This is the best place to go. I have been taking my cars for oil changes and car inspection for the last 4 years and never had a problem. The staff is great and very friendly

From start to finish, the process of having my car serviced at Hancock's was not only quick and professional, but they were also very transparent as to the work that was done which I appreciate. I've never had a go-to repair shop for my car, but Hancock's is my go-to now!

Brought my car in for an oil change and state inspection. I had two problems that I needed them to give me an estimate on. I was told diagnostics are $90 per hour and that if it takes half an hour, $45. I was under the understanding that it s an hourly fee because that s what I was told. My appointment was at 11 and at noon, they called me with the estimates for repairs. The bill was $300 because each diagnostic is set at an hourly fee (something I was not made aware of). I failed inspection because I was told that my brakes were bad, and that my rack and pinion was leaking.I got a second opinion from two different mechanics. My brakes were replaced less than a year ago and were good, and my rack and pinion is electric, and therefore doesn't leak.GET A SECOND OPINION IF YOU TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!

Their pumps are ancient outdated pieces of junk. Also and I'll post a picture and you can do the math but I pump when the prices said $2.35 on the sign and it actually worked out to be $2.66 after I did the math by calculating how much I spent versus how many gallons I got. Also you can't just give him a credit card and fill up because their system is so old you have to stop on the amount of money or it will go over. Also you have to go back in if you don't pump as much and have to get your money put back on your credit card it's very inconvenient shop elsewhere.

Been here a few times for putting new tires on and they always service my car quickly. They're honest and I've always seen friendly interactions. They'll always take the time to explain what's going on and make sure your vehicle gets what it needs.

Recently moved to chesterfield a month ago. Was interested in finding a shop to get an inspection that was close. I had my vehicle for a year that I got from carmax who does a thorough check before they sell them and the vehicle is not a everyday vehicle. Was told I needed ball joints on the front and bulbs where out in the rear mind you I changed the bulbs 6 months ago and checked them before I got in the shop. Was told the work would cost $500. I noticed two vehicles In front of me failed and they where newer vehicles. I went and got a second inspection somewhere else 20 minutes in and out. No issues. I m very disappointed with how I was handled and I don t recommend going here. Money hungry shops are the reason so many people rather have mobile mechanics or family friends do the work cause u can t trust these shops anymore

I would first like to say my family have been going there since Dean's father ran the shop and have always trusted them. That being said, I had my vehicle dropped off last night. I called and was informed that they were very busy and they may or may not make it to my car today. I called back just before 5 to find out if they had made it to my car. I was informed they were unable to "finish" my car leading me to believe they started on it. I asked what was wrong with it as I received no call about a problem or price to fix it. I was told to call back in the morning as she can only focus on the customers she is serving at the gas pumps. It shouldn't have been too much to ask if I minded being put on hold or to call back in a few minutes to give her time to find out what the paper work says or if they even had my car I pulled into a bay or not. Customer service should be number one for both the customers gettng gas and the customers that have been waiting all day on a repair that still hasn't happened.

I had taken my car to another shop for inspection. They claimed I needed a lot of work in order to pass, close to $1500, including brakes. Now I had just gotten my brakes fixed so I knew they were taking advantage of the fact that I was a woman. A friend recommended Hancocks. The only thing that needed to be fixed was having my wiper blades replaced.Ended up only spending $50 as opposed to the $1500 the other shop was trying to steal from me.I would recommend these guys to anyone and everyone. They not only did a thorough job, but they didn't try and take advantage of me or make more money off of me than they needed to.If I could give more stars I would!

Hancock's did a great job with repairs on my car! The customer service was phenomenal and they got the job done quickly. When they called to tell me the diagnosis, they went into great detail and answered any questions I had. I cannot say enough good about Hancock's!

