Reading all of these other excellent reviews has me so confused. My partner came here after his tire blew out and it took over 2 hours to get 2 new tires, including the person working on his car leaving for lunch in the middle of the job and putting the wrong size tire on initially, and at nearly double the price of when he last got a pair of tires (also Goodyear, and within the past year). I was horrified receiving his updates throughout his wait. I had a better experience of tire install at Walmart, although not by much!

Richard and his staff are fantastic. I had a bad experience at the Gaskins store and so went here. I am so glad I did. The difference was night and day. They took care of the problem quickly. Very professional, helpful, and friendly. I will be going to this store in the future.

I desperately needed a flat tire patched, but it was last minute and 5:15pm. They were able to fit me right in, and I love the convenience of their later hours.The gentleman at the front desk and the gentleman who worked on my car were both friendly, efficient, and professional. They were done and had me out of the door in fewer than 30mins.The prices are also very good deals. This is NOT the closest to me, but I ll be returning for my car inspection and oil changes because their service is so great.I also love the convenience of making an appointment online, and they re open until 6pm. Additionally, the guy was quick to respond to the phone, which I imagine is difficult to always do as the only person at the front. When he picked up, he was friendly and professional.The only thing I regret is not asking for their names so I could shout out to them and make sure they get the recognition that they deserve! I went Monday, 9/25/23 at 5:15pm.Thanks guys, I ll refer my friends and family and see you soon for my inspection!PS I almost forgot- most importantly, they fixed my tire

I could not believe it. We have been coming here for years. Service has been decent but this experience was the best. A straight shooter. Richard helped my dad get tires and gave a price that was fair.

Don't come here. I came in and asked for an oil change and a state inspection and instead they decided to do work on my vehicle that I didn't ask for without asking me and charge an egregious amount. Changed multiple bulbs that were recently changed and worked completely fine as I checked them before I came in and charged me 30 per bulb for labor costs. Hahahhahaha. Not only that they didn't even change the oil. So to recap they didn't do what I asked of them and instead went on free play just changing stuff that they didn't need to, without asking, stuff by the way if I needed for inspection I would've just done myself and brought it back, and charged me an insanely over priced amount for. Dont come here. They will try to scam you.

Jay and Jimmy did a great job. The air conditioning compressor went at the peak of a heat wave. We needed to get this fixed quickly for an upcoming business trip. They turned it around same day and charged a reasonable price for it. They were pleasant to work with and had excellent customer service as well.

We would definitely recommend this Goodyear shop. We were helped by Katie L. and Jimmy S. and received great customer service. The front desk was polite and the garage was quick and efficient. Coming back next time we need new tires.

The product knowledge and scheduling here were exceptional. My service for four new tires resulted in significant damage to one wheel, which required that Goodyear replace the wheel marred by the tire changer machine. The supplier for replacement wheels didn t have the correct wheel, but sent one that was installed. Store manager Jay did a good job of following up on the issue (wrong color), and was able to arrange for an OEM wheel of the correct specification. The fix was handled very quickly while I waited.

There aren't enough words to describe my satisfaction with their service. I've been bringing both my cars here for over 15 years. I'm reminded every time why as I continue to receive top notch customer service. Jimmy and Jay are first class all the way and always have my best interests at heart with their recommendations and service. I wouldn't dare ever taking my cars anywhere else.

My local Goodyear saved me after I came out to my car one morning and discovered a completely flat tire in my driveway. Jordan and Katie were so helpful and my replacement tires were put in my car in an hour. Thanks to their speedy service I was even able to make it to my meeting for work!

Service was very poor and no one cared about it I brought my car to patch a tire. Not only were they unable to properly apply the patch, they left my car dirty inside and outside (grease marks on the leather and everywhere on the door), and left the car unlocked at night on the parking lot. It was mistake after mistake.

Jimmy and Jay and their team are incredible.. they run a tight efficient but friendly ship AND they look like they have been cast for a tv commercial!!! I may have to run over another mail! Seriously, they are great ..I WILL refer!

Came here in January and received the best customer service I ve ever received. The manager, Jay, was so helpful and informative and made me feel so comfortable about the changes going on with my car and the things that needed to be done. I will only come here for my car needs as long as I live in Richmond.

Had a flat tire and brought it in the good folks at this location took care of it for me quickly and didn t even charge anything! Will definitely be coming back for future car service. Highly recommend!

I ve been here on two separate occasions to patch a nail hole in my tire. Both times I ve been greeted by a friendly staff who went above and beyond to fit me into the schedule and get my tire repaired quickly. I m very happy with the service I have received. Team could not have been nicer or more friendly. You treat them with respect, they will treat your car with respect. Had a flat tire and they took care of it within an hour. Couldn t of have a better experience

If i could give the team, led by Jimmy Shepherd and Jay Simons, a 10 star rating I would. These guys went beyond excellent customer service. I had a tire emergency at 4:30pm the night before an 11 hour road trip. They fit me in, got everything fixed and ready so i could feel safe to begin my roadtrip. This was the kind of customer service that happens only once in a while but leaves a lasting impression. Thank you Jimmy and Jay and happy 2023!

I had purchased tires from this location back in 2019 and had had a great experience then. But what is even more remarkable is that I just had a nail in my tire, and they patched it at no charge!! (Since I had purchased the tires from them). In this day and age, not many places would do that. I highly recommend this location to anyone, even if your auto needs are not tire-related. They are friendly, kind and honest. I ll be back when I need new tires!!!!

I love Jay Simons & Dana Aderholdt at Good Year! They are professional & work quickly /efficiently to get the job done ! They always give me pointers on how to keep my car in tiptop shape and give insightful car issue preventatives. Their hard work doesn t go unnoticed. Please acknowledge them, as well as their entire crew for their amazing efforts. I Recommend Good Year and this location a million times ! Good year auto service = a good day !

Not only did I get great service but the professionals inside told me about my options and future work I could get done later if I wanted to. Everyone inside the shop and out was very knowledgeable and helped me understand my car and tires better. Very honest and straightforward and didn't push for me to spend any more money than I came in being able to afford. I will be returning here!

We have been going to this location for years. Jimmy and the folks he works with have always gone above and beyond to make sure that our cars are serviced at the highest levels. We would recommend this location to anyone who wants reliable, friendly, and expert people to service their cars.

I do not post many reviews, but this Goodyear Auto Service store deserves recognition for the way they have treated me and my family. At my last visit, my vehicle was in need of new front rotors and brakes. The estimate I received here was FAR less expensive than what the dealership quoted me. Although dealerships are known for being more expensive, this place did it for about 1/3 the price! That is a tremendous difference in savings!My vehicle was ready in about two hours and passed inspection with no problems. Now my brakes work just as well as the original brakes did when they were on a brand new vehicle purchased from the dealership.The quality of the work here is excellent, and I am happy to do business here again. This place also worked hard to get my vehicle back to me in a timely manner and me feel like they valued my business.Although spending your hard earned money on car repairs is never fun, this place gives very fair prices and does great work. Dollar for dollar, I believe they are one of the best in RVA for both price and quality of work. I will continue doing business here in the future.

Recently got a new set of tires and an alignment and they were fantastic. Very communicative during the process and I was even able to add on an inspection after I had already dropped of the car since they had time. Hopefully I won't need tires for awhile but I'll come back when I do.
