I made an appointment here to get my tire inspected for an object stuck in there and to get it fixed. They told me initially it would only take 10-15 minutes to figure out the problem and then let me know if the tire could be repaired or if I had to replace the tire. After 30 minutes, they came out and told me the tire was unrepairable and I would have to get a new one. The technician at Goodyear put my spare tire on instead of leaving the bad tire on. I said I needed to call the dealership where I bought my car to see if my warranty would cover the replacement. It didn't and I ended up finding a Discount Tire later in the day to see if I needed to replace more than just the affected tire to make it even. They inspected the tires as well as the one with the nail and said it actually did look repairable so they checked it out and was able to repair my tire that Goodyear said was unrepairable. I am disappointed that I almost paid $260 for something that ended up being free for me. It felt like I was getting scammed. I will not be returning.

Talked with Amy at the front desk, we were on a working budget- And needed 4 tires with an alignment due to wire showing on all tires. She was so helpful on every part, left the car and got it back 1st thing the next morning. The tech when an extra mile and help fix my bumper that was hanging!! 50 stars, definitely would go back.

Chris gave me his undivided attention. Being my age and never had purchased tires before Chris could see I was very nervous about this purchase. He took time to share information about the tires my son talked to him about for my vehicle. He was able to assist me with another problem with the sensors. I can only say I felt as if he was my son and made sure I was totally satisfied. He took his time with each customer along with answering the phone. If I could give more stars I would.

We were traveling on vacation when we had a tire go flat on the interstate . We were fortunate enough to cross paths with Chris Schaefer at the Goodyear store in Richmond va. He was very helpful and took immediate attention to our predicament and got us back on the road. He is an asset to your organization

Chris Schaefer and his staff at the Williamsburg Road, Henrico VA location has been outstanding. I took my Acura there several times over the last few months for different reasons and each time Chris and his staff were patient with me, provided me details as to what the issues were with my car, they went above and you and provided me a timeline of when my parts would come and when they d have everything fixed and ready for pickup. Although I was a little antsy, they didn t wavered. Their customer service and patience was exceptional. It should be noted that Chris and the team are the ideal employees/staff members that you d want on your team and they should be recognized for their outstanding service to customers like myself. Didn t even get car my serviced. Came in for an oil change and state inspection and was told there were seven cars in front of me. That s fine. I was willing to leave my car overnight and pick up the next day. Well.. the next day came and 30 minutes before closing my car had not been touched. The lady was nice as she could be given the circumstances but the man working the front desk couldn t even apologize after returning my keys.The lady explained that they only have one state inspector who also serves other roles - which is somewhat understandable in this market but I can t phantom how it takes two days to do 6 car inspections. Personally, I believe none of the car service places like to do inspections and wants to focus on the larger repairs. That s fine. Whenever I need new tires or serious repairs I won t be coming here.

I spoke to Amy on 4-24-23 at 11:06am requesting an appt to drop off my car for an inspection. Apparently you can't set appt for inspection which makes zero sense? I dropped off my car on 5-25-23 at 5:30pm and told "we have 4 other drop offs for Wednesday and there is no guarantee we will get to your car tomorrow"! I ask her to keep me informed. No call on Wednesday and I called goodyear back on Thursday 2:40pm spoke to Amy again and they won't be able to inspect my car today either. I asked was someone going to contact me/ SILENCE. Service manager Chris was not in so I took my car and left. Paid for Uber both days. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN. Poor Customer Service. Corp Office is in Ohio

The team here were lifesavers! I got a flat tire on the highway at 4pm on a Friday. The crew was willing to stay late, so when the tow truck brought the car into the lot at 4:45, they got to work and got me back on the road that day. Literally no other garage in the area was willing or able to repair my car at that time. Can t thank them enough!

My wife and I were traveling through the area to visit family and picked up a screw in one of our tires... The team at this Goodyear location took great care of us and got us back on the road, they saved our trip! Lonnie, the Store Manager, did a great job fitting us into the mix with the scheduled appointments and was very professional and helpful. Jason was the technician that did the work on our tire, he was very experienced and knowledgeable. Jason did a high quality job on our repair and we had no further issues with the tire once we left the shop. I would gladly recommend this shop to anyone needing work done on their tire(s).

Kept my daughter's car for 4 days to do a state inspection but never touched her car! I picked up the car to take to my favorite shop and the sarcastic female clerk said "have a nice day". Wow!!! How did they get all those 5 star reviews? This store has gone from very good to extremely poor.

I would highly recommend this Goodyear location. We were on a trip to visit family in New Jersey when we became stuck with a puncture in one of our tires. Dom was the technician who worked on our tire. He did a speedy and fantastic job. If I lived in the area I would use them all the time!

This place has really gone downhill since Robert Goforth, Eric and the service manager that recently passed, have moved on. That team, along with the other worker kept me coming back for over 15 years and always went out of their way to help the customer.They would check other stores or call around until they found what you needed or someone that could help and service you better.I wasted two days going back and forth to this location to get things resolved. It s a shame that while I was standing there I was less than a paying customer. I was a young black kid with questions. I was pushed aside when someone else came into the door. I literally HATE feeling this way at this location.I loved how they use work with my business and we had a great business relationship prior to the change of sales and service managers. I will no longer have any of our fleet vehicles serviced there anymore and since then I have pulled my father s business and two of his clients vehicles from this location.You never know who you are talking to by judging what they might look like on their day off. They no longer have to worry about us bring our cars there any more. I can t emphasize enough how disappointed and disgusted I am with this location.10/24/2021 UPDATEDI guess my voice was heard. They no longer have the same employees. I have changed my 1 Star rating to a 3 Star Rating. Let's see if they can at least win my business back.