I went there for a state inspection and was told I needed my headlights redone and I washed them and they looked new, was told I needed 2 rear tires and the one's on it are only 2 years old and was told I needed a middle exhaust pipe and some other exhaust work. Wanted to charge me $300 for the tires and headlights and send me to there friends at Tony's Muffler for another$300. I went to my regular guy 3 weeks later and passed with no work done on my car. I knew it was a lie

I stopped in for gas after work and noticed that there was no way to swipe a credit card. This forced me to go in to pay, which led to me realizing that I could make an appointment to get my wife s inspection done. Every other place would have us leave the car and come back at the end of the day which is kind of a pain, specially having a six month old at home. Over all, a great experience!!!!

I had an inspection done today at Hancock. Very friendly staff and outstanding customer service! Mainly interacted with Mike and Cathy but everyone there treated me very nice! They had me in and out in no time. We will be visiting here regularly for our automotive needs! Cheap gas prices too!!!!

DONT DO IT. YOU WILL HAVE TO GET YOUR CAR REPAIREDALL OVER AGAIN.....Only because I had to give at least 1 star to post.....I took my car for a simple oil change and inspectionMAINTENANCE has been kept up to date as manufacturers recommended. After completing oil change and filter I started my car only to hear loud knocking that ofc wasnt present before bringing my car here for service....These guys have damaged my car, and have refused to repair.

Love the way they take care of my car. Customer service is great, friendly staff, they have the customers best interest and safety as their top priority. Definitely recommend bringing your vehicles to them!

Convenient to where I live, but wish they were open later than 5. They do not carry the cigarettes I smoke which is a pain because there isn't another gas station for at least a couple miles away. They are usually friendly though and gas is reasonably priced

I needed to have a state inspection done ASAP, and Tyler and his team took great care of me. I was in and out in a half an hour, and the bill was for less than expected. I highly recommend Hancock s. Thank you to everyone there.

I will never take another vehicle to them again! Every time I take any of my family s cars to them for inspection they always come up with something, usually it s lights that are out. I took my Grandson s car to them for inspection on September 29th they promised me it would be done by 4:00 at 4:45 I called them they said they hadn t gotten to it yet, they called me back at 4:55 and said it was rejected for the windshield wipers, the third back light & the tag light, they also told me I had to pay for the whole assembly for the third back light and they wanted to charge me $219.00 so I said no put a rejection sticker on it! I went to Advance bought windshield wipers for $24.00 they put them on for free! I bought the tag lights for $5.00 and my husband installed them & the third back light had a loose wire! When I took it back for re-inspection they nasty lady that works at the front said I couldn t wait for it because they were behind so I took it somewhere else & they inspected it while I waited & I was only there about 45min. My sister gave my Grandson the car & she had it inspected there last year & they charged her over $900.00! So no they will never get anymore of our business & make sure you check your lights if you take it there for inspection it took me three vehicles to learn!

Never going back to these people. I trusted them and they lied to me. Several times I've gotten work done by them parts have then fall off my car. I can't risk my life like that again. Tire fell off after they rotated them, break rotor fell off after they fixed it another time, and they claimed I needed to get my "rear link bushings" done on a 2005 Dodge Neon that doesn't have any. I feel utterly betrayed.

The staff is very friendly and all about customer service. Excellent diagnostics, the crew is all about making sure the problem is properly fixed, instead of just throwing parts at the car like some shops do. Will be coming back for any future repairs!

Had a bad valve stem replaced here and they left half of the old stem rattling inside. This could have caused a catastrophic tire failure while driving. Thank goodness Firestone found this and fixed Hancock's failure.

any time my car has a problem i take it to hancocks. they are the best in town and some of the nicest people ive ever met today i had my car towed there and the owner drove me home!!! You guys are awesome and always fair. Thanks again

They do good work. But they put cheap parts on your car. So you have to come back. I had to come back for my clutch and my CV joint.

Great prices but their pumps don't have credit card machines so in order to fill up I have to walk inside and ask them to turn my pump on..
