issue. I noticed at the end of the service you guys didn t have a master tech or supervisor double check upper bay and lower bay work for proper verification. Would strongly recommend that to avoid future mishaps.