We noticed a nail in my tire and that my pressure was very low while dropping someone off at the airport in Richmond. With us being from Williamsburg we wanted to get it fixed before driving home. Tim was amazing and was able to get us in and get my tire patched without an appointment on a busy Saturday! We were so grateful to get in and get it fixed before driving home! Everyone was very nice and understood our situation

I've been going to Goodyear for quite some time now as opposed to that other place stone. Which I have tried them a couple of times but didn't like the service. Goodyear as always provide excellent customer service and is fair and honest!I made an appointment for 9am the day before but went in at 8 thinking it might be first come first serve anyway. Thankfully, I made the appointment because he said it would've been a couple of days to get me in. Make an appointment!

I was stranded with a flat tire this afternoon and called all around until I got to this store who offered to get my hard to find tires and put them on my car in the same afternoon. The good people here were true to their word, they charged reasonable prices and even stayed on after closing time to finish the job as promised. Thank you Lonnie and Tim!

I had a terrific customer service experience today with Jason. Lonnie the manager was customer service focused and they did me a solid. Honest, efficient, creative. I had been in a bit of a sticky situation and they helped me a BUNCH! 5 stars.

I was here at 750 before they opened at 8 and they said it would take all day to do the state inspection and that I could wait with it. They should know that on weekends people are trying to get state inspections done and to have a few spots available for waiters that get there early just for this reason.

Sign on door says opens at.8amWell that's not true. I was there at 751 The person saw me and never came back. Then at 817 came to the door and said He the shop couldn't do the inspection

I had a flat tire and took it to Goodyear. Josh did a great job of giving me the best service possible and Stephen fixed the tire in a short manner. they have always been good to me as I'm a customer over there and appreciate how they treat me. people that come there to have good service knows everything is excellent . I went in to get a state inspection and they told me it would take no longer than an hour, but ended up waiting well over two hours. They failed me because my headlights were apparently aimed a "little low", which would cost me $50 for them to "fix". My car is relatively newer and it was just serviced at my dealership. I've never had any issues ever passing an inspection. They nickle and dime you and rip you off. Unless you want to pay for useless or made up "fixes", take your business elsewhere and NOT here!!!

While traveling to NJ one of our tires picked up a nail causing a rapidly progressing slow leak. We found this Goodyear Tire store close by. At first we thought it was going to be several hours before it was taken care of since we didn't have an appointment but Troy and the crew took care of us and repaired the tire before the hour was up. No charge. We were very thankful and appreciate the courtesy.

No customer service. They don't have a certified mechanic. Slowest work I've ever seen. Wanted 150 dollars to look at car for something that they can't do. A true failure of knowledge.

I never knew service could be so horrible. The front end lied none stop to me. I showed up before the doors opened for a simple car inspection. They thought it was hilarious to inform me I could, not was, next but that they are going for their lunch first. I got out by 3pm. The lady that came in 15 minutes after me or when the doors actually opened was there and with another 2 to 3 hour wait.NEVER GO TO THESE PEOPLE.I will say though the actual mechanics were awesome.

Went there for a quick state inspection. They were skeptical whether or not they would be able to get it done even though I dropped it off Friday late afternoon and told them I would be fine getting it late Saturday or Sunday. They called me mid Saturday to let me know that one of my headlights needed to be realigned and that was only going to be about $49.50. I told them it was fine since it wasn't going to pass inspection without the realignment. When I picked up the car, they charged me $110 and then acted like I was getting a deal when he changed it to $100. I saw the invoice and they charged an extra $30 just to "reinstall" the bulb. I did not receive a new headlight lamp and this is something I definitely would have been able to do on my own. I was extremely dissatisfied with the fact that I was not told it would actually be an extra $85 and they were not willing to help me out.

Took my car in for an inspection 330 bucks later I got a sticker. First my headlights had to be adjusted. I have noticed no problem with them but the shop says they did not pass $51, Them my serpentine belt bad $111 I asked them to leave old belt in car so I could see the damage and of course that was forgotten and it was trashed, then a tail light 24 bucks, and emergency brake adjustment and inspection 103. I find it odd that none of this stuff was reported by the last two Shops that looked at the car did not mention any of these issues. It failed at last shop of windshield and that was replaced and all of a sudden the car has a whole new list of issues???? Will never return to this shop.

The service associate initially priced the total cost of my service (two tires replaced) at about $360. She also mentioned something about a tire alignment, but I didn't think much of it. About an hour later, another service associate asked if I wanted to get a tire alignment. He mentioned nothing at all about price, and remembering that it was mentioned earlier, I told him that it would be fine. When my car was finally ready, I found out they had tagged an additional $85 to my bill. When I expressed my displeasure that the price increase wasn't made clear up front, they were not friendly at all. The whole transaction was very deceptive. Additionally, the tires they put on my car are extremely noisy. I feel like I was completely ripped off.
